This blush is insanely GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm as pale as you can get and my no frills, go to blush has been NARS Sex Appeal since it was released. This has blown it out of the water!

It's slightly more pink in color and soooooooo smooth! Wears all day on me. Looks beautiful and subtle on the apples but can be used for a contour on my skintone as well. You also don't need to pile it on for the color to show, a few sweeps is all you need. It's not chalky either. I would call it a satin? It's not shimmery, just glowy.

I have a lot of favorite blushes, but this one just climbed right to the top. <3

This is such a pretty blush. I am pale and find that many blushes are just too pigmented. This one is just right - not too pink, not too peach and gives me a natural looking flush with no sparkles. I am loving it this summer with a bit of bronzer and this on top of my cheekbones.

I'm really surprised no one's reviewed this blush yet, seeing as its produced by a well known brand, & is sold at Sephora! On top of that, the Buxom True Hue blushes are high quality & rave worthy. I guess I'll be the first...


I bought 4 Illamasqua blushes in Katie & Tremble after many, many people suggested them for my pale skin. Alas, Katie was too cool toned - & Tremble was too dark. It's hard for me to find the right make up! But I found Buxom's True Hue blush in Swept Away months later & it was EXACTLY the color I needed.


Swept Away is a described as a "peachy nude" on Sephora's website. I'd say that's almost correct. This shade is more of a light peachy pink color. The closest dupe I can think of is NARS Sex Appeal, although that has more brown. I prefer Swept Away as it is a purer color, & melts right into my skintone. I'm NC10 (albino/yellow undertones) for reference, & this is one of the few blushes that won't look clown-like on me. I love it! It looks so natural.

This blush isn't the MOST pigmented one out there...yet its decent nonetheless. If you like NARS blushes you'd like Buxom True Hue blushes. The color doesn't fade thru the day & I've had no problems with it being streaky...nor with this blush breaking my sensitive skin out.

I will repurchase!
