About my skin: I have fairly sensitive skin. It is normal to dry skin in the summer & dry in the winter. At almost 35 years old I have the dreaded parenthesis lines beginning to form around my mouth and the horrible brow furrow ("11") lines are beginning to creep in as well. I keep the dry, flaky skin away by using a combination of Clinique 7 Day scrub & Olay ProX system brush with a variety of different cleansers but mostly Aveeno Positively Ageless facial wash/scrub. After cleansing my face I would use this serum, eye gel & the day cream. Since I have dry skin I find that the serum is not quite hydrating enough to use on its own. On me it feels just ever so *slightly* tight after I let it set. I can get away with not using moisturizer if I wanted but I prefer not to. I usually use the Ujene Day Cream afterwards in order for my skin to feel completely normal. The heavy glass bottle is nice to look at and dropper style makes it easy to dispense the serum. I have been able to use 98% of the serum up this way. The rest I just tipped over into my palm. The serum itself is a thin consistency, clear with no fragrance. It is chock full of well known good-for-skin ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin c, antioxidants, polysacccharides & more. It claims to have 10% of an ingredient called Oviluxe which I am not as familiar with as the other ingredients. (I am a big fan of products containing hyaluronic acid after a bit of research.) I usually use this serum after I shower when my skin is a bit damp because I find that the serum spreads easily & melts right into my skin so a tiny little bit goes a long way. (And I mean a TINY bit) The bottle lasted me for several months with daily use. After using up just one bottle I can't say that my wrinkles have totally disappeared but I can see that with continued use this has potential to get rid of my "11" that is *trying* to form itself between my brows. What I can say it has done is prevent them from getting any worse. On another note: Last winter (and several winters before) I was using a mish mash of skin care products (Estee Lauder, Lancome, drugstore) trying to find the right balance. This winter after using Ujene Serum, Day Cream & Eye Gel I have found that my skin isnt nearly in need of hydration as in the previous winters. I have a strong feeling the regular use of this skin care regime is to thank! Overall I really really enjoy using the serum, day dream & eye gel and would get them again but one lippie off for being on the expensive side.

Even at 48, I have *extremely* oily skin that breaks out occasionally. Therefore, one of my most important standards for a skin care product is, Will it make my skin feel greasy, or will it make me break out?
I'm very pleased to report that Puriste Collagen Serum has neither of those undesirable effects. What it *does* do is absorb quickly and weightlessly into my skin, leaving my complexion smooth, radiant, and supple. Even my mother, who is not given to handing out lavish compliments, recently remarked that my skin looks "gorgeous," and it does look good. I wasn't convinced that I even needed a serum, but since I had this, I gave it a try, and it's wonderful.
This serum is colorless, has no scent, and comes in a bottle with a screw-on dropper cap. The dropper is a little awkward for me, since I have full use of only one hand, but I can still manage.
This serum is a bit pricey, at $120, but if my fantastic results continue, I'll budget for it.

I must say this serum is one of the best I've tried. The problem with serums is usually that they are not hydrating enough. Some can even feel dry. Not this one. This serum goes on silky and absorbs very well. No greasy feeling at all, but no dry tight feeling, either. I love to use it under my foundation. My skin is oily enough, and I prefer to use oil-free/matting foundations and this serum does a terrific job of keeping my skin hydrated w/o the shine and the oil. Fdt goes on very smoothly on this and looks fresh, not dry. And my skin looks like that, too. I also use it on my neck.
The only problem is that for me is the price. However, I said I would re-purchase it. This brand is not cheap, but when you consider the absurdly high prices that most companies ask for their products, these days - and that you are paying mostly for the name, rather than the performance - Ujene prices are much more reasonable. I would recommend this.

I'm really excited about Puriste Collagen serum, as I started to see visible results after just one week; that's all the time it took for me to begin to see a visible reduction in the lines on my forehead and the beginning of laughter lines. Truth be told, from the very first application, my skin looked brighter.
The serum also helps to moisturize my skin; I've used it alone a few times and it smoothed away my patches of dry skin and left a slight dewy sheen to my skin. I do have severely dry skin though, so I do prefer to use the serum under moisturizer. Based on my results; I would say that if you have oilier skin, then you could probably skip moisturizer.
In addition to the moisturizing properties; after just a few weeks of using the serum twice a day [under Ujene's moisturizer] my skin has become noticeably more radiant and the expression lines on my forehead and my laugh lines have been reduced - I have to hold a mirror right up to my head to see any lines, as they've become so fine.
I've not suffered from any breakouts, itches or rashes on my dry and sensitive skin; something which 90% of creams, serums and other skin treatments I've tried do, so I'll be sure to re-buy (I've tried many different brands from all price ranges).

I finally found my HG serum! Abit pricey but definitely worth it in my case. I love how my skin soaks up all the goodness in just 15 seconds and leaves it feeling supple and hydrated for the rest of the day. I have ultra sensitive skin and it's been a tough battle finding a product that's suitable. I had used Genefique and Skinceuticals Phloretin CF but both contain denat alcohol and after bouts of breakouts I finally identified DA must be the issue so I avoid all serums that have that. My dry skin just reacts like crazy whenever an unsuitable product is used. I tried a sample and my skin did not react so I bought it. After just 2 weeks, I notice fine lines gone from my 'smile lines' around my cheeks. I find that really amazing. I guess the 10% collagen really works. I usually use a mist before the serum to lock in the moisture and that's working very well for me. It also contains hyaluronic acid and vit c, both work great for my skin. And best is, it is free from parabens so that's good enough for me.
