I am not sure what to say about this product. I think it does a pretty good job of waterproofing my mascara, though I have never tried swimming with it on or anything. It doesn't weigh down the curl on my asian lashes (normally I have to buy waterproof formulas to hold a curl and ward off under-eye smudges). BUT... it makes my lashes look gray! Since I have black hair, I always go with the blackest mascara possible and a coat of this over my lashes always makes them look a little ashy. I don't think I will buy it again, but I will say that I like using it on my lower lashes because that is where I experience the most smudging and the slight gray cast doesn't bother me as much on the lower lashes.

I love this. This is an absolute Top 5 I can never be without product. It 100% delivers on converting smeary, wet mascaras into absolute smudgefree formulas with all day (12-14 hour) endurance. I am actually mad I threw away so many mascaras before I discovered this. As a monolid, small-eyed Asian woman, I am plagued with raccoon eyes except for tubular mascaras. I was so envious of people who could wear L'oreal Voluminous or Diorshow since they just run down my face. No more! I literally top any mascara with this (currently Maybelline Plushies or Nars Volumizing) and it renders these formerly smudgey messes into longwearing beauties. HIGHLY recommend!!

I was battling the constant problem of every low end or a high end mascara flaking or giving me raccoon under eye. I always put concealer under my eyes and set with setting powder which did not help. I tried putting a coat of waterproof mascara on top of regular mascara and nothing seemed to help my mascaras not to flake. I finally bit the bullet and bought this top coat (I hate spending $ on high end mascaras as the shell life is so short and there are drug store options that perform the same). I love it! It actually worked! I tried it with bunch of mascaras and they do not flake anymore. The price is high but it works!

I LOOOOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! The packaging and the tube itself makes me feel like I'm holding a million bucks. ;) It's just such a fancy addition to my make-up collection and I feel so girly when I use it! My eyes smudge all the time bc I have oily skin or if I watch a romantic movie, and this product keeps everything in place. Thank goodness!!

Bought on the premise that this would waterproof my non-waterproof mascara, this product was used once and returned. At $27, this is an outrageous waste of money for a product that does not do what it claims to do.

I do not understand this product. I was so excited when it arrived in the mail. It did not help hold my curl, it did not help keep mascara waterproof. A waterproof version of any mascara would do a better job than this. I thought I wasn't using enough so I piled it on and it made my lashes look grey.

Every mascara I try gives me some transfer right under my brow bone by the end of the day. I was hoping that this product would stop that. Nope. I saw no difference. I tried this product when my mascara was wet and when it was dry and nothing worked. I tried just applying it to the tips of my lashes, but that looked like little gray blobs at the tips, like little sad pieces of lint or something.

This is super pricey for what it is, and I still have most of the tube left. I don't know what to do with it. Too expensive to throw out, but worthless at what it claims to do. I was very disappointed with this product. Had I kept my Sephora returns label this would have gone back.

This was perfect to add to my make up collection!

I have sooooo many mascaras laying around. Some are waterproof, some aren't. SO, the ones that aren't... most likely will smudge or run. I hated that after a few hours my makeup application for my under eye would look like I been out all night. Blame it on the mascara or the eyeliner? I ruled it out to be my mascara.

I saw a review of this product online and decided to try it out. IT WORKED! No more racocon eyes from smudging or a black mess under my eye. The only thing that I do not like is that it develops this weird grayish coat on top of the black mascara. You have to apply at least two coats to make sure the product covers all of the mascara...and that creates a little issue when I take off my makeup. It takes a much longer time that it used to!

i have stick straight lashes that prevents me from using regular formula mascaras, i have to use waterproof version, which is so hard to take off, i rather not use it if i dont have to and i have found a solution. i discovered this during a gwp event in nordstrom and i set it asdie for a long time and one day, i decided to just try it. i used it on bare lashes after curling and i was suprised how it held my curls so then...after being fascinated for about 5 min...i put on one of my many regular formula mascara and it looked great! it held up the curls!! so i use this as a mascara base not a top coat which is its intended application. if i use a regular mascara and put this as a top coat, before i can even get to putting this on, my lashes droop down immediately so i use this as a base first to hold my curl. this is pretty easy to take off with just cleanser byitself, unlike the waterproof mascaras where i have to use an eye makeup remover to get it off...so i really enjoy this product! i can utilize all of my stashes of regular formula mascaras and i dont have to dread every night trying to take off my mascra. great find!

I bought this product after watching pursebuzz's youtube video. Many mascaras smudge on me so I decided to try wearing this for its anti-"smudge" properties. I always wear waterproof mascara so wearing this on top doesn't do any different. My lids also get oily so many a times, mascara smudges on my lower lid and get raccoon eyes, which I need to wipe often. After using this, I don't get any smudging with my mascara, which is really what I bought it for. However, if you apply too much of this, I find that it gets sticky and the lashes start to stick together. So I apply a small coat of this on top of my mascara (once its dried) so my mascara doesn't smudge throughout the day. I have yet to use this in the shower or what not because I normally don't wear mascara swimming or showering. The formula is a clear coat that goes on top of the mascara. The brush are bristles (not the plastic Maybelline brushes) so it applies well and gets all the lashes. If Anastasia came out with a waterproof mascara with the same brush, I'd purchase it because I really like the brush. Other than that, I'd probably buy this again.

Dear Make-Up Friends:
Anastasia Lash Genius Waterproof Top Coat is my favorite #1 beauty item of all time. My eyes tear all the time due to allergies and being super sensitive. Which means you should at least buy one because it will probably be discontinued soon. Everything I love is discontinued, yes, including my relationships. Which leads me back to why waterproof makeup is key.
