My mom got this in Finale, it didn't look like she tried it on so I did and it didn't take long to realize that this sucked. I feel bad that my mom spent so much money on a crappy lipstick. It's sticky and tacky even when it dries. It looked patchy on my lips and was made worse every time I licked or pursed or rolled my lips (together). I didn't mind not seeing shine but that just exaggerated the dry formula. None of it seemed hydrating, even applying the lipstick didn't feel good. It's too bad. I really liked the color, and because I didn't see a shine, it looked like an awesome stain! Unfortunately the formula was just too horrible to deal with.

Not a fan. Somehow this lipstick, which looks quite pretty in the tube, manages to be both sheer AND drying-- not quite sure how they managed that feat. It emphasizes the lines in your lips creating an unflattering finish. To add to its drawbacks, it tends to change color on, (oxidize?), and becomes a more garish orange. I guess you get what you pay for, (or not, as the case may be).

Very unflattering finish. Personally I found this made my lips look dry and lined. The finish is fairly sheer for a long wear lipstick and even after it dries the lips feel tacky when they press together. I find it wears quite unevenly. The longer I have it on the more it looks patchy and lined. Some of the colours are good but the overall look is very unflattering. Sorry Revlon, you've lost me with some of your latest offerings.

I have this in Finale. And it's my very first red lipstick. It leans towards the warm spectrum of reds. Overall, I think it's a decent lipstick but there are better ones out there. It is the 2nd most drying lipstick I have in my lot.

Pigmentation wise, I have to build 2 layers to get the full opaque red but I don't mind this because I'm not that courageous yet to wear red lipsticks out. (Especially since I still have school)

Finish: It applies on with a creme finish, but dries down to a matte finish. And I noticed that it will become a little sticky/tacky after the drydown. (Maybe because of its longwearing properties)

I'm not overly impressed with the finish, but I'm glad to have it in my stash because it's so longwearing and gloss is my solution to fix the stickiness and makes it less drying too.

Funny, I adore this product! It seems you love it or hate it. I'm a huge lip product junkie and don't mind splurging on good quality stuff if it's worth it. I have a big problem with lasting power, though, and find most long-wear claims don't hold up. This is an anomaly and it beats pricier products like Dior, Armani and Lancome for me. It's what I wished Estee Lauder Double Wear lipstick or MAC Pro Longwear would be. It's a bizarre, unnoticeable texture when I put it on lightly- almost exactly like my lips, but slightly more moisturized. It never collects in creases, never fades unevenly and stains my lips ALL day. Most stains last about an hour or less. It's the ultimate busy workday product- put it on and forget about it all day. I have Supermodel, a subtle mauvey-purple and Backstage, a reddish berry. In comparison to something like Bite's High Pigment Pencil, it deposits much less product, can be layered better for intensity and almost dyes your lips for hours instead of the pigment being in the substance (if that makes sense). I love this and will investigate more shades!

I absolutely love this product and I am on the lookout to purchase more from this collection.

"I have grown to love not only the colour , but the texture and the last power - Having to find all of these traits in a lipstick is truly rare, especially within a drugstore product. This has definitely made it into my holy grail lipsticks from the drugstore and rest assure that this might not be the only colour I purchase! " - Taken from our blog

The lasting powder is beyond amazing ( proof over on our blog w/ images)

I really love the colors and the ease of application. The one thing that I don’t like about this is that it is very drying. My lips are not chapped and not dry, BUT this made my lips look horrible. I tried it sooo many times because I really wanted to like it but no matter what I do, I still end up with unflaterring dry lips. I exfoliated, used vaseline on my lips every night and applied the lipstick over a light coat of lip balm and STILL didn’t work. It is now in my drawer collecting dust.

I had high hopes for this lipstick..especially at $32 NZD.. I read sooo many good reviews and decided to get this instead of the lipstains.. boy was I wrong.
I got the hot pink "seduce" colour. I thought that as it was a darker colour, it would last longer. No.
I have tried it for a few weeks and it continually just flakes off my lips.
I will put my lippy on in the morning before work at around 7am. By the time I arrive at work, have some cereal for breakfast, bits of lipstick were floating in my left over milk. I look at myself after I eat and half of the lippy is gone! This is after less than 2hrs wear on a supposedly FOOD PROOF lipstick!!!
I reapply at this point and looks ok again for a while but lips go extremely dry and doesnt last longer than another 2hrs.

Super disappointed, especially because it was so expensive :( Maybe its just the shade I bought? I have no idea.

I loved the revlon colourstay soft & smooth lipsticks that they discontinued. I still have one of those in a light pink shade, and it lasts on my lips longer than this even though this is dark!

Sad. Wish I could get a refund.

Purchased shades Silhouette and Couture.

I really love that this lipstick did not dry out or chap my lips. This lipstick did do is kept my lips hydrated, and the color lasted for hours.

Definitely will purchase more shades.

I was not impressed with this lipstick. I was very excited to buy it, as the ad for it said that it was food proof and very moisturizing, and also matte; turns out, it's terrible!

First of all, the pigmentation isn't too great. It's okay, not really the best. I'd give it a 6/10.

Secondly, the consistency of the lipstick SUCKS. It does not spread well, and does not absorb into your lips AT ALL. It just sit's there! I tried applying it about 4 times and it still did not cover every inch of my lips, as it should have. It barley even looked like I was wearing anything.

On the plus side, it didn't dry out my lips nor did it feel waxy or heavy. Overall, don't buy it. It's way too exaggerated and really not that great. I personally recommend the Clinique chubby sticks.

I was expecting "matte" when I saw "suede" on the label, but this is more like a gel stain. It doesn't offer the same pigmentation as a matte lipstick, but it doesn't dry out my lips and the stain lasts most of the day. A little disappointed but I don't dislike it. I got two colors, and both of them are lighter on my lips than I expected. I picked these up at CVS, since they are BOGO 1/2 off, plus there are $1 Revlon coupons floating around, and $3 coupons printing out of the red box when you scan your card, so I got both for $4 with tax, and I got a $5 ECB reward, too! Great deal.

Revlon discontinued a lipstick by the same name, but different packaging. I LOVED IT ! I was told that it was discontinued and this "Ultimate Suede 055" was similar. I put it on and not only does the color change, but it didn't last. By the time I got to work this morning (20 minute drive) it faded and had to re-apply. It's now 12:43pm and it's has faded. I have NEVER returned a cosmetic I used...but this time I will. I wish Revlon would bring back the original Colorstay lipstick in the long lack tube. It went on as a smooth matte and even lasted through lunch.

wow this lippy definitely has staying power! I bought the color 'Finale' which I actually really like. It's a bright red and it looks lovely and velvety when it is first applied, and goes well with a clear gloss on top. When it eventually fades, it leaves a pale red stain on my lips, which is good. It's not moisturizing, but I wouldn't expect that from such a long wearing lipstick. I didn't feel that it made my lips appear too dry or at all cracked. The color range is great and I will likely buy more.

I have this in Front Row, which is a beautifully warm-toned pink with a hint of peach. I love the shade and hoped this would be a moisturizing tinted lip product. Nope. This has the WEIRDEST texture. It reminds me of a gel-based blush, NOT a lip product. It just sits on top of the lips, never sinking in. It dries and pills and tugs when being applied. It's okay over a lip balm but isn't useful, since the pigment isn't enough to show up over another clear balm. Useless. Drying. Doesn't feel good. Obviously not recommended.

This review is ONLY for the colour 070, "Preview". It's a medium pink and I'm loving it. I can tell by the terrible reviews here that the different shades must behave very inconsistently. I wasn't going to try these lipsticks at all -- the "Suede" nomenclature isn't appealing -- but I remember loving my one tube of the old Colorstay lipstick, so I took a chance. This new version is similar, at least in the colour I have. The texture is very light and smooth, and once on the lips it feels like nothing at all. The colour stays true for hours, and when the surface layer does wear off, there's a light and even stain so that my lips still don't look naked. I like the faint hint of shimmer, which keeps this from looking too dry, and the neutral-toned pink is just a hint brighter than MLBB on my fairly pigmented lips, so it goes with everything.

It's a perfect grab-and-go lip for a busy day, since it looks fine for much longer than anything else I own other than the two-stage permanent paint-style liquid lipsticks (Pro Longwear & its clones). Love it!

I wish I liked this. The colours are great. The finishing, interesting. The big drawbacks are: drying, unflattering on the slightest sign of dry lips, as it dries the hell out of them, after a few minutes it becomes patchy on the wet line inside the outer lips - I've tried everything to make it look good. It stays long, but not in a pretty way. I got it in Flashing Lights; and too bad I cannot return it because i won't be using this again. I'll pass it to someone else as a warning...

Picked this up in "flashing lights" which is a pinky peach shade that applies fairly sheer but can be layered for a bit more colour. I found that this lipstick lasts a lot longer than others but it's quite drying and tends to pill on the lips after a while. Would not repurchase.

I also found this product very drying. I thought the color I purchased was more a dark pink (couture) but it's really just red on me and not a very pretty red. It does stain your lips, which I like. I wore it with lip gloss (Lancome Juicy Tubes) on top and it lasted a long time. I already used mine, so I won't return it, but I won't buy any more colors either. I happened to have two coupons for this lipstick, so it was less than $3 for me to purchase.

I have had these on my list for a long time. I had committed to a lipstick (Clinique Butter Shine in Crushed Grape) but I just had to stray when I saw stay-put power without a gloss. I bought Supermodel last night and it is the only drugstore color that has suited me without trying it first! I love it.

I have an uneven top lip and have to draw on half the bow with a liner, so I am hesitant to do that without guarantee staying power. I drew on the bow at 7am and it is nearly 10am with no smudging or straying. The color is MLBB. Yes it is matte, but as long as you moisturize well the night before and exfoliate in the morning with a washcloth, you should be good to go.

I am on the job market and giving a ton of conference presentations with looooong days, and I need something that can hold up without retouching. This does the trick. Yes it is drier than most lipsticks, but not unbearably so. And I didn't put balm on before putting it on. I am fine. Really happy with the color selection, though. I may try a darker one since this one is more MLBB nude/mauve (works well with pasty skin :) ) But I have to say I am going to also check out the Wet n Wild Megalasts for their color selection and prices next time I am out.

Love the applicator and click-to-use mechanism, and that you can see the color of the product in the cap.

This works great with the nude Milani lipliner. I am really happy to have nice looking lips with this! I will definitely use this for formal or professional events.
