I loved the scent of this, it is so floral and mild. If you love the rose scent then this is definitely for you, I would say this sinks into skin fairly quickly and it has a cooling feeling which I like. Also the tube size is good and will last for quite a while.

I'm really disappointed in this purchase. The metal tube has sharp edges. The threading of the cap is really fine and difficult to screw back on. The cream smells of roses yes.. but it's actually too strong.. and a bit fake smelling. The cream is light and non greasy but my skin seems to be reacting badly to it. My skin isn't usually sensitive to anything, but this seems to be drying it out and making it itchy. I don't think it's an allergic reaction because I don't have any hives (or any allergies at all that I know of. I would not recommend this product at all.

I think the ratings on here are fair for this product, it goes on light, non-greasy, smells lovely but its just not that moisturizing... which i guess is the payoff for the non-greasy nice texture. The spf 15, although not as high as I would want is a nice additional feature

Not super moisturizing, but also completely non-greasy. It will be great for the summertime when my skin isn't quite so dry. And I love the smell!

I love The Body Shop's Moroccan Rose Body Butter, so I thought this would be similar, but It's not. The scent is really faint. Personally I think The Body Shop's Hemp Hand Protector moisturizes better. Overall, this is a very ordinary hand cream for the price.

Hindu-Bengali wedding tradition is that groom's family gives bride gifts of clothing and cosmetics. Luckily, my mother-in-law is pretty damn cool, so she was all, "Look, buy what you want, buy stuff you will use, hopefully not drugstore stuff, and I'll pay you back." Combined with a Groupon, and my value-seeking self was set!
I wrote elsewhere (in a review of The Body Shop's Almond Body Butter) that I've been washing a lot more dishes lately (see: recent marriage, messy husband, who happens to be a phenomenal cook). Since I'm lazy about wearing gloves, I decided to try out a variety of hand creams and lotions.
This hand cream has a lovely smell. Really nice. A little product goes a long way, but the tube design (complete with tiny cap) means that there is usually a little spillage before I can close the thing off again. Nooo!
I don't know if I would re-purchase this; probably not. $20 for hand cream (3.3 oz) is kind of more than I want to pay. Also, I had assumed- I gave The Body Shop the benefit of the doubt- that their ingredient list would be pretty straightforward and easy to decipher. It's not (see above).
Maybe I should just moisturize with Vaseline or straight-up almond oil or something. Jeez. Maybe that would make my Luddite-self happy.

This hand cream smells divine, which is why I bought it. Really amazing wild rose scent, just like a bush rose in full bloom. Really lovely! Also love the SPF, since hands are known to show sun exposure with time. Unfortunately, this does just not hydrate at all. It says it contains rosehip oil, but it's really far down the ingredients list (as are all natural ingredients) and I cannot feel it. It doesnt leave a film, but since it doesnt hydrate either, I will not repurchase. The hemp version hydrates much, much better - unfortunately it also stinks. Guess you cant have it all with TBS hand creams.
