I recently went through all my lip liners and threw out the ones that went rancid or became hard and dry. This is one of the survivors - still as good as the day I bought it. This, along with the Revlon and Rimmel retractable pencils are the best ones. I have this in Sand Beige and it makes a perfect creamy but long lasting liner for a nude lip. You can't go wrong with one of these.

I got this liner last night at CVS in Vanilla Sky, because I was looking for a perfect dark medium nude liner. I've been having a little trouble with my tinted balms and lipstick feathering on my top lip. This product works great in that aspect, also is moisturizing and has good staying power. However, it's not the same shade as the outside of the pen appears. It goes on that perfect brownish nude color, then when the light hits it, it's a much lighter, almost reflective shade. Reminds me of the silver stuff bike riders wear to reflect headlights on cars. I was really disappointed cause I wear flat colored balms and lipsticks, mostly without shimmer. And this is two toned. Reflective. If you wear nude shimmery lipstick it'll work. But not for me. A different shade would be great, but they're sealed and I don't trust the color of the packaging. My next try will be Rimmel Exxagerate, cause I like the slanted tip and you can open the lid to check the shade.

I love these retractable lip liners (and all retractable liners in general) because I hate sharpening pencils. I make an exception for MAC's Teddy Kohl liner because I love it so much but I still prefer the retractable form.

I don't see the need to spend big dollars on lip liners as I don't find a difference between a Chanel pencil (which needs sharpening) and NYX's brand.
In fact, I prefer the texture of NYX lip liners. They're very smooth and go on effortlessly.
I have Nude Pink and Ruby and both are very versatile for the lip shades I wear.
The staying power is the same as other lip pencils out there.

Overall, an excellent product at a great price.

I got this in the shade Plum, and it is absolutely horrible. It clumps up really badly, and the tips breaks off. It is impossible to get an even or precise line with this. I'm really disappointed, because I really like the size and the packaging, but I would definitely not recommend this.

I have the retractable liner in the shade "nude pink". The color is a deep pink leaning on the side of berry... not exactly nude. However, it is still a fabulous color. It's creamy, highly pigmented, and from my experience with it, causes no feathering. Truly the only downside is the FLECKS OF GLITTER put throughout the entire thing. I know it doesn't claim to be matte, but seriously? Glitter?

I use this product in Black, it goes on with a creamy consistency, and for a matte lipliner my lips are surprisingly not dry at the end of the day (that may also be due to the fact that it's black, I haven't tried the other colours yet). It doesn't smudge, and it lasts a long time, even after eating.

honestly i have nothing negative to say about these. if you're going to buy a lip liner from nyx, make sure and get one of these rather than the wood pencil ones. these retractable ones have a much creamier texture that doesn't dry your lips out too much, and the pigmentation seems to be a little better too. they are slightly more expensive than the pencils but still affordable. i also personally prefer retractable lip liners to pencils because you don't ever have to sharpen them.

Honestly really liked this product. recently I bought this in the nude shade, & it was exactly what I was looking for, for an everyday use. NYX products are definitely one of my faves cause they're quality is AMAZING but also very cheap. Although I gave this a 4/5, because my pen tend to break a lot but probably because I used it for my whole lip rather than just to outline. But I love the shade & definitely lasted the whole day. Recommend 👍

I love these! Smooth and easy application with deep pigmentation! The price is just right as well. However, they don't last long, but I have yet to find a lipliner that stays longer than lipstick.

I have this lip liner in Cocoa and I love it. It's not so dry that it skips across my lips when I apply it. The colour has the deep cocoa colour I've been looking for but it has a strong yellow tint to it. Somehow it works with my lipsticks though so I don't really mind.

I would definitely repurchase.
