I am in love with this palette. All the colors are great and so versatile. The package is so pretty I am afraid to use it. Everyone should have this. I was lucky to get it in a swap with a great MUAer.

I love this palette. It comes with a mirror, a brush, a mini eyeliner and 10 eyeshadows. Each eyeshadow works well alone or in combinations, and the mini liner and brush make everything easily available when applying your makeup.

Totally love this- the eyeshadows are wonderful, the colours are perfect, the packaging is just so chic, and the price is great value!

This is the best way to try out MAC shadows- and great for travelling too! When I'm on the go, this is the only eyeshadow item I need- the black eyeliner and #21 brush are really handy too. The colours are fantastic, everything from a basic look to something more pretty and sparkly, to a more intense evening look. And of course, the sleek white compact is divine!

I guess I am in the minority here...the colors in this palette are really pretty but only a couple of the shades worked for my fair skin. Most of them needed a lot of work to look good. MAC's frost eye shadows tend to go on really choppy for me. I really liked the way it was set up with the brush, pencil and sharpener. Sleek packaging as always from MAC.

Love this palette..Eyeshadows included are all favorites of mine so it's nice to have them all together..My introduction to Smolder eye kohl which I love also.

Like many others, this is my first try with MAC (mainly cos the color range is so overwhelming, it's impossible to decide which to pick individually!) This is a great way to try, especially for people like me who get tired of colors quickly. Although not all colors will be suitable for any one skin tone, what I like best is the quality of the shadows. Many shadows have problems showing up on my skin, but not MAC. Terrific quality and great colors!

I finally got this set and am elated that it came! I've been looking for this forever because I had hesitated when it first came out. The colors are all very wearable (I'm a PPP) and I like how they're paired so it's easy to make a look for yourself. I also like that it includes a brush and pencil. The set also fits perfectly in my MAC brush set case so it's great to take around with me too! I *highly* recommend this set!

I rather adore this. :) I don't have a whole lot of MAC shadows, so this was a great way for me to get a nice assortment to play with. I also really like the brush that comes with it, it's got the right amount of softness and picks up just enough color. Also comes with an adorable little mini pencil sharpener to go with your mini Smolder pencil. I love the cute white painbox-looking box, too. Well worth the money.

My first MAC eyeshadows and I love them! I never thought eyeshadow would make such a difference but immediately I saw the difference. There is so much pigment in each one that I don't have to do a ton of swipes with my brush to get the color going. They lasted through 98% of the day. They don't crease. Beautiful colors. Great beginner's palette especially for someone who has no clue what MAC colors to start with. The price is great for the palette. Like someone else said, even though they are not full sized eyeshadows, it will be a while before they're well gone. So many combinations to play with and I love the pencil liner and sharpener. MAC is awesome!

I really like this set! The color variety is excellent:Mylar, Jest, Pink Freeze, Perverted Pearl, Vex, Haux, Mulch, Beauty Marked, Night Owl & Smut. I have managed to play with most of the colors. Some seem good and others, not so good quality wise. Price-wise, this is a steal: $30 to sample 10 e/s shades plus you get a super e/s brush (213SE), Smolder eye pencil & a sharpener for it. I am basically happy with it.

This is my first MAC palette and I really love it! Like another reviewer said, I probably woudln't have bought some of the colors individually, but a palette is a great way to try them out. I think the colors are really wearable and I like that they are set up with the lid shade on top and the crease shade on the bottom. Of course, there are limitless possibilities to the number of looks you can create. I don't particularly like the white case as it can get dirty easily. I do love the price though! All in all, a great purchase! Makes a great gift too...

This palette is great for me. For the cost of 2 or 3 shadows I get to try 10 and an Eye Kohl as well. While they are small wells of shadow I can't really see myself finishing more than one or two of them. Not all of the colors are ones that I would have bought individually but that is the fun of it - and the fact that they are all 'wearable'.
Can totally go day or night - depending.
Very fun to play with.
Not crazy about the white metal case but it is solid and will do the trick.

A MUST HAVE! Simply great selection of gorgeous top quality shadows from MAC. Shadows last forever without creasing. The colors are just stunning and look great in the palette. My only dislike was the white packaging but other than that a great value at only $30! Buy this one!

part of MAC's holiday 2002 palettes. this time packaged in a sleek white container, very pretty, althought easily dirtied. great way to try a lot of different shadows and a great way to carry colors for travel or work or the gym. the colors in this are: Mylar (matte creamy vanilla), Jest (shimmery peachy shade), Pink Freeze (shimmery pink), Perverted Pearl (shimmery silver), Vex (pale green that flashes pink), Haux (matte brown/taupe shade), Mulch (shimmery peachy brown), Beauty Marked (black with pink shimmer), Night Owl (dark blue with blue shimmer), and Smut (very dark brown with slight maroon undertones), sorry for horrible color descriptions. i like how the palette is arranged, with 5 shadows on top taht correspond with the 5 shadows on the bottom row. also includes smolder eye pencil and MAC 213 SE brush (but its long, like a full-sized)
