Seriously matte and natural/nude shades. Go with every day and everywhere look.
Have used these for years and will continue to repurchase. The plastic casing is not luxe, but for the price, who really cares. The texture and pigmentation of the colors is almost perfect -- right up there with HE eyeshadows.
don't hesistate.. try these and you will have a great solution to every day eye colors.

Finally, a quad of nude shadows from the drugstore that are good quality! Most other drug shore palettes have shimmer, and I was just looking for some plain colours for every day use with no shimmer. Finally!
In Canada this isn't sold at most drug stores, so I had to go looking for it (finally found it in Walmart). So glad I found it!
I will repurchase when needed.

I've picked this up and put it back so many times while at various drugstores. I finall got it for $1.49 while CVS was having their $6.00 off PF sale. I'm so glad I did. I wear it daily as a crease/blending and highlight shade palette. I don't care for matte colors all over the lids, so I use this as a complementary palette to whatever shimmery shade I use on my lids for the day.
I use the creamy/white shade as an all over lid base and inner-corner highlight, then I use the two brown shades for the crease and the darker greyish brown as an outer corner color.
The shadows are quite powdery, but I've learned to just gently tap instead of swirl as they are quite pigmented. Excellent for travel too.

Holy crap, where have this product been all my life??
This is what I call a cheap thrill, because it is so cheap (I actually just purchased it at CVS for 40%!) and the quality of these shadows are fantastic!
I have been trying to find good nude pallets for under $20 and this is just what I was looking for. Highly recommend to anyone!

Blue eyes, red hair, around NW 15. I have both this and the brown matte pallete. Goes very well with red lips, shimmery eyeliner (PF metallic ones), stays on (I use a primer with ANY eyeshadows). Would be suitable for nude/naked/natural eyes look. If you are in law enforcement, medical field, have wrinkley eyelids (you don't have to be old to have those) or just don't like "made up" look, I would highly recommend this nd another brown version. They are both terrific! I have 2 back ups of EACH, that's how fast I go through them. The best part is they make my small, bluish-muddy-greyish eyes POP. People compliment my EYES, not my MU when I wear them.
it's getting more and more difficult to find them in Canada: London Drugs, Wal-Mart nd Superstore were the only places I saw them.

LOVE IT!! I use the cream color all the way up to my browbone and tear duct to brighten. Then I use one of the browns, they're pretty identical in my opinion, in my crease. Then the grayish color in a V shape in the corner of my eyes, blend everything out. I also use this color on my black-brown brows since I like my brows dark and it doesn't look to harsh and also on my lower lash line. This is my everyday look just using this quad.

Just turned 40 and realized it’s time to retire my shimmery eye shadows for everyday use. I love this matte palette and the colors work perfectly together. Why is it so hard to find matte eye shadows? I’m extremely fair and the colors work really well for me. Great basic palette and YES the two brown colors do look different on the lid. One is much warmer than the other.

I have a love/hate relationship with this palette. Although other reviewers have said there's no color payoff, I think they're very pigmented. I wear them over a flesh toned eyeshadow base... maybe that's why. The browns in this palette are more taupe than brown and I find that the medium brown and the dark gray/brown when used on the lid and crease respectively, kind of blend together and there isn't much differentiation. I've learned to work with the shadows and find it good for a smokey eye. Despite the fact that I have brown eyes, these colors make my eyes pop instead of making them muddy. My big complaint is that the shadows are chalky and I can see myself hitting pan quickly. Also, there is a lot of fallout when applying. The fallout is annoying. These stay on pretty well with primer, but do tend to crease a little by the end of the day. I may buy this again when I run out for those times when I want a neutral smokey eye, but I'm not totally loving it.

It's ok. If you want to start a matte collection, easy, cheap way to do it. But it isn't a desert island quad - I prefer Naked Basics to this. The colors just don't show up well or if I over add, get muddied together. If you just want to buy something...go for it. I am NW20 with dark under eye circles, deep set eyes & almost black brows & hair. I need colors that make my eyes pop, and all these shades did was add more "shadow" and muddy-ness to my already too pink/purple dark eye area.

I actually use on of the medium browns to fill in my eyebrows (there is a subtle difference between the two browns even though they look very similar in the palette!) i haven't used the grey colour yet but i like the two browns and the creme colour is a great highlight. they packaging is very drab but overall i like this product.

I bought this palette thinking that it will be a great travel matte palette. However the color pay off for the medium browns are not that good. I'm using it as an eyebrow palette now and it works really great.

Matte shadows are hard to find in this glitter world we are in now. Read about these Canyon Classics in Allure Magazine and they are so nice. Colors are true, the highlighter color is very nice and crisp. The two brown shades (they may look similar but are very different on the lid) double as brow shadow for me.

I like this matte quad, but I still have issues using it. The package looks so ugly. The applicator attached is not bad, however I still won't use it. The 4 eye shadows really look amazing in the pan. The colors are well designed, match to each other. The texture is very soft and buttery. It is supposed to be a HG matte palette.
However, I found the color pay off was not so good. The cream color is too intensive, too opaque. 2 brown ones show exactly the same color ! I can't tell any difference between them. The grey color, oh my god. The pigmentation is quite good, but it fades off so quickly - in 1 hr maybe just 30 min.
I expected so high to this quad. Apparently it is not at the same level as my favorite matte eye-shadows - wet n wild Vanity palette and brulee. However I still give it 4, because this is the best matte one in my hands now. I miss my vanity.

My fave neutral quad for travel and cutting down the clutter on the makeup table whenever I have a fit of minimalism. It has everything I need for a basic contoured and lined eye in a trim package.
Keep in mind that I am pale (NC10-15), neutral-to-warm and soft and muted in coloring. Every one of the colors is excellent for me: The warm ivory is close to my skintone, so it's a good base or brow highlighter, the taupe and the camel both work as lid or subtle crease colors, and the warm medium gray is great for lining or as a deeper crease color on my coloring. I also use the taupe to fill in and define my brows.
What could be improved? Well, the packaging isn't particularly elegant or sturdy; I've had the hinges break in the past. I depot those shadows into my Z palette and just go buy another at CVS for my travel bag.
Also, the shadows do kick up a fair amount of powder, so there is waste. At this price, it's not a big deal. As for complaints about pigmentation: Well, I don't need more pigment, since I'm so pale anyway. If your coloring is deeper or you like a very deep smoky eye, you should look elsewhere.
The perfect matte palette for me would have these exact colors in a formula like Guerlain's or Chantecaille's. So far, neither has seen fit to fufill my dreams, so I stick with this little winner.

Getting to be the age I am, discovered by research that I can't wear any type of shimmer shadows. Don't look right.
I have about 6 magazine subscriptions and they all come to the same conclusion.
I love these!! Hope they never stop making them. I bought these on eBay for a song.

I am in love with this quad. I where it almost everyday! The greyish taupe shade doesn't see a lot of love from me daily, but all the others I cannot live without. The shadows are fantastic quality for the drugstore: not chalky, smooth, and pigmented. Some previous reviewers have said that the two browns look the same, but I disagree. While they are similar, the one on the top is a warm-toned brown, while the one on the bottom has more of a cool-tone. I'm worried that this may be getting discontinued, because it is becoming increasingly difficult to find. I managed to pick up the last three at my local Walmart though. This quad is so diverse, and a staple in my large makeup collection. Totally recommend

Although these shadows are a little (just a little) chalky, I do love them because it's very hard to find matte eyeshadows from the drugstore. I love the cool tones in this quad because they are different from the other drugstore eyeshadows I own. I did use the browns for my eyebrows (I have dark blonde/light brown hair) but they were still a little warm (MAC Omega is much better), but as eyeshadows they are very nice.

Other reviewers have claimed that these shadows are highly pigmented; I must respectfully disagree. In my experience, this quad is pretty sheer. The texture is matte and dry.
However, I'm giving it an uncontested 5 because it is a FABULOUS product for blonde eyebrows. Super-pigmented shades can look funny on my sparse, patchy blonde brows; I prefer sheer brow powder that can be built up as needed, and this quad fits the bill. I mix the darkest gray shade with the darkest tan shade on my brows, and the result is very natural-looking definition.
I also love the darkest gray shade for giving subtle definition to my eye socket when I'm rocking a strong lip color. The sheerness of the shadow makes it pretty foolproof, and it's perfect for a "no makeup" look.
For the record, I'm NC15-20. I'm not sure if this product would work for darker skintones, but if you have blonde eyebrows and fair skin, like me, it's definitely worth a try.

I just got these eyeshadows based on the reviews here. I like them and they are very creamy and a nice texture that go on very smooth. But I agree with the previous reviewer the two lighter shades don't really show up on me either, but I really love the darkest shade and the lightest shade. For those colors alone the eyeshadows are defiantely worth getting.

This is a great drugstore matte eyeshadow! The colors are okay. The light color I really enjoy The two browns look exactly the same and donKt show up well on my skin but are still good. Also the darker brown gray has an odd color that I feel doesn't go with the rest but does nicely fill my eyebrows. With some concelear under it the lasting power if fine.
I would not purchase again mainly due to the color choices.
