This is my favorite lip gloss ever. Shocked at the Artist when she came up with the Electric Violet tube...(I was thinking that she is color blind, or was listening to SOMEONE ELSE when I explained what I was looking for!!).

It's much sheerer on your lips than in the tube! It's just a gorgeous sheer raspberry pink with cool (cool as in blue toned) shimmer particles.

I DO have to take a lippy off for packaging, as I have to HACKSAW the damn tube in half to get to the last 20% of product in the bottom and upper neck of the tube. AND TWO lippies off for the price. $24 bucks for a lip gloss is insane.

however...I keep returning to buy it because I feel pretty when I wear it! It is the perfect companion color gloss to my Dior Glow blush. It wears well too...minty scent and kind of a funky consistency too...more waxy than liquidy, but wears shiny and smooth...

If you like a fun & high sparkle pink lip, give it a try!

BB High Shimmer glosses are gorgeous and underrated on MUA--they're a much nicer formula than MAC Dazzleglasses and have more wearable colors for those of us who learned to drive before the George W. Bush administration. :)

Electric Violet looks crazy bright in the tube and very shimmery, with blue and pink shimmer. Once applied it's a gorgeous decently pigmented violet with a good amount of shimmer, but not at all OTT. It's not quite sheer, but gives a lovely glossy violet stained look. I'd wear this to my conservative office with an understated eye without any hesitation, but I'd also wear it on a Friday night.

The formula itself is nice and not sticky like many other glosses. The mint smell is subtle and it doesn't have any noticeable taste. Its staying power is about 1-2 hours, which is average on me for a lip gloss, which is the only reason I gave this a 4/5 instead of 5/5.

BB usually has a reputation for being "boring" and "safe," but these glosses (including Electric Violet) are anything but!
