This has to be the most beautiful brown eyeshadow I've ever tried. Please T. LeClerc never stop making this product! Not only is the color gorgeous (medium golden brown) and enhances my blue eyes, but the texture is like velvet. Goes on like a dream even without an eye makeup primer. It also has just the right amount of shimmer to brighten up my 53 year old eyes without making my lines/wrinkles more noticeable. In fact, somehow all my imperfections seem to recede when I wear this shadow.

This is how I wear it. I brush Laura Mercier's matte eyeshadow in Buttercream all over my eye area and use that as my base. I follow this with the Brun Dore on my lid as well as in the crease. If I want more intensity I smudge Laura Mercier's Brown Copper Kohl pencil along the upper lash line. This pencil blends beautifully with the shadow. If I want to take it a step further, I use T. LeClerc's eye pencil in feuille d'or (gold leaf) on the inside corner of my eyes as well as on the water line.

This look is especially nice with a bit of a tan, but I'll still be wearing this look come fall and winter because my blue eyes never stood out so much. This shadow's a bit expensive at $28.50, but it's worth every penny. Another plus is that it stays put. I mean it doesn't crease on me at all and I have fairly oily eyelids. Can't say enough about this eyeshadow.
