I absolutely love this stuff. I get lazy when it comes to lotion I'll be honest. I have different brands and scents in my bath room. I can't get enough of this Body Butter though. The scent is amazing. It has this coconut scent mixed with this warm vanilla Shea butter type scent. It isn't too sweet smelling. It moisturizes nicely without being greasy. It soaks into the skin fast and real hydrates. I can't stop using this. I put it on at least twice a day. Love this stuff plus it's cheap. I know I'll be sticking up for winter when my skin gets really dry

I can't believe that I am just now discovering this luxurious gem. I've passed it by so many times in Trader Joe's. It's a good price so I thought I'd try it, if I didn't like it, hey, at least I didn't spend a fortune on it. This stuff is amazing. The smell is like a coconut vanilla frosting! The consistency is fluffy & creamy and it glides on nicely. Usually, I am so lazy to apply lotion all over, but this feels like a treat! The smell also lasts, and I get complimented all of the time. My only con is that I wish the moisturization factor would last longer. Of course, I have dry skin so it may just be me. I can't wait till the pumpkin body butter comes out in the fall.

I really wanted to love this stuff after reading about it but the smell is the biggest downside to me. I love coconut everything, and even lather myself in coconut oil on occasion and I just feel like this smells absolutely nothing like coconut. it reeks of a cheap vanilla candle when you put it on. the hydrating aspect is okay, nothing to write home about. I just can't get over the smell. not what I was expecting.

This is just an excellent product. I find it really sinks in to my skin, and is very hydrating, but not greasy feeling. I love the texture and consistency, so soft and lovely smelling. If you love the scent of coconut, you have to try this. You get a good size tub, and as I recall the price was only around five dollars. This was my first beauty product purchased at Trader Joe's. I must go back and see what else they have because this was just so good.

I love this stuff! My mom had purchased this for herself but I had to keep it for myself. It has a great, whipped consistency. It's thick and fairly moisturizing without being sticky or oily. For me, it's best in the winter, when my skin tends to dry out more than usual, or for especially dry spots. I'll definitely repurchase this when I run out.

I love coconut, I love TJ's, I love the 70's packaging, great price etc. but this did not work for me at all. Felt sticky, didn't really sink in and the smell made me nauseous. Some weird underlying smell just put me off completely.

I love picking this up once in a while when I'm at TJ's. The texture is heavenly and it smells so tropical and mellow. I find it is super moisturizing and use it primarily at night. It has a great, whipped texture that I absolutely love. Definitely worth a try!

So.. I love the texture, consistency, and moisturizing power, but I had to wash it off after a half hour because I could not stand the smell. Sniffing the jar gives me a coconut-y, buttery, vanilla-y yumminess. But on (clean) skin? It's like... the smell of a really busy and not very well maintained tanning salon, or an old car with used take-out containers in the back seat and one of those dangling coconut-scented pine trees hanging from the rear view mirror.

There must be some dang nasty chemistry happening with my ph, given everyone else's great reviews. I've stirred in several drops of vanilla and peppermint scented oil in the hope of salvaging it as a foot cream--we'll see!

This stuff is almost heaven in a jar. It could be a bit more moisturizing but I can seal it with vaseline. I will repurchase again.
