I have been using L'oreal mascara since i was 18 but now Rimmel brand mascara is my second favorite. This mascara is my favorite of all. It does what it says and the big brush is awesome. I will continue to buy it.

I am happy that I bought this mascara. Not usually a Rimmel mascara fan but I gave this one a try because it was on offer for a fiver in boots and Im not disappointed.

In my experience it somewhat lives up to its claims, I just felt my lashes and they are indeed very "flexible", it has lasted all day without flaking and it held a decent curl.
However the effect is not exactly dramatic and I probably won't be using it for going out, then again I would just put some fake lashes on for a dramatic look.

Overall a good mascara for day to day wear, I will probably buy again unless it dries up quickly.

I seldom return things, but this was yet another dumb purchase for which I couldn't forgive myself so I went and got my money back and bought a bibble tea. It was money much better spent.

This was a very dry formula and flaked all over pretty much instantly. There was a little length, but the tips faked off within a few hours. The volume was decent, but there are far better drugstore mascaras out there, rimmel usually has awesome mascaras like glam eyes and sexy curves. L'oreal telescopic shocking extensions has good volume and great length.

The other reviews have positive marks for this but I'd be prepared to return it.

I bought this mascara along with the Rimmel Show Off mascara to give me both length and volume and I love this mascara. It gave me great volume, it lasts until I take it off, it doesn't smudge, flake up, brushes my lashes apart, but most of all, it does what it actually says. I still Love my Maybelline macaras especially my rocket because it gives me better results but I love this mascara and would definitely buy again.

I wanted to love this mascara, but it was a HUGE disappointment... Considering the price there are way better mascaras out there, such as my favourite max factor 2000 calorie mascara. I found that this mascara actually made my eyelashes look worse than before I even put the mascara on...It just did not look good at all. Also, the brush was so huge that it was really hard to work with. Bottom line I will not be buying this again, and do not recommend it at all.

Holy grail mascara!!! <333 this has replaced my benefit they're real and my maybelline the rocket! It perfectly spreads out my lashes and makes them look sooo natural but..improved! In love. Pros: lengthens, volumizes, 0 clumps, looks natural, doesn't make lashes hard, curls lashes. Cons: I only have one):

I'm not crazy about Rimmel but I gave this mascara a try because I'm constantly searching for a mascara that is soft, not crunchy. It doesn't clump and gave me that feathery eyelash look that I love.

I really like this mascara, as I apply upward to my top lashes I roll the mascara wand and it naturally curls it for you; my lashes go staright out, so I always have to use an eyelash curler, but this mascara is a quick way to get that effect w/o using a curler at all! The only bad thing is that I left it in the car one day, so when I opened it all the brisles were clumped but now its fine again lol. So overall great mascara!

Ah, I love this mascara. Even more than my previous HG, Maybelline Full N Soft. I like this one more because the consistency is good from the start, with FnS I have to wait a week or so for it to get the the dryness/thickness I prefer. I also like this one much more than the regular ScandalEyes in the orange tube. This mascara makes my lashes seriously thick, and crazy long at the same time. It never flakes and is easily removed. My only qualm is that it doesn't come in waterproof, but it's staying power is amazing so it's almost a non-issue.

This is definitely my HG when it comes to drugstore mascaras! I've been using it for a little over a month and i love it! It gives my lashes great curl, length, and volume and for around $6. The only con i would have for this mascara is that the brush is definitely no good for my lower lashes unless i want to do a lot of cleanup, but that doesn't take away from how amazing this is. I can get a great deal of thickness with just one coat, and once i add another it really opens up my eyes and adds length all without having that caked on spider leg lash look. My lashes look as though I've used a good mascara on already long and thick lashes, when I'd say my natural lashes are only average with less than normal curl (though i must mention that i have naturally dark lashes so i can't speak too well of the color payoff, but I'd say the Extreme Black is definitely not greyish as some mascaras can be)
Absolutely one of my fav products and I've recommended it to my mother who has thin blondish lashes and loves it as well!

If I could give decimal ratings, I would give this a 3.7 in all categories. It is above average, but not quite phenomenal. This is the 2nd Rimmel mascara I've tried, & I sorta like the orig. lash accelerator more. Having said that, this is a really nice drugstore mascara. It primarily gives volume, but provides some lengthening and separation as well. Curling power is average -- no better or worse than any other mascara I've tried. What I like the most is that once you give the formula maybe 2 weeks to dry a bit, the texture is super buildable. You can really pile it on without it smooshing your lashes together. I have decent natural lashes and prefer a dry formula generally. Staying power is good, but it can get sorta dry and flaky at the end of the day. It does not make your lashes as hard as some other mascaras, though. My beef with this product is that i think the brush is too big and i always seem to smudge it on my upper lids, even when being super careful. i find it works best if you massage it into the base of your lashes in sort of a circular motion & then just zig-zag it on to your outer lashes to your heart's content. Overall, I do like this but I like to try a new mascara every time I repurchase. So I WOULD buy it again in the future, but probably won't. :P

I'm a huge fan of Rimmel products and I really loved the Scandal Eyes in the orange tube. When it was time again to purchase some mascara, I ran across this one and thought, what the heck, I'll try it. I really didn't notice much of a difference between this and the original Scandal Eyes. Both have a huge brush which I love, and they do make my almost non-existent eyelashes visible and sort of spiked, which is sort of weird, but they don't look like spider eyes. I don't use mascara on my lower lashes, so I really can say how it will do. When I apply my mascara, I usually use two different mascaras, and will always top my first coat with the Scandal Eyes. I like it and would definitely purchase it again.

I needed a new mascara because I lost my favorite Clinique and wanted a change from Jordana (boy was I harsh on Jordana in comparison to THIS!). Well, for $5 and after coming on here for reviews I thought I would give it a shot. Yup, people were right, the brush is big n fat alright! I found it did NOT lengthen at all.... and my lashes are fairly long and thick....and this was almost a step up from Great Lash (and that aint saying much!). It didn't thicken either... I have tried it 2 or 3 times now and usually at that point you can get a sense of what to do and how to make it worth...but it hasn't been that way and why should one struggle with their mascara? I'm going to see if I can return it to Wal*Mart. I give it a thumbs down and a sideways thumb.... not my cup o' joe!

This is my favorite mascara ever and I will buy it as long as they make it. I have thin, short, blonde eyelashes and with this stuff you would never be able to tell. It makes them thick, black, huge, and long. I think the thick brush, once you get the hang of it, only makes the product work even better. It doesn't have a bad smell, it never flakes. The lycra is awesome, I can build and build with no worries. Or just a couple swipes for a lighter look. I just think the tube is a little chunky and think in design. I also wish they would make a waterproof version!!! Either way this mascara is great and I recommend it to anyone.

Wow. I have been searching for the ULTIMATE mascara basically my entire life and have finally found it! I am surprised more people don't adore this - perhaps due to the enormous brush. I am a bit of a mascara snob but picked this up on a whim before swearing off DS mascara for good. So happy I did! I picked this up for about 5 bucks on sale. Gives beautiful full fringy lashes, inky black, lots of volume and definition. Holds curl very well, no raccoon eyes and hardly flakes (I touch my eyes a lot so mascara always flakes on me...this probably wouldn't flake at all on most people). Even a bit of cold water on the lashes doesn't make it run, however it comes off easily with warm water and my regular cleanser (Paula's). This can be used for a natural look or dramatic...but it is pretty and dramatic, not just caked on dramatic. You can layer this even when dry if you want to take it from day to night. I'm not sure about the lycra but I do notice this formula has more give/flex to it. I don't get any lumps or clumps with this, even with multiple coats. The brush is huge and I'm not sure how someone with short lashes would be able to maneuver it, however if you have long thin lashes like I do, I highly recommend you give it a try. New HG!!!

I really like this mascara a lot. It has become my favorite mascara at the moment. Previously I was wearing CG Lash Blast in the orange tube which I love but this Rimmel is so much better! I have very straight eyelashes that curl downwards so I always curl my eyelashes and this Rimmel mascara holds the curl!!! Most mascaras are liquidy and my eyelashes flop back down after applying mascara. Another great thing I have found with this stuff is you can reapply it over mascara hours later and it won't clump up, just gives even more volume and length. Try it out!!!

I have super straight and short lashes to begin with so any help I can get is a plus! I ran into this product @ target and thought I would give it a try. I havent been disappointed with rimmel products at all and this one wasnt about to let me down. I use my eyelash curler and apply this stuff on.. the brush is a little intimidating BECAUSE IT IS HUGE!! I must say bigger is better here! It will take some getting used to on this brush but ladies you will love love love how your lashes look when applying a coat of this mascara!! TRY IT!!! It makes my non existent lashes pop out like falsie eyelashes look! I double up the coats for a more dramatic look for evening A MUST HAVE!!

With this mascara, you have to apply more than one coat if you're looking for volume. I haven't had any problems with clumping. This will give your lashes the look you want without the stiffness which is what I love. I bit hard to remove though.

This is one of the worst mascaras I have ever tried. The brush is HUGE. it's so big that you can't swipe it over your lashes without it getting on your eyelid. the product is kind of liquidy so it takes a while to dry. once it dries, it flakes easily. also, There are already clumps on the brush so it's impossible to use the mascara without transferring the clumps from the brush to your lashes. I'vre tried separating the lashes with a different brush so that helps a little. Other than all of those complaints, i do like the actual tube itself. It is very easy to open compared to the covergirl lash blast I use now. That's about the only plus to this product. Not buying this again.

I found that to get results that I was even remotely happy with, I'd have to apply numerous coats, it was a pain in the ass. Plus I found that it didn't dry very quick so my lashes could easily get ruined and smudge all over my eye. Only good thing about this was I got a pretty good eyeliner pencil free with my purchase, but the mascara itself I won't ever purchase again.
