I live in New Zealand, which means I had to pay $18 for this mascara, which is really crazy. I've heard good things about this mascara and I'm pretty pleased with the product. I got it in black brown for a more natural look. I feel you can't build it up much though without it getting a bit clumpy. The packaging is really nice and I really love the wand itself. I would totally buy this again if I needed to (maybe if there's ever a sale next time :-P). Awesome.

I've moved from mascara to mascara over the years and for the last few I've been using the CoverGirl lash blast in the orange tube. It gives nice volume and can actually add a good amount of length if used properly.

I grabbed this on a whim when I saw the "200% more volume". While I wouldn't say it delivers 200% more volume, it easily outpaces the orange tube in lash separation, clump crushing (oh dear), and does produce nice volume. I think the lash separation feature is what makes it my new favorite.

One coat gives me sweet girl next-door lashes. Long, dark, and fuller. A second coat gives me a bit more volume and great definition, a real wide awake in a good way look. Add a third coat or more...BAM. Drama. All without any clumps or lashes getting glued together. I will say that the brush took a few tries to get the hang of. Especially when doing my lower lashes. I plan on making this my go-to mascara for everything.

I got mine on sale for $5. This mascara seriously did not clump on MY lashes at all, which is great! I got alot of volume and it also separated my lashes!

I was looking for a mascara to help my mature eyelashes have some volume in them. These is not it. Not only did it not give me any volume it made my eyes water. I have tried this about 3 times and always the same effect. Will not re-buy nor recommend. Mine is in the trash. What a waste of money.

I was excited about all the hype over this mascara and when Walgreen's had it BOGO 1/2 off, I picked up two. Even the salesclerk said they had just had a demo and everyone loved it and I was going to want 2 of them at that price. Considering they were $7, I decided to follow her advice. I chose one in black and one in blue. I have been using this for a month now. It does apply easily and looks natural and definitely does not clump. The brush is straight and has a tapered shape. It's got little velcro looking bristles. They are soft and flexible and brushlike. I don't really care for the brush at all. It is hard to get the inner corner lashes with this brush and I prefer a curved wand instead. The product does not really lengthen or give much volume and it takes several coats to get the look I prefer. It does look natural though with 1 coat and it doesn't clump even on the third coat. I dislike the packaging. It's ugly and bulky and super cheap looking and feeling. I would rather have a smaller wand handle and didn't like the shape of this one. I am just not impressed and would rather reach for my beloved L'Oreal mascaras instead.

Generally I go for the "maybe she's born with it" look, as in, I wear a full face of makeup and attempt to make it look as though I am born naturally perfect. I do not like false looking, clumpy, extra black lashes. My favorite mascaras would be Buxom and Lash Blast fusion (purple tube) in brown-black. I HATE clumps. I have even nearly completely wiped off other mascara wands with tissue to avoid smudgy, clumpy, brittle lashes.

With that out of the way, I love this mascara. No clumps, overall excellent control from both the wand and formula, allowing you to really work the mascara, separating every lash from the root to the end, reach the inner and outer corner lashes and perhaps does the best job at coating lower lashes of any mascara I've tried. As a result, you get excellent natural looking length. Not much in terms of thickening but I personally have naturally thick lashes and don't need that from a mascara. I also don't need to curl my lashes so I can't speak to how it holds a curl.

Basically, it delivers exactly what it says it does, lots of length with no clumps. Love it.

Edit: Recently I tried They're Real, I am not sure if directly comparing them is fair but I much preferred this Lash Blast.

This is a good mascara for an every day or "no makeup" makeup look. Sometimes when I'm running out the door, I just like to conceal under my eyes and swipe a little mascara on to make my lashes darker and a little more noticeable. This mascara is great for that purpose. It provides very clump-free lashes with a good amount of length, but little volume. If you're looking for big, bad, going out lashes, this is not the product you're looking for. If you just want something quick, easy, and fairly natural looking, you'll enjoy it.

My only real issue with this mascara is the packaging. Is anyone else really over CoverGirl's chunky mascara packaging? I like to store my mascaras in a cute mug I decorated--these are almost impossible to fit in there! I also am not crazy about the green, or the shape in general. It seems very cheap looking.

However, the product itself is quite good and extremely reasonably priced (I've seen it at Walmart for about $6!) which is my MAIN concern... So overall, good job CoverGirl.

I love this mascara. It gives me a nice natural clump free look. It gives my eyelashes both volume and length. It isn't harsh on my eyelashes. It is totally my HG mascara.

This mascara is amazing! My daily mascara that I use is “They're Real" by Benefit and I love this one better. I love the fact it lengthens and creates voluminous lashes while keeping it clump free and natural looking. I have Asian small lashes and after using the lash curler and Clump Crusher I have long noticeable lashes.

I will definitely repurchase!

It's a o.k. mascara. I bought brown. Not much volume and not much length either. This flaked towards the end of the day and the tube dried up really fast. Really weird brush, not much curve to it so it didn't really coat all the lashes. Won't be buying this again.

Bought this product after hearing all the great reviews. It was also on sale for $5 so I thought I might as well try it out. Somewhat lengthened my lashes, but didn't give me any volume, and couldn't hold a curl. It only smudged a tiny bit bit BUT flaked like crazy on me!!! I also still had clumps. I tried this twice and had the same results, if anything my first time using this mascara was better!

Finally!!! Where has this been all my life? New HG mascara for sure! (And I don't hardly say that about any products) I love everything about the brush and the formula is great too. I'm extremely picky when it comes to mascara, usually the ones everyone loves I hate (for instance loreal voluminous...awful! It was clump city haha) I already have pretty long and full lashes and I can't ever seem to achieve a soft look on my lashes like I can with this! It soft and natrual, but also buildable with no smudging of clumping! Yes! Finally! Props to cover girl on this one!

I think it is a very good product! I got mine in very black. In my opinion Cover Girl and Maybelline make some of the best drugstore mascaras out there. (depending on which product you use) I rotate between the 2 companies. Would absolutely repurchase this!

This a damn good mascara. The first CG mascara that I actually really enjoy. It's super black, no clumps (as it claims) it it amazing for the bottom lashes, and the brush is thin enough where it's not messy. The only thing I docked it for was the brush because its kind of prickly and sharp. Be CAREFUL not to jam it in your eyes. OUCH! I am used to the synthetic spooly so I kinda went hard handed :P great staying power and no smudging or flaking! this is one that I will buy over and over again!

Well tbh, I think this product is good! I like the simple packaging and look of the mascara! For me, this mascara is great for people with longer eyelashes and shorter eyelashes. Even though I don't have the longest eyelashes I still get a great look from this mascara. I can get volume and length! It's great! The thing is, is that I cannot guarentee for all! It's a hit or miss.

FINALLY a mascara that delivers, I seriously thought the day would never come! I will be stocking up, which is something I have never done with mascara, its that good.

My only con is...I wish it was more black. And its rather pricey here in Australia, but what isn't?

The irony here is that I've never had a real problem with mascaras clumping, yet I bought a specifically no-clump mascara, and it turned out to be the clumpiest one I've ever had! I found this mascara sort of thick and dry-ish to begin with, but was shocked to find that it clumped like crazy (for the first time ever, EVER, I had to separate my eyelashes to break the clumps up), tugged at my lashes while I was putting it on and flaked (I was brushing bits of it off my cheekbones after a few hours. It dried so hard and solid that I was afraid to touch my lashes until I had every molecule of this mascara off of them for fear that they would get pulled out as they were stuck so solidly together. Getting it off wasn't TOO terrible (beat wearing it anyway :)) but I did lose a few lashes in the process. I've loved every Cover Girl mascara I've had in the past, but I'm giving this one a giant F.
