Basically an okay product, not bad but not great either. The colors look beautiful in the palette together and they look great on. Unfortunately, the shadows themselves are not very pigmented and way too powdery. I used a couple of different kinds of brushes and found that actually the best brush to use is the little spongey brush from the palette! However, you still end up with a lot of loose powder in the palette you have to blow away. You have to use quite a bit of product to get a denser shadow look as well. I'll use this one up because I love the colors, although I wish the gray color were more shimmery than sparkly, but probably will not buy it or any of the other ColorStay eye shadow palettes again. I remember them having a much better, denser, more creamy eye shadow formula, don't like this new formula at all.

Many of the reviews I've read for these 16 hour eye shadows have been negative, but I've found that these eye shadows are very pigmented and long lasting. The Precocious quad contains silver, dark gray/charcoal, mauve, and purple eyeshadows. I use the silver as the highlight, the mauve as a lid color, and the purple as a crease color. I haven't tried the darkest color, yet, but the others are fantastic.
These go on very smoothly and the pigment is great. I sometimes pile on the drugstore eye shadows because of pigment issues, but with these shadows, there is no need, and they last all day and into the evening. A couple of the colors look a little glittery in the pan (glitter in eye shadows drives me nuts), but show up shimmery. I'm looking forward to purchasing more of these quads.
