I was trying to go for a more sheer look (jaja this is quite sheer I must say!), but I bought this & CG Smoothers pressed powder to go with it. This basically is colorless, I knew that going in it would be sheer but I was hoping it would control oil/shine & add a little polish rather than wearing Clinique Total TurnAround Day (in Glow), but I will stick w Clinique TT even though ur getting a big old tube of this CG for ~$7. It's okay, I will use it up but I'm undecided if I want to buy it again. The SPF is nice but I remember their tinted moisturizer being better than this reformulation. Meh.. I liked Garnier BB best & then Olay. I have to use blot papers w this which suxxx tbh I think the powder is the culprit coz it contains mineral oil. I'm liking this better w/o the powder if u use the matching powder beware it says noncomedogenic yet contains mineral oil! I had already ripped into the packaging when I noticed ;( so that's why this works better w an oil free powder if u need a powder on the t-zone.

Meh; it's really a tinted moisturizer (translated, means no coverage at all)
and the SPF is far too low to use as a daily sunscreen.

So.. layer it over another sunscreen? Useless.
Moisturizer? not much there either.

I purchased the fair to light tone.. and it's not too yellow, as is the problem
with many light toned BB creams.. But there's not much point to it.

I have been looking for a tinted moisturizer, bb cream, or sheer foundation to add to my makeup routine and bought CG Smoothers BB cream in fair/light based on a decent score on Beautypedia and after reading reviews here. I don't think it is my HG product, and I have a few more to try, but has been pretty reliable so far.

CG Smoothers BB is inexpensive at $9 CAD for 40ml. It comes in a short, fat tube with a small nozzle that makes it easy to dispense the right amount of product.

I wear this product over my skincare regimen of sunscreen (shiseido urban environment) and moisturizer by squeezing a little on to my fingertips and spreading it over my face. It offers very light coverage, blends out well and looks natural. My concealer (rimmel match perfection) and powder (covergirl clean) look nice on top of this and don't move during the day. I did notice a little oiliness around my nose by the late afternoon but it is easily blotted away.

Overall, I like this for everyday wear when I just need a little something to hold my concealer. I would prefer a touch more coverage and will keep trying other products, but I will definitely keep wearing this until I find something better. I think it is a good value and would probably repurchase if I run out.

THIS OFFERS NO COVERAGE

I knew it would have no coverage
It is pretty much a sunscreen with some colour and acts as a bb cream
i use this to give my dry skin a nice glow
It makes my skin shine and look like very even skin tone
I like it because its a sunscreen but yeah
Wear it under foundation maybe for a smoother bsse

This product is nice. It is a tinted moisturizer, as it says it is. It is VERY light on coverage, and it is very smooth. I use it as a moisturizer, because there is no way this could replace any kind of foundation, simply because it's too light. Since I have blemishes and dry patches, this helps restore some of the elasticity that I loose to my acne regimen. For me, it acts as a good base for me to apply foundation and powder on. However, it isn't all that oily-skin friendly, so I use it along with an oily-skin type makeup where I get shine during the day. Overall, this product is decent for the price. "Would I buy it again?" Well, I really wasn't blown away by it, but it did do everything it promised, so I might.

color 710 light to medium. I bought this to use as a lightweight, light coverage makeup for the summer...boy what a bad idea. It was so greasy on my skin after a half hour i had to wash my face and reapply my old Smashbox stand by. (Sheer Focus) which is no longer available...sad face...I asked my 13 year old daughter if she wanted to try it and she also found it greasy and made her face look pink. I will try it again in the winter months, we live in Canada so we get 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad tobogganing...I gets very dry and very cold so it may have a different effect on my skin, we will see. As a summer makeup it gets a no.

I think this stuff works great for my skin. I don't need a foundation since my skin is pretty good, but this stuff is perfect for covering the small bits of redness in the T-zone area and cheeks. It gives a nice glow. The only thing is the fact that I can constantly smell it when its on, but I guess that is because I don't wear make up often or sensitive to smell. Good product though, good price, good packaging. Would recommend to anyone with a skin that doesn't need foundation to cover, but just some extra glow.

I usually love covergirl, but i hated this bb cream. Unlike other bb creams I have tried, this one doesn't make my skin look better, doesn't offer even the slightest coverage, and it so slick I can't possibly wear it without it coming off. Doesn't stay on even with powder. Also it breaks me out in tiny pimples when I use it. Will not repurchase.

I got this product at Wal-Mart a few months ago. Mind you, I'm in Canada so the prices are fairly higher here and so I raked out about $9 for this stuff. I love CG face products and find them the cheapest in Canada. Picking this up I was more than excited to get it out of it's wrapped package to swatch it on my hand, praying "Light" was my shade. When I got home I was full of disappointment because once it came out of the packaging it swatched like a silky moisturizer with SOME tint but that all disappeared seemingly. The next day I decided to try it out and let me say, calling this a BB cream is a bit of a stretch. It's more or less a lightly tinted moisturizer. It was hecka sheer, left no tone to my face and managed to not cover any of my imperfections or colour differences in my face. Even with setting powder it's sheer as anything.

I bought this product and have used it under my foundation all but one time since. The one time I skipped this, I noticed a difference. My foundation lasts longer, and has an added boost of hydration with this BB Cream. Offers minimal coverage, but good for underneath my Covergirl foundation.
