Incredible black tea and spice opening. It's joined by a milky note that is wonderful too. This is a fantastic gourmand. Top Notes: Cardamom, Ginger, Black Tea

Well, it's not as interesting as Art Collection # 09 but it's lovely. This fragrance is based around Indian spices and tea so it's been compared quite a lot with what we know in the west as Chai or Chai Latte. I don't drink it so I can't comment. Before I work my way through it's early stages I'll tell what I thought the first time I wore it. About three hours into the experience I thought, "Someone is making raisin toast ..... and they're wearing Chanel No. 5". It was the # 08 on my skin and it smelled like that on me for the rest of the day. And can I say, it is a lovely combination. Velvety and warm. Now back to the fabulously edgy opening - my favourite part. Cardamom that is so green it almost crackles with sharpness but for the ginger, black tea and light sweet spices. Then a fleeting glimpse of dark cocoa. Wow, invigorating. But within minutes I'm smelling cinnamon, dried fruits and ripe tobacco - lightly reminiscent of, but not as good as, Ambre Narguile (Hermes). I guess this could be described as the unisex or masculine stage. Then it's all warm raisin toast and light powdery florals with hints of amber and musk. Very elegant, lightly spicy and a little goumand. A comfort scent in other words but different enough to be interesting.
