This grew on me! It's a true stain, so apply carefully. Looks great with my complexion. I really like the minty scent, too.

I'm someone who loves the idea of wearing red but never have the guts to actually do it. Therefore I wanted to try something that was a bit more forgiving such as a balm stain and having recently purchased the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in "Rendezvous" which i ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE WITH, i decided to try it in the color Adore, and i am SO THRILLED with it. This red is gorgeous and stays on forever. It makes your teeth look pearly white too! I can't see this color not working for anyone. I suggest wearing a red liner underneath it so the lip stain doesn't bleed outside of the lines of your lips. An affordable lip liner option would be the Revlon ColorStay lipliner in the color "red". It is a perfect compliment to the balm stain.

I'm a huge fan of the golden brown-ish color, so I love this one. Applies like a balm and doesn't require a very precise hand (which I consider a plus) Moisturizes lips quite well. Doesn't stain as much as an actual lip stain would, though (that can be good, though, if you don't like the dramatic look)

The smell is minty, which I like, and the tip of the balm is wide which allows for easy and consistent application. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy this product :)

Very pleasant sheer "bricky" red. I would say its more golden than orange, if that makes sense. Very warm, but not overpowering on NC15 skin. Perfect night out stain/lipstick that doesn't require a delicate hand when applying. The color builds beautifully. Quite possibly my favorite of the Just Bitten line.

This was my first experience with a kissable balm stain and I am impressed beyond belief! I wanted something quick and easy that wouldn't wear off after an hour or so and I'd heard really good things so I decided to pick one up. I chose Adore which is this pretty deep orangey-toned red. My skin tone is neutral but my hair has golden tones in it so this color was surprisingly flattering on me. I tried it out for the first time today so I put it on before meeting my boyfriend for breakfast and it was still on after we ate. The color was still just as bright and intense as when I first put it on. Mind, I have very pigmented lips to start with so the wear-off may not have been as noticeable on me but I'm still blown away by this product. I want to buy every color!!!

Very pretty bricky, berry red color. Looks pretty topped with clear gloss. There is some shimmer in there, which along with the minty smell, occasionally gets on my nerves, but it is nice for a night out. Expensive for the amount of product you get in the tube.

Overrated. The formula does not last on my lips at all and none of the colors seem to look good on my skintone. which was frustrating.

Also, they really didn't "stain" my lips. It was more like a colored chapstick if anything.

Background: NC20/25, and I also have this in honey. I failed to read these reviews before buying the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Adore. I wanted a more of a dark rose tone, but Adore, like most of the ladies have mentioned, has is a bit orangey. With that said, I still like it on the more dramatic days. The first 2-3 hours is a little much fore me. However, when it stains it ends up being just a bit brighter, healthier shade than my natural lip color. I would say it's more like a 3 1/2 lippie for me because the color was not what I expected since the color of the cap looks nothing like the actual color. I probably would return this if Target had a return policy. Although this one is nice to keep around for when I'm traveling or roaming about when I don't have time to reapply. The "balm" part is nice. It doesn't make my lips peel (which is very common with lasting lippies for me).
PROS: Nice stain color.
Nice texture.
Nice gold shimmer.
Lasts.
Doesn't dry out your lips.
Buildable color.
CONS: Color is a bit dramatic when first applied
For every day application, I prefer Honey.
Color on a bit of the orange side.

Like the reviewer below stated you really only need a light hand and stay within your natural lip line. I appreciate this shade so much for how it makes my eyes pop. If your eyes are a golden medium brown you must try out Adore. My lips have a lot of pigment to them and cool blue shades don't mix well with my skintone.

The only other Balm Stains I like are Honey and Darling, and I have all of them except Crush.

I love it. I only apply a light layer of it to have a sheer warm tone orangey red that will not make me look old. If you keep adding more coats, it will turn out a brick orangey brown red so keep it light.

I'm Asian NC25/30 with yellow undertones. The color upon initial application is gorgeous on me! The product DID last a long time however it morphed into an ugly orange/reddish color. It did not look good.

Don't care for the color on me. It's a mid-tone red w/ gold shimmer. Would probably look great on dark and yellow tone complexions.

These are my FAVORITE lip product. They are comfortable on the lips. Smell nice. No unpleasant taste. The best part is they ACTUALLY STAIN MY LIPS! All over stains I've tried not only dry the hell out of my lips and are uncomfortable, but they don't stain.

Truthfully, I expected this colour to come out a little differently. But I don't hate it. And I'm not fond of glossy/shiny lips, which this does a bit of (obviously, since it's a balm).
But, that's all my fault. I probably should've chosen a differently colour or something. Because, I think this is a wonderful product overall. I own another one in the colour 'Honey' and I love it!!!! And also, the stain stays on for a long time which is pretty awesome too.
Not the right colour choice for me, but I do recommend it!

This colour is great for a red lips look :) I'm new to lip products and I think that these Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains are really good to get into it. These were about $17.95 in Australia which is pretty pricey since in America they're super cheap. These lip stains aren't THAT moisturising for me but that isn't a big deal to me. The smell of it also isn't pleasant for me but I can live. :) The stain these leave on really are quite long-lasting and give you like a natural/matte look to your lips. Get this colour if you want a deep/bright red lips look!

This product is okay. The formula is decent: it is moderately moisturizing; feels nice on the lips; and lasts a decent amount of time. It fades somewhat evenly, but there is still a slight ring of colour around the outer portion of my lips after a while.

My problem with this product is the colour. There weren't any testers where I bought mine so I didn't try it out first. I wanted a wearable berry shade. This shade is definitely not that. It is a very orangey red that fades to a very unflattering shade of orange. I did not find the colour of the tube for this product to be representative of the colour of the product at all.

Therefore, I would not recommend this shade.

I LOVE this product! This is a non-drying lip stain. This color looks great on me. It's a "very wearable red" (on me). Once some of the glossiness/color wears off it leaves a beautiful just enough red color on my lips. This can be applied once in the beginning of the day and then touched up if you are going out at night.
Love it!!
This is my favorite Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm stain color.

This is way better than the Clinique Chubby Sticks and the Tarte Lip Surgence. Those two came first I know, but they are more glossy and have a light tint to them. These, on the other hand, have a lot of pigmentation. It's very easy to apply the way the stick is made. Another thing I like is that they last on the lips for a long time without budging and you don't have to worry about sharpening the pencil. It just twists up. And they are not drying to the lips; which I actually thought would happen as most stains do that. There are a lot of good colors to choose from as well. "Adore" is perfect for Fall/Winter 2012 going by what's in style for the season.

I gave this a four because I dont feel it is moisturizing. It does not dry out my lips as bad as other products, but compared to the Tarte Lipsurgence this seems to settle more into the lines after a few hours. Now if I were rating this on color alone, I would give this 5 lippies. I have been searching for a nice darker reddish color. It is a brown red, almost orangey but it is very flattering with my skintone NC25 - 30ish. I do like the way these feel when initally putting them on but after a few hours my lips feel dry. The color does last for a few hours as well. It does not transfer easily which is good. For the price these are great. I just feel these could be more moisturizing.

IF this ever did run out, I don't think I'd be dying to repurchase. It does dry my lips out after the day is through, even though the stain does last all day and it's REALLY moisturizing upon first application. After a while the stain settles into the lines of my lips and that's when I start scrubbing it off (along with the layer of dead skin it creates). I tried protecting my lip with Blistex but that didn't really work either. Also, when it's first applied, it an orangey brown with gold shimmer and I'm not really a fan of shimmer. When the shimmer wears off you're left with a great red toned lip, but, even so... I don't like my lips feeling this dry.

I want this to be my HG lip product, but it falls a little short. I tried four different colors and none of them were great. I gave this a better rating than the others, because it is the only color that looks ok on me when used alone. if I use a very light layer, it winds up looking like peachy-pink on me, which looks nice with my neutral freckly skin. However, if I go to put a second coat on, it becomes way too orangey brown on me.

If I mix Crush with Adore (using just a tiny bit of each so it's not too dark), I get an almost perfect neutral rose color, but I really don't like having to mix two lipsticks all the time.

Pros: the stain it leaves behind is really long lasting. plus, it usually wears off nice and even unless my lips are super dry. it wears off WAY more evenly than any other lip stain I've ever tried. so it could have been my HG stain! BUT...

Cons: when I wear Adore alone, sometimes the stain part can turn a weird coral color on me. but it's unpredictable, it doesn't happen every time. I would prefer a more neutral rose stain. this just ends up too bright. If I mix it with Crush, the stain it leaves behind is closer to a neutral rose, but still too much on the bright side.

also, it seems like a nice balm (like burt's bees classic lip balm) but does not actually seem to really keep the lips hydrated.

Hopefully Revlon will continue to perfect this product -- they have almost nailed it. Revlon: please keep trying! I might buy this product again, but probably only if Revlon puts out new colors.
