I recently lost my only Aria and I'm very upset. This color is great for my collection because it offers a nice matte base to all of my neutral smoky eyes. Though I understand this looks dull and sandy from afar, I don't regret buying this at all. I wish MAC hadn't discontinued it.

Aria is a gorgeous neutral. It can look boring on first glance, but I equate this color to my favorite pair of black pants. Are they original or daring? No. But they always look great when I wear them and if I am ever having debates over what to wear, I can turn to them. That's love people! Aria is a neutral taupe-y brown. Even if you think you hate neutral shadows, you should try it anyway. You may be surprised.

Why did they discontinue this color? It was the best all around wear everyday neutral. They don't have anything else as good now.

Have one unopened container left. Couldn't bring myself to buy 3 other colors I did not like when it was re-released in the Raquel Welch quad. Wish we could organize a write in campaign :)

Aria is one of those MAC shadows I had lying around unused for some reason. When I saw MAC re-released it in a quad for their Raquel Welch Icon Collection, I thought, "Hmmnnnn... this looks like a nice shade. Let me give it a try." Well, makes me wonder why I never used it before! This shade is fabulous for the crease, or for light-duty eyelining! Nice, natural, taupey-brown shade that is great for a daytime look. I used it with MAC [pigment] Provence as a wash, Aria in the crease and outer corners, and MAC Smut to line under bottom lashes. If you are looking for a nice, natural, neutral crease color, now is your chance to buy Aria in the newest released eyeshadow quad. (I don't think Aria is available as a single e/s anymore, so get it in the LE quad!)

This taupey-brown is the perfect sheer powder for my light ashy-brown brows! I'm sorry it was discontinued. It's also a nice neutral, matte brown for lining eyes or adding depth to the crease.

This is a neutral taupe/brown which I wear practically every day as a liner. I wear a pencil liner along my top lash line and I use this to set it so it lasts all day. It is also a good crease shade. I am a warm-toned PPP btw.

I would buy this again, but Mac discontinued this colour. Very unhappy that I can't get this one any more.

Aria is a basic brown which looks boring on me. The formula blends easily and lasts well, but I wouldn't repurchase this colour. Me: N1/NC15, blue eyes, blonde hair.

This is great for a natural eye look! I wear this in the crease with Brule as a wash and looks very pretty on my blue eyes. I like it when my blue eyes are the focus not my eye makeup, this is perfect for that! Love it and will buy again!

This is the most perfect crease shade I have ever found. Will repurchase over and over again. NW15, red, blue. EDIT: This doesn't blend so well when I try it for my whole lid, so I won't repurchase, just try to find something else the same color.

this is a beautiful shade and perfect if you are going for a natural daytime look. its a pretty beige-brown that i believe will look pretty on any skin tone. in order to bring more depth to the eye, you can put add more layers of color to your crease.

I call this natural with a kick. I received this as a present from my younger brother for Christmas. I love it..somedays when I'm really going for a natural look. I wet an angle brush and put this on as liner.

I bought this to use as brow powder but ended up using it more on lids. It is so easy to use, very subtle and very nice for lighter skin, and fabulous for green eyes. This is what I grab when I don't want to think about it too much.

Aria is one of my staples. For me (pale) it is one of the most basic brown colors I can wear over the whole lid or on outer lid & crease for a little darker look. It is mild enough of a brown to not be too dark or overpowering - does not make a good liner or for more intense looks, but a great day look!
