I love this palette, the colors are so beautiful and very wearable for a variety of occasions from day to night. The colors have lots of pigment and went on easy, even with the brush it came with. I look the packaging, and it comes with a little guide that shows you a few different looks you do. The only reason I took off one lippie is because I found the staying power not that great. I did use the primer it came with, and my usual Urban Decay primer. It's not horrible, but I could tell it had faded by the time I got home after a night out. I'd still highly recommend this to anyone. I bought it for the gold color specifically, but the rest of the colors are beautiful too!

I LOVE this palette! My skin tone is around NC15-20 and I have pretty deep set hooded eyelids and haven't had any issues with fading or creasing over a primer. Every single color is very pigmented and smooth. I also really like the combination of colors together. I like the packaging a lot as it is pretty compact and slim but still has a big mirror. The brush that came with it was decent in my opinion compared to brushes/applicators that usually come with palettes like these. I was able to get this on sale for around 20$ so it was definitely worth it! Overall its a really great palette I love that its neutrals but kind of with a little twist to make eye looks more interesting! definitely recommend.

I always hate to bring a product rating down, but I can't help it with this one. These shadows are so beautiful along with the palette itself, but they are the worst creasing shadows I think I've ever used. I've tried these shadows with DS and HE primers and nothing prevents them from eventually just disappearing from my eyes entirely.

I'm glad to hear these work well for others, but if you are prone to creasing, you may want to look somewhere other than this palette.

This palette is absolutely beautiful! I consider myself exceedingly spoiled when it comes to eyeshadows and I did not expect to like it as much as I do. The formula is as soft and velvety as my Smashbox shadows. The finish is very flattering and brings so much light around the eyes. The colors all blend well with each other, and I like to use the black shade as an eyeliner. The brush they include is so easy to apply with, and I'm usually very picky about those too. The packaging is sturdy, the eyeshadow primer is comparable to the best (just like the shadows). Also there is a little thin leaf of plastic on the inside which says "cheers" and I found that just adorable. :)

I tend to go for a nude look, and I was a little worried that these shadows would be too glittery/dramatic for me. But I LOVE this palette! The colors are beautiful and the shadows are pigmented, rich, and buttery. I followed their guide for a daytime eye and loved the outcome! It will be fun to play with these colors. Very wearable! I've never bought Bare Minerals eyeshadow before, but I'm very impressed by this formula.

WOW! This collection of 8 pressed eye shadows is one of Bare Escentuals'/Bare Minerals' LE offerings for Xmas 2012 and what a great eye shadow set it is. This was my first time trying the pressed eye shadows from this company and if the others are of similar quality to the shadows in this palette, I will certainly be trying more of these. While I always wear any eye shadow with a primer, for the security it provides, I decided to try these on their own, as I'd read at Temptalia that they wear well without primer. Guess what - it's true!

The Star Treatment is 8 basically warmer toned shadows and a good sized shadow primer thrown in for good measure! While my skin is cool toned, I do find that warmer toned neutrals work really well on my dark brown eyes, and none of the shadows in this collection is so orange or red toned that I cannot use it. The shadows are all shiny, but when applied, what you see with most of them is a beautiful glow rather than outright frost or glitter. It is a very flattering finish. The shadows apply beautifully and the colour selection has been well put together - a great assortment of neutrals from light to very dark and a few more neutral toned or less really warm toned shades for ladies like me who don't do "orange". My favourite colours are VIP, Ritzy, Kudos and Elitist but all are wonderfully wearable. The brush that is included is miles better than what is usually thrown in with things like this - it's a brush I will actually use! I love that the case is shiny because you can actually use it as a mirror for putting on lipstick (no need to even open the case to get at the mirror inside!). The case is a bit fiddly to get open but other than that, the packaging is very good. And the eye shadow primer included is really excellent. I'd never tried BE's eye shadow primer before (I'm happy with the other primers I have) but it really is good and I would consider purchasing this again on its own.
