I did like these, initially. They were very sharp for the first couple of months and I actually preferred the smaller size.
But they got duller way too quickly, especially considering the price and the fact that I don't use them very often at all, I rarely ever even tweeze my eyebrows!
Then of course it became harder and harder to grab hairs properly and the hairs would also break quite a bit instead of come out easily.
I bought two pairs because I wanted to leave one of them at my bf's place, and the same happened with both - they were dull a lot quicker than I expected, after not even two months of very infrequent use!
All in all, very sharp initially, but now I'm thinking of getting the full size in hopes those will stay sharp for longer!
PS: Yes, they have a free sharpening service which is great, BUT it takes 4-6 weeks to get them back if you live in the US and even longer for me in the UK...

I had the full sized version for a couple of years until I recently lost them, went to buy a replacement pair only to find that they're $49.95 here (welcome to the joys of buying beauty products in australia!) so bought the mini pair (still $27!!!) to keep in my handbag/get me through until a full size pair that I bought online arrives.
The Mini tweezers are still above and beyond any of the cheaper tweezers I've ever owned, but not as good as the full sized version. Maybe it's my big hands, but I find them to be just a bit awkward to use - they're fine for just plucking that stray hair, but I wouldn't want to be really doing my eyebrows with them.
Still, they're super cute (I got polka dot ones!) and will make a good travel/handbag pair. But if you've never had tweezermans before, fork out the extra money for the full sized pair to get the full effect of their awesomeness!

I think that we can all agree that there is NOTHING worse than a hair that you cannot pluck because your tweezers suck and it keeps slipping through. I finally bit the bullet and purchased these tweezers (the mini version) for $11.50. They work extremely well and get every tiny little hair. It's true that they are very sharp, but that is an advantage when the hair is slightly ingrown.
I would definitely recommend these as a tiny investment, they are worth the hype.

WOW these tweezers are insanely sharp!!! I threw away the plastic tube case it came in because I stainless steel is pretty hard to damage, but I kept the rubber cover for the sharp tip. It is able to pluck all my fine brow hairs. I have very small hands so the mini fits perfect in my grip. It is very effective, high quality, sleek designed, and compact. Although it was about twice the cost of other tweezers, I plan on getting my money's worth by using these for many years to come. I'm very happy with this investment! :)

These are the sharpest and most precise tweezers I have ever used. I like the assorted colors, which make them easier to find when I inevitably set them down someplace I shouldn't. The case that they are supposed to be stored in is useless. I'd much prefer it if they came with a sleeve.

these are my favorite little tweezers. they are the cutest thing ever and they work soo well. to me they work even better than the original tweezerman ones, i feel like the grip is stronger on these because they're smaller. they're really handy to have and with all the cute designs i'm sure i'll buy a bunch more. don't hesitate to buy these seriously you'll have them forever and they're usually around 15. sometimes sephora will have them on sale if they're seasonal designs. i got the aspca paw print ones for 10 and the candy cane ones in a set with a 10X mirror for 14. seriously worth it!

These are the most amazing little tweezers ever! They grab every tiny hair and are very durable. I never have a problem plucking my brows with these because the grip is so great and my brows always look polished after every use. They are a bit on the pricey side, I got mine for about $15. Even better Tweezerman will sharpen them for you and they are really adorable. I you are thinking of getting these I would definently reconmend, they are worth every penny!

They are perfect for traveling. I put them in my make up bag and I’m good to go. The size is just perfect because it does not need much space at all, and they are as good as the big ones, and like the big ones, they stay sharp for a long time and can be sharpened as well. Mine is minty green and I love it!

OMG this is the first Tweezerman tweezers I own and I am amazed!
They pick up even the small, almost invisible hairs. Compared to my old tweezers, these are a million times better because they actually take out the hair (with root an all) instead of breaking it from skin surface. This way, I don't need to do my eyebrows that often, which is a relief.
I got this one in Boots with a discount, and it has a cute plastic tube to protect it. I'm planning to purchase a full size one as well!

Just in case you've never tried a top-notch tweezer, this is a somewhat cheaper way to find out that it can change your life. Frankly, I also prefer the smaller size, as it fits more comfortably in my hand, yet has all the magic grip of the so-called full size ones. As with all Tweezerman, there is free sharpening available, although mine seem to last and last, even though I need to use it every few days. The bottom line is I save money by fewer waxing sessions at the salon where I get my hair cut every 5-6 weeks. Mine was a pink polkadot version from Sephora which has the advantage of not being borrowed by SO, and it comes in a little tube with a cap, so I can keep it in my makeup pouch as it's the same overall size as a small mascara. Way recommended!

I love these tweezers. I bought the mini ones rather than the full size purely because these ones come in a little case, and for me it is essential that tweezers are protected. I had the larger size which worked brilliantly but lost both the cap and the case and so they eventually got damaged. The mini ones, though small, work just as well. They grab all the hairs very easily with minimal pulling. I couldn't imagine not having these. I love the pink case they come in too, very cute. If you do buy these, look after the cap and the case, they will make your tweezers last a lot longer! As for the price, I think I paid £10, which is well worth it for the quality. Would definitely buy again.

I purchased these tweezers to keep in my purse. I have naturally super light brows and I always end up missing a couple stray hairs when plucking, so having a pair on me all the time is a good idea. I love these! I have the original, full-size at home, which I love as well. They grab the tiniest, shortest hairs and removes them easily. Yes, they're expensive, but worth every penny.

I have used Tweezerman for years - my original pair have had it so I thought I would try the mini since the original full size did seem a little larger than necessary.
I am taking these Tweezerman Mini Tweezers back to Ulta ASAP, and I rarely return things! I am using the stainless steel slant tip mini (not Tweezer-ette). They do not grab! I don't know what changed but this is not the quality I expect.
I gave two lippies. One for the plastic cylindrical shield that is included. Another lippie for the stainless steel. That's it - no more lippies!
After all these years I think I will give Japonesque Ergonomic Tweezers a try.

UGH this is the only brand of tweezers I like but of course they're super expensive so the cheapest ones are these mini ones. They're great, very nice and sharp and the slant is perfect to catch every hard-to-get hair but it's so small that i feel like im working out each individual muscle in my hand, even the tiniest ones... it's weird lol. but great at doing what it should do, nonetheless

Great tweezers! Easy to use and very precise. I have them in light aqua, and they are adorable. I store them in the plastic tube for protection.
I mostly wanted to write a review for these because when I was trying to decide whether or not to purchase, I noticed the reviews were very divided. I finally realized that some people are confusing the Tweezerman mini tweezers with the Tweezerman tweezerette. THESE ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT!! The tweezerette is very blunt, similar to the average drugstore tweezer if not worse. It is hard to handle and barely grasps hairs. I received one as an extra in a swap and it was unusable. The mini tweezer, on the other hand, has the same sharpened tip as the full sized Tweezerman and works great, it's just smaller. If you are a tweezing junkie there is probably a noticeable difference + you probably want the big size for maximum comfort. But I have no problems handling the mini and would definitely repurchase if mine got lost. Just avoid the cheaper tweezerette, it is awful.
Hope that helps!
EDIT 2010: ok I'm giving this 4 stars, I find it easy to accidentally break off the hairs if I'm not careful. Wondering if it's the sharpness of the tweezer?

I bought these instead of the full-size ones, thinking they'd be easier to handle up close with a 10x mirror. They were about $3.00 at Walmart, and came with a cute slip case to keep them in. Although the size was easier to work with, they didn't grasp hairs as well as the full-size tweezers did.
