I am a big fan of matte, velvety foundations. This one by Burberry delivers just that type of finish -- a smooth, perfected canvas without any shine. I would not recommend for dry skin unless you adequately moisturize beforehand, or else it will cling to any flaky patches of skin. It has a thick, liquidy texture that will blend best with a Beauty Blender, a buffing brush, or a flat-top like the Sigma F80. It provides a solid medium coverage, not as much as MUFE Mat Velvet or Estee Lauder Double Wear. While the matte finish looks beautiful at first, it does tend to fade away in a few hours if you have oily skin. I highly suggest using a good primer underneath, with a finely-milled matte loose powder to set it. I don't mind blotting throughout the day because the finish is so beautiful. I also have a near-perfect match with the lightest shade 201, a fair neutral-yellow color which matches my NC15, pale olive skin. 202 would match NW15, and 203 would match NC20's. I would recommend this foundation if you are looking for a medium coverage, and a soft-matte finish!

Man, I really wanted to like this foundation. It goes on very smooth, and honestly I LOOOOOVE the smell omg- I normally hate fragrances in foundations with a passion, but this smells heavenly, like angel jizz. Every time I breathe in I just get happy thoughts. But anyway.
Unfortunately I really don't have anything else good to say about it. It doesn't last too long and kinda cakes up after about 3-4 hours, even with a primer/setting spray. It also REALLY needs to set as it goes on quite light before it really darkens, which can make it pretty tricky to work with and purchase. I really like something with a glow but for now I'll stick with my photogenic luminescence from Lancome. A sad skip.

I am in love with his foundation. The finish is mat and i apply it with my 130 brush by mac. I am in mac a nc25-30 and i use the color #204 which is a tiny bit too dark for me. This foundation is great for combination or oily skin. The packaging is also beautiful! It is a bit pricey but it is definitely worth the money. This foundation came out a couple of months a go and it's definetely my HG !

Great foundation! But a bit about my skin... I have normal skin which is sometimes combination in the summer. I have no spots/zits on my face, only get a couple at that certain time of the month! This foundation is fantastic! It goes on so evenly and makes my skin look perfect. I would say it is medium coverage. I use the Burberry primer first, then this, then the Burberry setting powder on top and it looks flawless. I use shade 201 which is the lightest yellow-toned shade and it's perfect for my pale olive skin. Definitely try it out! I think those with oily skin would love this as well as it gives a slight matte effect.
