I absolutely love this product and this color. The creamy texture allows it to glide on smoothly and it stays for a long time. This is my go to color expecially when I am wearing a dark smokey eye. The packaging is great. People are complaining because they don't like it but I am grateful for it. I am sure this helps keep cost down which allows us to by quality products at a remarkable price. I care more about what's IN the packaging then I do what the prodcut is in. Having said that, the packaging is still wonderfully done and I don't quite understand the complaints. I am glad someone finally took notice and made great products at a honest and fair price.

I hate to be a hater, but I honestly don't have a lot of good things to say about any of the makeup geek lipsticks. The color Shy can be described as a nude pink brown, on my lips it looks only a tad lighter then the shade Darling. It is slightly more pink then Darling. The formula of these lipsticks is not one of my favorite, they are extremely slippery and have a very glossy finish. I find that if you layer them over a lip liner they do have less slip to them, however I am yet to find a lip liner that doesn't change this color into an unflattering brown nude. They don't last well on the lips and they have such a horrible plastic smell and taste to each and every one of them. I do like the packaging, I think sleek and it really reminds me of a Lancome lipstick but really this is the only redeeming quality I like about them There is honestly not one quality about them that is anything like a M.A.C lipstick, which is what the main selling point the makeup geek website is saying about them. That they are the same quality as M.A.C but at a fraction of the price. This claim is simply not true, If anything they remind me of a NYX black label lipstick only I enjoy black label lipsticks more. I personally, wont be purchasing any more. I am all for their eyeshadow but I really think they have a lot more work to do on their lipsticks.
