I ordered Dark Juices, thanks to all the nice bloggers who swatch, Beautyhabit had 20% off, so I thought this was a good time to try it out, Firstly...this lipstick is NOT sheer IMO. I purchased a RBR Colour Burst Lippie (see review for Nothing Unknown). That color is sheer. Dark Juices is a darkish blue based plum with alot of shimmer and some downright GLITTER., I suppose that's the "dew". I was a bit surprised, as I expected stained sheer color. This is full on lipstick. I probably would have passed had I known this had glitter, as that's best left to the younger crowd. Having said all this, I did like it, but will probably save it for nights out, I may try again with a lighter color, but in all honesty, I will probably stick with Color Burst colors, as they are a little more subtle.. Two lippies off for not describing the coverage/glitter factor, and the cheapo case that does not snap tightly, With a price range up near YSL and Burberry, why are we still paying the inflated price?
EDIT: After wearing this for awhile, I gave it another lippy, and thought I'd revise my original review a bit. This really doesn't have glitter..I must have been dreaming that day, but it does have a subtle shimmer. It's not quite sheer...I'd still say opaque, but it could just be the color interacting with my pigmented lips. RBR lippies, although overpriced, ae a joy to wear, They are light, MLBB colors, moist looking and don't cause dryness or flaking. All in all...satisfied. I may buy more if I'm feeling flush with cash.
