Wow! Bare Escentuals now has a pressed powder blush now! It's in their Buxom line labeled "True Hue Blush" that was launched earlier this year! I love their lip glosses and while I was looking for a new shade, intrigued to see this attractively bright coral color. The black, sleek compact that comes with a good size mirror was impressive as well. I swatched this on my hand and it's just what I was looking for - a matte coral leaning towards orange that isn't chalky, no shimmer or sheen to it. But very natural looking. It's 5 grams and around $24. Kinda steep for me as I just purchased a Nars blush recently too. But oh so worth it!
What I really love is that it gives you a natural "True Hue" that makes you glow from within. I don't like to use that phrase generously but this does it for me. It's very smooth, creamy and blendable too. I have issues with some pores and at times my pinky, corally blushes turn red and patchy because my cheeks naturally turn flush later in the day! But this doesn't do that at all. It contains an ingredient called rhodiola, a plant that grows in the Arctic and that Buxom claims will make cheeks appear refreshed. It's without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, GMOS and synthetic fragrances. Try it out next time you're in Sephora. Hope it works you too!
