This is the strangest colour - a almost dark fushia with heaps of frost like something Estee Lauder would have brought out in the 80's you think it would be awful but it seems to be quite neutral when applied and looks fabulous paired with bronze and black shadows it just sets of my hazel eyes like nothing else.

This is such a pretty color! It's not to dark as you think it would be. I would defiantly buy it again (:

I was given an Estee Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadow Palette with 7 different colours in it, including this one. (They are: 13- Pale Moon, 09- Amethyst, 63- Mocha Cup, 23- Berry Ice, 50- Sand Box, 66- Bronze Cube, 11- Rose Confetti).
I don't really go for this colour. It's too purple-berry like for my liking. I have used it along with the Rose Confetti colour in the palette and it looks ok but nothing amazing.
I wouldn't purchase this colour on it's own, unless you're really into purples.

I was recommended this for my wedding day by the SA and I STILL love it 5 years on! Really makes my blue eyes pop!
Only thing I dislike is the packaging as the shadow broke but I think they have changed the packaging since then!

I hate this not soo much solely for the colour, but the pigmentation.
Barely to no colour shows up on my lids. Soo much for "Pure Color", I dont think soo! Probably the only Estee Lauder product I hate.

I love this colour! A bit on the "dramatic" side, and the name berry ice doesn´t fit 100% as there are some plum shades in it, but anyway: I love using this for the evening-looks. The quality is great, barely no creasing (I have very oily lids and I can even wear this without applying the primer and it creases only a little. when I wear the primer it stays perfect). The only point with this colour is: I have to be aware when applying it, as it´s really a strong colour (very pigmented) and I´m very pale. One can overdo it with this very quickly then and it looks like a bruise on the eye.. like someone punched me. But as I said: you can achieve great looks with this and it´s one of my favourite shades.

I do not like this color at all. It’s so unflattering. Its not much of a berry color either… its more of a plum shade than anything. It might suit other people, but it definitely doesn’t suit me!

This is the perfect reddish purple for making me look as if I have been up all night crying. On the plus side, the quality is excellent.

I bought this thinking hey I needed a nice plum colour. I am pale with dark brown eyes and dark red hair. This shade made my eyes look tired and awful. I used it dry as a contour colour and then wet for a thicker liner and it looked awful. It went onto my lid as a redish colour. The wet colour was nicer, it seemed to bring out the flecks of deeper purples in the shadow. Using it dry was the worst part. I will not buy this again. I have a red with gold flecks shadow already that I use and love if I want that look.
I think that if you have darker skin it should look better on you. But for fairer skinned people its a waste of money.

This is a gorgeous plum shade, w/ shimmer for a intense and dramatic look. I still want a darker plum shade.

too purple on the eyes. Does not really go with anything. It looked good when the MA tried it on me with candy cube, but way too dramatic for every day. hard to combine to the outfit u r wearing. Be very careful when putting on as it goes on really strong. Not worth the money at $40 each.

I got this shade w/the holiday 2005 gift set... and so far it has not flattered my skin. I will have to try using it as a liner though... that might improve it. When I have used it before, it makes my eyes look tired, irritated, and it just doesn't seem to go... but it probably works for other people. (I'm pale, brown hair, and green eyes by the way)
I would recomend trying this first at the counter, especially if this kind of shade is something that you have not used previously.

I'm a cool toned LLL (NW20) and this color looks very dark and rich in the pan but when you put it on, it's practically transparent unless you layer it over and over and over or use it wet.
As someone who is light and cool toned with blue/green/gray eyes, this gave me that lovely bruised look like MAC Trax.
I'm very happy that I got this as part of a gift set and had a chance to try it out for free because I sure as heck wouldn't spend money on this.

An intense and dramatic shade. I find it must be used sparingly as one time when I had a friend try to do my make up she made me look bruised. Lesson learned, fair, cool skintones need to shy away from over-applying this highly pigmented shade. Since then I've used it as a liner and very lightly on the outer corners on my eyes and it's worked fabulously.
The line of eyeshadows as a whole I absolutely adore because these are high quality shadows and are worth the money. I'd buy this product in a different, lighter shade.

Berry Ice is one of my favourites from Lauder. Its a shimmery rich berry plum that suits a wide variety of skintones. When I do makeup on people I often reach for this colour as it suits so many skintones.

such a beautiful color! this is one of the few shadows i can wear as a liner (wet) and dry as a contour or wash. berry ice is one of my staples and seems to last (even through sweaty and long workouts) without creasing or fading. i have med skin, green eyes & blonde hair, but i think this color would suit almost any skin tone (except very pale ones). it really brings the green out in my eyes without being too harsh or too subtle. so happy i stumbled upon it!

I got this in a pallette with 8 other colours. I never really wear this colour on its own and in fact i hardly ever use it unless i'm experimenting at home. One day i found it looks really good as an as eyeliner (i have dark brown eyes & am BB 01 warm ivory). I use a wet brush and the colour becomes more intense. It looks more violet burgundy. I'm definately going to be wearing this eyeshadow more now but i dont think i'll run out of it so i doubt i'll be buying it again

As a pale blonde with green eyes, I have to be careful with burgandy shades but this one is lovely. I have to line the inner rims of my eyes white, or else I look a little tired with this, but it's worth it. If I apply it dry, it doesn't move, and if I apply it with Visine it's staying power is even better, as well as appearing a little darker. The pigmentation of this product is just right--1 layer of it is enough. The texture is fantastic as well, it's so silky. Not a color I would have normally tried, but I'm glad I did.

Berry Ice is a very pretty bergundy colour. It has tiny gold flecks in it, and has nice pigment. I dont reach for this very often, but overall its not bad.

I remember reading once that fair-skinned women should be careful about burgundy-toned eye shadow, as it can make a pale person look tired (and magnify the appearance of "allergy eyes" like mine). That proved to be so true for me with both Berry Ice and Wine Cup. Normally, I have no problem with the soft sheen of Pure Color shadows, but in this case the sheen made the colors appear brighter, more fucshia-like than they appeared in the cubes. Whatever the undertones were meant to be that differentiated Berry Ice from Wine Cup, they were not apparent to me once on the lids. It obviously takes a certain type of coloring to make this much red work on the eyes, but since very few women will fit that description, these are the last shades I would recommend.
