This stuff is SO EXPENSIVE, but damnit... it works. It works really well. This is the highest concentration of BHA i've ever been able to find in "treatment" form. I've been using 2% and 3% variations by PC and other brands, so my skin is used to the ingredient. I didn't have any issues jumping to a higher concentration, but heads up if you've never used a BHA before. You might want to start small and work your way up. If you already have an acid toning regimen, bite the bullet and buy this stuff. You won't be disappointed!$10 OFF the Paula's Choice website using this link: https://goo.gl/CLXkGf - it's legit. No catch! :)

I wish I didn't love this, but I do. It's expensive ($42) but....wow! I use this 3 nights a week on the area under my eyes, as I have a small amount of milia that drives me nuts. This product has not *cured* the millia (yet), but I have noticed a significant decrease in the visibility of it. I also have enlarged pores on my nose and I put this on my nose and the sides of my nose the same 3 nights a week. It has done wonders and clearing out my pores and making them appear smaller. The packaging is not my fave, as if you push the pump all the way down way too much product come out. A little goes a LONG way, so I just barely tap the pump to dispense a small amount on the back of my hand, so that I don't waste any (did I mention it was pricey?). It's an oily-ish product that takes a while to sink in, but I haven't experienced any irritation while using it. The results have been worth the price tag for me. I would recommend it to anyone with minor/major skin issues. Also, I had a spot pop up the other day and I spot treated it with this product and it was gone by morning (YMMV). Due to how little you need to treat your skin, it should last for a really long time.

Goddammit. Why does such a pricey product (especially for the small amount of product you get) have to be so effective? If you don't have major skin problems, this isn't for you. But for me, I battle breakouts and ton of red scaring and bumps on my chin and jawline. I really don't get much active acne elsewhere, but my lower cheek and jaw is very severe. Using this everyday (personally my skin has never reacted to it, even with everyday use, but I think I'm in the minority), I have absolutely noticed a fading in my red marks and scars. There's no doubt about it. It hasn't been a subtle change either- the area is much smoother, and the scars have dramatically faded. It hasn't resolved completely- a girl with perfectly clear skin might still see my lower jaw and think it looks awful, but for me, the change has been wonderful. Makeup lays so much nicer on that area too, with the improved texture. My one small complaint is the packaging- I wish the pump were able to dispense smaller amounts of products. But you can't really control it, and it's a bit wasteful to get half a pump when you just wanted a tiny bit more. The bummer is, I'm almost out, and really don't want to shell out the dollars for a new tube. And even worse for my wallet, there are other products from Paula's Choice I'm now curious to try.

I love paula's choice, I hate this. I have very oily skin which is why I use a bha so often to begin with. The silicone type texture of this product just adds to the slip of my face. I can't layer it under makeup, hate using it at night, and have never found a good application for it. This is advertised as a "9" but according to her team has a time release effect and you are actually not getting 9% all at once but a closer percent to her other products.I prefer her retexturizing foam or bha liquid products instead. Unfortunately, the foam has an odor otherwise it would be my preferred bha. I have also used her spray with some success but find that I have terrible aim lol. I have also done well with MAUC's 3% and 8% sacilyic acid but feel I can't confidently recommend these products because of the high alcohol content. However, as BHA's I notice a significant reduction in blackheads and oil after using...more so than paula's choice products without alcohol so......

I've only used the sample of this one, but so far I am quite liking it. I would definitely recommend using the sample first just to see if your skin reacts to it, because it's very potent. I've been using it every night for about a week by spreading it around my trouble spots. I haven't seen a /huge/ difference in the black heads on my nose (but I've only been using it there for 2 days), but they're already lighter. I spread it beneath my eyes, my forehead, and chin, and I've had no breakouts and it almost immediately got rid of the ones I had. This is very greasy, almost like baby oil, which was interesting but it probably won't break you out. I would only use this at night because it's so potent, and the first morning after I used it I woke up to little spots of blood in the areas I'd applied it. By the morning it's entirely dry, and the blood washed away when I washed my face. There was no pain, and this hasn't happened since. It does make parts of my skin very red, but her clinical red reducer gets rid of it easily (and I've been using the sample size for so long.) I think this is worth looking into if you've been battling blackhead because I had a ton along my forehead, cheeks, and chin, and in only three days of using it at night they are almost entirely gone! You can get $10 off with this link http://goo.gl/mlJdKK because this wonderful product is also ridiculously pricey.

This stuff is AMAZING. Here's the deal.. I've been realizing that I hate the way foundation looks caked all over skin and the fact that at the end of the day it gets all oily and gross! My friends never wear foundation and their skin looks amazing so healthy, so nice.I have pretty clear skin but I have a lot of breakouts now because I've been wearing a lot of foundation lately. I realized I want to go makeup free but that's wasn't happening while I still had some blemishes. Bottom line I started using this stuff and overnight saw a DRAMATIC difference! Pimples gone!! I don't wear foundation on my face anymore just some mascara when i feel it's needed and this stuff is my holy grail! Anytime I see a pimple pop up I immediately turn to this and it's gone by the next morning please give it a try buy the sample first or just go for it becasue I know you'll love it! There's a refer a friend discount for $10 off your order of any price! All you do it apply this code at checkout! :) https://goo.gl/Ok7On7

First, can I say how darn expensive this product is??? It took me SUCH A LONG TIME before I finally bit the bullet and bought the sample (yes, just the sample) but it is SO worth it.I've had 3 spots on my cheek that refused to go away for over a year now. They initially started off as pimples/acne, but after the acne subsided, the bumps refused to flatten out. I would try popping them (I know I shouldn't) and so did my facial therapist, but to no avail. They had been annoying the heck out of me for months, especially since they were near by eyes and nose and each time I looked into the mirror I'd see these bumps. Not cool.Basically I used this over 3 consecutive nights on the troubled spots and by the first usage, it had flattened out overnight. It has continued flattening out after 3 nights and I will continue to use it. Really pleased since it has worked so well on something that has irritated me for the longest time. I've also started using this on an old mark/spot on my nose which has been there for at least 7 years and refused to go away no matter how many times I popped it. I've even undergone a derm procedure in an attempt to remove it and while it helped slightly, it was still prominent. It's been one use and I already see improvement. Will report back.Texture-wise, it is VERY slippery (i.e. oily) and it kind of leaves "droplets" that look like condensation (as another reviewer described it) on my face even after rubbing it in. I use it at night so it doesn't bother me. It's not hard to wash off in the morning. Won't use this in the day that it's strange to use it under makeup with such a texture.Final verdict: BUY IT. Use sparingly, but it's worth the investment. I am going to purchase the full sized version.

This product reduced my pores like nobody's business. it also completely removed several milia. It is pricey and the packaging is awful but it will remain part of my skincare regime because it's just so damn good.

I'm so excited about this products that I almost dont know where to start. I'll try to relax.Cons: NOTE: these almost dont matter because the product is so good. -You get so so little for the price. The good thing is you can buy it a dermstore.com or paula's choice's website for 20-30% off and using ebates you can get up to 42% off. I never ever buy this full price. -It's hard to control how much product you're getting out which is problematic because this product is marketed mostly as a spot treatment to be used sparingly or as needed. -Can be harsh for first time users and gave me a very slight itchiness the first few times I used it. Take a patch test, please!-This is awkward to wear under makeup so I only use at night. -Texture is weird because it can kind of condense on your skin. I pat it in and then in another 15 minutes I have to pat it in again. I don't know how else to explain it but it's a small price to pay for such results.Pros:-Works on discoloration, small scars, bumps, milia, acne, blackheads & wrinkles (but I dont use it for the later even though I see some difference in smoothness of my skin.)-Works QUICKLY. I see significant results overnight. My red spots are less red (BHA is anti-inflammatory made from the same stuff you use to remove inflammation inside your body with aspirin)-If I use this a couple of times a week I find that my face is almost constantly clear & it actually helps with my acne marks. -Works incredibly well with other exfoliants & seems to be the final push to better skin. I use AHAs almost every night and sometimes I find that I plateau with them. AHAs work on the surface of the skin but BHA (this product) works deep inside the pore which makes it so amazing for acne. The BHA helps the AHA get in a little deeper and together they make a dynamite duo.-Doesn't seem to bring my marks to a head. Most of my BHA products push the pimple to the surface and although that looks unpleasant it's really the fact that it looks so tempting to pop that bothers me. This isn't the case with this product. I find that my marks just look smaller, less red, less angry.-Easy to travel with. This is marketed for small areas but I can't help but use this all over 1-3 times a week. I love to use it more often to give my skin a boost once a month and then use it as needed or once a week until the next time I give my skin a boost. It's so expensive to use it like that but it's one of the few things that consistently gives me great results. I used 8% and 15% salicylic acid peels and this is much easier to use and more effective from what I see. My skin is resilient and it's hard to find something that's tough enough but not harsh and harmful. This kicks acne ass. It has helped my very stubborn blackheads on my chin, the dead and acneic skin that builds up on the side of nose from wearing glasses all day, and it also creates a better canvas for my AHA to penetrate better. It's hard to find a product that not only works amazingly on its own but is so good that it improves other products as well. I will 100% buy this and keep buying it until they stop making it. I pray they never do.

I had a stubborn milia spot on my cheek that just wouldn't go away, and after about a year of dealing with it I found a 20% off sale on this product, so I took a chance on it. Within 48 hours not only was the spot gone, but you couldn't even tell it had ever been there. Such results count as a minor miracle in my book. It also helps with clearing stubborn pores on my nose and making them appear smaller. The only things I can fault it for are these: The price, and the fact that enough comes out of the container with one pump that I can cover half my face with it. I understand that Paula's Choice is working on changing the packaging so that doesn't happen in the future.
