I had heard a good review about this (brush and formula were great), so I thought I would give it a try. It is terrible. Dry, dry, dry. The brush is a great design, I am going to try and jab it into a different tube of mascara that I do like.

Okay firstly the brush works amazing in separating and leaving no clumps. Unfortunately the formula is so dry and thin it feels like it's scraping my eyelashes. If they had this brush with the orange scandal eyes we would have a great mascara. Would not recommend

I am very into trying different mascaras. I figured if try this one because I was curious about the brush. I think the top ball portion should be a tad smaller. But honestly it wouldn't matter all that much unless they completely remake the formula. I. Ended up using it 3 times and throwing it away. It dried quick is clumpy and flakes onto my skin. Can't get any worse than that really.

I really need to stop getting suckered in by commercials lol. I got this bc I thought it would give the 'false' lash effect especially with the "so-called" lengthening fibres. This did nothing. The formula was dry and dry....and oh, did I mention.... DRY?! The result was hard brittle spider looking lashes!! GROSS. Also during the day... a fibre or 2 from the mascara fell into my eyes and caused it to keep watering annoyingly. It also ruined all the under eye makeup I had on! I will stick to the L'oreal Voluminous mascara and never stray away again!!

The commercials convinced me to buy this mascara along with the Rimmel Flex one as well ( I like to use lengthening and volumizing mascaras together to get both results) and I must say that this stuff is pretty good. It gave me great length, lasted for a long time, didn't flake, etc. I still love my Maybelline mascara way better than this one it gives me better results so the only way that I would buy this product again, is if Maybelline isn't available.

Buy this for the wand, not the formula. It's horrible. Matte, dry and clumpy, with lots of fallout. I will wash the brush to keep.

PROS:
the brush has a ball point end which makes it easy to get into the corners
gives alot of volume and length
long lasting and doesn't flake

CONS:
the brush is very big (which i dont mind but i know alot of people do)
it dries quickly so if you get it on the skin you have to use makeup remover to get it off
can get clumpy if too much is applied

A lot of these negative reviews are downright hilarious, if you hated the rest of the scandal eyes mascaras, really why would you spend money on the new one?
**
I love this mascara, I have all the Rimmel mascaras and love them. I angle the large part of the brush to get the lengths, and then use the balled end to work through the base of the lashes to add volume, and also get the smaller lashes that are hard to catch.

I absolutely hate this product. I mean I HATE it.
I was hooked by the commercial Because this had a unique brush. The first thing I saw was the huge HUGE brush. As I tried it on, I couldn't get into the edges and flick my eyelashes to give it a cat-eye look. I knew that this product would be a disaster since I had tried their Original Scandal-Eyes Mascara and I hated it. After that, I though that they would make a better version but sadly, they didn't.

Disappointing for a number of reasons: Firstly, I hate the brush - it's very awkward. The ball at the end does nothing for my lashes and I consistently end up smudging the mascara on my eyelids. Secondly, it's rather dry and flakes after a few hours. And finally it's not easy to remove - I use Clean & Clear Make-up Dissolving Foaming Cleanser. It normally dissolves mascara really well but not this one :(

I loved this it really does what it says it will. The brush is awesome as it feels its really combing through the lashes and the little ball on the end help to focus on certain areas for more volume and flare. When this tan out I picked up the orange version and I feel exactly the same except that brush was horrid. Top big an bulky

Yes ladies I jumped on the bangwagon and got this mascara and I agree with the other reveiwers, this SUCKS big time, if you have stumpy lashes like me this is not for you, plus the brush is plastic but its very hard and prickly so it irritates my eye area while applying it will poke but if you don't have sensitive eye area then fine, its similar to Benefit There Real mascara, the wand I mean not formula, I used it like two days and took it back to Walmart ,no way. Elf has mascara with a similar type brush for $3 that's a better option in my opinon.

I hate hate hate this mascara. I've never had a day when I've applied this mascara and it hasn't smudged under my eyes. Its so dry and flaky that most of the times the flakes get into my eyes and cause irritation. And to top it all, it does not add any volume or length to my eyelashes. Does not even hold the curl, I had assumed since its so dry it must be light, but no, thats not the case. So, I will never ever buy any mascara from Rimmel again.

i bought this on a whim because i like to change mascaras often (i like to try them all)
at first glance the brush is fat (which i hate) once i tried it..the results were amazing
i already have thick lashes that curl so i wouldnt be able to comment on those aspects. i was very satisfied
only reason why i took a lippie off is because it flakes and burns so bad once it gets into your eyes
id buy it again because i got good results with under 5$

Like the brush BUT the deal breaker was that it flakes. I usually never have that problem with Rimmel mascaras. This 1 is just a little bit too dry. Lashes looked decent but i can't with the flakes.

I was really disappointed with this mascara. I was lured in by the price and the 3 for 2 offer on Rimmel products in Boots but regretted my purchase as soon as I'd opened the tube. It looked and felt dryer than the mascara I was replacing. The wand has a strange ball on the end which makes application really awkward and I managed to blob this on my eyelids numerous times. The overall effect was pretty underwhelming. I went out for dinner wearing this and when I returned two hours later, I had the worst panda eyes ever. It wasn't even raining outside! Will be paying a bit more and sticking to my L'Oreal Telescopic favourite from now on.

I'm a sucker for pink packaging and Rimmel has conned me again with the promise of flirty, lengthened lashes. I wasn't into the original Scandaleyes mascara because it was "wet" and clumpy to apply and all I got was spider lashes. Upon application, I noticed Show Off is dry in texture compared to its predecessor, too dry in my opinion. The orb-like extension on the end of the wand did nothing to lengthen my lashes and made application awkward. The mascara fibers are short/flexible and do an ok job at defining my eyes but I will not repurchase because the pigmentation is bad, hardly any noticeable difference from my normal lashes and it flakes onto my cheeks after a few hours...so attractive! Overall, this mascara is too natural-looking for me, I like super pigmented/bold formulas and it doesn't last long before it flakes.

This product has done nothing for me.
Let's start with the packaging - It's a slightly darker hot pink, with the same shape container as the rest of the Scandaleyes mascaras. It's okay, but the plastic used makes it feel like i'm using a toy. It's ridiculous.

Now, i think the product could do wonders, if only the brush didn't hold it back. This brush is the honest to god reincarnation of Lucifer himself. It has your ordinary fluff comb, but then it has the wrecking ball on the end. If you're a beginner in make up, this will throw you off your little high horse. The brush is so difficult to use, and it barely grips your lashes. It distributes the absolute minimal product it could offer. Plus, if any of the product did get on my lashes, all it did was coat them. No volume, curl, or length.

This mascara was NOT worth the money, and it's such a hassle to get off my lashes. This isn't waterproof, so don't wear this to the pool unless you want to look like Alice Cooper walking out of the water.

I hate it, and i do not recommend this horrible product.

Love Rimmel`s Scandaleyes mascara in the orange tube, so of course I immediately snatched up this mascara when it came out in stores. I purchased mine for $5.98 (Canadian) at Walmart. After using this mascara on and off for the past 6 weeks I have to say I`m just not that impressed. The formula is quite dry and really does nothing for length or volume. What I did find helpful was the ball end of the brush for separating or defining my lashes before or during application of other another mascara. The ball does a good job without adding extra product. Do I really need this mascara again for that sole purpose, the answer is no. Therefore not a repurchase mascara for me.
