I got free samples of this from Target. AWFUL! Made my face super shiny (which isn't a big deal since I'm covering it with a matte foundation) and it STUNG. My rosacea P&P are now super red and pissed off at me. NO.
Say what...they charge $30 for this?!?!?! Oh hell naw!

Short and to the point: this primer did nothing for me. Literally nothing. It didn't have any negative effects, but no positive ones, either. So.....I guess, try at your own discretion? But it's a good amount of money to spend on something that acts like water.

I recieved a sample of this and haven't looked for another primer since. The best way I can describe this is as a rich, creamy illuminator. It is pearlescent with a light tan pigment to it. It filled in my pores and left my skin radiant and dewy. I applied some liquid foundation and powder on top and my face was flawless. I even use it alone on my cheeks as a highlighter. The only thing I don't like is the price ($30) and the fact that this brand seems to never go on sale at Target.

Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer works exactly like Laura Mercier's Radiance Foundation Primer, and is somewhat even better in my opinion.

Just like LM's Radiance, Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer isn't the kind of primer that's intended to make makeup last for longer, because it doesn't. This primer is specifically designed to brighten your complexion, and OH MY - it will not disappoint!

Pixi Beauty Primer gives a lovely, radiant, healthy glow to the face that looks incredibly natural. I agree it evens skintone very well and even minimises any dark areas I have on the face. It's an excellent base for foundation as well.

And best thing about it, I don't break out at all with the Beauty Primer unlike Laura Mercier's Radiance - so even more of a winner. Would buy again!

I have bought this product on two separate occasions, hoping to make it work for me, and have finally given up! I saw videos and reviews raving about it and loving the glow it gives the skin. Because it has a peachy coloration, I felt it helped even out my skin tone a little before applying my foundation, but after several attempts I have accepted that I always get the same result: greasy, oily skin within an hour. Not to mention that because of the coloration of the product, if you fail to completely smooth it out and apply it evenly, you can have some dark patches. I would definitely not intend to use this as a primer. I never felt it prolonged the wear of my makeup, but rather shortened it due to the oiliness it caused. I can't even use this as a highlighter since it is seriously that greasy and heavy on my skin. Not to mention how expensive it is. May as well get something better with your money. Perhaps on girls with really dry skin this would be more effective, but it's not for me!

I got a sample of this in the Target beauty bag and it is alright. For me the price point on this is way too high for the product this is. This I would describe as more of a highlighter instead of a primer. I found if I overdid this it would make me look funny. When I used a little under my foundation as I would a primer it left me glowy. So kind of a nice if you have it, if you do not then you are not really missing much.

I received a sample of this product in my recent Target beauty bag. When used in moderation it does lend a very nice peachy glow to the skin, but can look a little too orangey on my fair skin tone. It is moisturizing and doesn't break out my combo skin. For the price I would not purchase. It might irritate my skin a bit, didn't keep it on long enough to find out.

This is a nice product, but not a must-have in my opinion. I'm currently using a sample from the most recent Target beauty bag. I don't think of this as a primer as much as a luminizer, because it's a peachy liquid with a pearly finish. Thankfully that peachy tone doesn't translate onto the skin (or maybe my foundation neutralizes it?) When used with a foundation that tends to make my skin look cakey, the overall effect is a more natural looking foundation. This was fun to try but I probably won't buy the full size when I run out.

I got the sample in my Target Beauty Bag and was excited to try it because i've been eyeing the Pixi makeup line for a while. The price for this is pretty high so are the other items in the line but probably for good reason. I was hesitant to try this at first because i've heard elsewhere that it makes your skin oily and has no effect. I put this on before my makeup and wow. I noticed the slight sparkle it adds to your face making it look like you're glowing. It blended easily on my face making it soft and even hide some of my blemishes. Adding concealer only made it look more flawless. I've never felt my skin like this after adding makeup since my skin tends to be dry and oily. Everyone is different so it might not work for some. All in all this product is worth the price if you have money to spare.

I got a 1ml sample of Pixi's Flawless Beauty Primer in my Target Fall Beauty bag, the only makeup sample in the bunch. Pixi is a brand that appeals to me but I'd never previously tried because of their prices, which rival that of high end brands. I had really high hopes for this brightening primer, I've never tried a face primer I didn't like to be honest. Well, at least before I tried this one. Pixi's Flawless Beauty Primer is supposed to be the "ultimate primer to neutralize and smooth uneven skin tone leaving a luxurious lustre finish - like your skin 10 years ago!". But Pixi, I do not want to look 10. Anyways, jokes aside, this primer contains lots of beneficial ingredients like Vitamins A,C, and E, Truffle Extracts rich in amino acids and minerals, and pearl extract as well. No wonder this primer costs $29.
The full size packaging is beautiful, it looks very luxurious. Even the sample was cute. I was so excited to dive right into this product..but I was so shocked when I did. This primer was very thin and had a strong peachy tone to it. The scent of this primer is as peachy as it's tone, which is pleasant. When first applied to the skin it felt very nice, like a thin moisturizer, but as I worked it in my skin began to feel tight and uncomfortable. I was really not impressed by what I saw after I completed application. Pixi's Flawless Beauty Primer have my skin a very warm, almost yellowy tint and had a very heavy gold sheen to it. My face was shiny and glittery and honestly, I looked kinda ill. I applied Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream over it, hoping that only a slight luminosity would show through. My hopes were dashed, I looked doubly greasy and all the gold, pearlescent sheen still showed through. This primer also gave my skin a sticky, tacky feeling to it. There was enough in the packet for a second use, but honestly I don't know if I want to use this product again. I might use it as a highlighter, it's very similar in tone to Benefit's Girl Meets Pearl.
I'm really sad to say that I didn't enjoy this product, I was so excited to try it out. Has anyone else who used this product had a similar experience? Or maybe I'm just too pale to reap the benefits.
