I really like this mascara. It's been my go to mascara since its release! I really love that this mascara is gel formula because it gives long, full looking lashes without them looking brittle or feeling super hard. Even if my eyeliner has smudged or it's just been one of those days, this mascara trucks on and stays in place. So I definitely recommend this product.

Being a server, I am looking for stuff that last and this stuff does. I can also go without eyeliner if in a hurry as this really does make my eyes "pop". For the price, you can't beat this stuff.

I generally don't buy drugstore mascaras. Not because I'm a label snob but because most are disappointing. Maybelline is probably the second line that is guilty of marketing a ton of ho hum mascaras (L'Oreal is first). Since Maybelline has been coming out with a zillion new mascaras these days, I figured they might get one right. Admittedly, I was also sucked in by the claim that this is some sort of gel mousse. For some reason, I find that anything that is described as a gel or a mousse interesting.

I've used this for at least three months now and I find it to be pretty good. Nothing amazing (it won't give you mile long, gloriously thick lashes) but certainly not as bad as their other offerings (Great Lash...ugh!). The waterproof version also seems to hold up well. I never get flakies or panda eyes but I feel like this does sort of wear off throughout the day. I get that feeling from most drugstore mascaras so it's either psychological or they really do. I've found no trouble taking this off. I use Shu Uemura oil to remove my makeup and this just melts off.

The only con for this mascara is that the brush is a bit wobbly. By wobbly I mean that the stick on which the brush is attached seems like it's a bit looser than other brands. I suppose that is the "Flexor brush" which I guess is suppose to flex to your lashes? Whatever is it, I did notice it (and still do) when I apply it. The brush isn't loose enough to cause any damage and I suppose it does help apply the product when you wiggle it on your lashline, but it's still takes a bit getting used to.

Overall, I would recommend this as an everyday mascara. It gives enough length and volume to bring out your eyes but not enough to really cause a sensation so it's perfect for work or school. It's also moderately priced and can typically be found on sale at various stores.

This mascara is not amazing...but its definitely not half as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be. I bought this mascara in waterproof to use for concerts and when I go to workout since those are two occasions where I do not want my mascara to budge at all. I bought this because in the adverts the brush looked really full and I find that full brushes usually do best with my lashes. The brush isn't as full as it seems- I think the angle that the photographer used to take the photo of the brush makes the bristles look a lot more dense than they are- all those marketing tricks that they use! The wand has a little pinch in it near the brush to form around your lashes which I find a little tedious but not too bad. While I don't find that this mascara gives me a false lash feel at all, I do think it gives you really nice defined lashes for everyday. On the first coat your lashes are going to look super natural but once you have even a second coat on there you start noticing the difference though you never do get that super full look. I like that my lashes are soft after using this, they don't feel stiff and weighed down and the curl lasts. As well, its very waterproof, but easy to take off with the makeup remover of your choice. I know a lot of people love the packaging for Maybelline mascaras but I think it looks super tacky and cheap but luckily its not a product that I will be whipping out during the day to reapply. Nice mascara, but definitely nothing special.

I bought this mascara because it was very inexpensive and the packaging was cute. Little did I know that it would clump all of my lashes together. Then on top of that, it doesn't come off with anything! I tried all of my makeup removers (trust me I have a lot) and it still wouldn't come off. I do NOT recommend this product.

I have pretty long lashes and this flattered them! I know a lot of people think its to light but its just flexible yet at the same time stays in place. I highly recommend this product.
Edit: I thought this was good but ewww! It gets flakey and if I blink too much after applying it will give me raccoon eyes. Don't get it.

Love this mascara! It took me ages to find an inexpensive tube that wouldn't leave flakes on my cheeks. This formula stays on pretty well all day. It's not the best for adding length or volume, but it definitely makes a difference without having to touch up your makeup during the day.

My biggest complaint is the packaging! I've used at least 4 tubes now and the black stopper on the top ALWAYS comes lose. I have to shove it back in the tube or else the wand gets gloppy. Definitely makes a huge mess. At first I thought I got a bad tube, but it's happened every single time.
Also the wand itself isn't the best. It's a bit too fat. It's not very good at getting the smaller lashes on the inside of your eyes, but it's fine for the longer lashes on the outside.

Overall, great formula, poor packaging.

This is my first mascara I ever tried because I'm new to makeup. This did make my eyelashes look longer, fuller, and darker after applying a few coats. The wand is too big, so I feel like I might poke my eyes with it though. This smudges sometimes too and gives me panda eyes.

This was just average for me. It's ok for natural days but even then I have to curl my lashes, apply, curl again and apply again. Lengthens alright but no real volume and that kinda contradicts the name doesn't it? Wouldn't repurchase.

I like the mascara; however, it smudges more that I want and is not as waterproof as I wanted it to be. I run everyday after my classes and in the winter I swim. By the end of the day there is always some under my my eyes where I do NOT want it. I like it I guess, but it could be better. Not worth repurchasing though.

Big disappointment ! I thought this mascara will be better than the turbo classic that is my regular mascara but for my surprise was not good.

I didn't feel that it makes my lashes look fuller and longer, It just didn't work for me !

Aw man I was so optimistic! Great definition, no clumping, very soft texture, excellent curl hold on my spare, straight, short Asian lashes. It was beautiful for 4 straight hours. Then smears. And more smears. And some more smears. Topped off with some smudging. What a bummer. I really thought it was on it's way to a new daily work friendly mascara that made my lashes pretty and defined, but not too dramatic. Unfortunately, it isn't the case. The trash it goes.

Well I do like this mascara, however the commercial makes it sound like a completely different mascara! It is supposed to make you lashes really big and voluminous, but it almost gives a natural look! If you want the mascara because of what the commercial said it will do, then do not buy it! I have the waterproof version, so the regular may be different, but I doubt it.

Meh. Not plush enough. The formula is ok, but the wand is not. It's way too bendy and I never feel like I can get a lot on my lashes. If you want something thickening, this is not it at all. It's not awful, it just doesn't give any kind of lengthening or drama at all. Now maybe if I already had long lashes, this would be good for accentuating, but for those not as blessed, look elsewhere.

Kind of on the fence about this one. I do love the bouncy brush and the fact that it stays on all day with no flaking or irritation. My only beef is with the fact that it's called "volume" express. It did define and separate my lashes nicely, as well as lengthen them, but no volume was added. Even with a second coat, there wasn't much volume, and I normally don't need a second coat with most mascaras. So if you like a drier mascara for a natural look, and you don't need volume (for that, Falsies is much better) then this is a good one to try. It really gives a similar effect to One by One. May repurchase.

This is unquestionably my HG mascara, miles better than Diorshow or The Falsies or Million Lashes. I have naturally long but pale and fine lashes and deep-set eyes--with one coat of Mega Plush, my lashes touch my browbone and, with a bit of brown shadow at the outer corners, leave my eyes looking done without liner or much fuss. I have dark blonde hair, am a Soft Autumn, and wear this mascara in Brownish Black, and for me it is striking yet suitable for the office.

The dander from fiber mascaras would have my eyes irritated, red, and swollen by late afternoon, while this has done nothing to bother my sensitive eyes. I will say that it is quite difficult to remove without a long steam in the shower with a face full of cold cream, but I have never had issues with any leftover on my lashes interrupting the next day's application, or irritating my eyes. Also, I can cry for an hour straight and it doesn't budge--movie safe!

I just recently picked up this mascara, so I could try it out, and I have to say, I love it. It makes my lashes look great. I am very picky with my mascara wands, but I absolutely love this one. It is thick and applies the mascara amazingly. I must say, the blue and purple packaging is really cute, too. It stays on all day, and I don't find myself having to reapply it or touch it up. It doesn't make my lashes look clumpy, either. If you have been thinking about trying this product out, or on the lookout for a new mascara, definitely give it a try!

I was hesitant to get this mascara but me being a mascara junkie, I bought it anyways to try it out. I was surprised that I actually kind of like this mascara. What I love is the bristles on this brush. I have long eyelashes but they stick straight down so I curl them with an eyelash curler. When I sweep this on my eyelashes it defines and separates them fairly well. It doesn't give me that wow volume I want but for a natural look this mascara does the goods. It doesn't smudge at all and lasts all day.

I've been using this mascara for a little while now, enough to form an opinion, so I'd like to share my thoughts on it. Maybelline Mega Plush wp is the next in a long line of mascaras I've been trying to replace my HG Full n Soft wp in Blackish Brown. I had heard this product compared to FnS so thought I would give it a go. Well, it's not really a dupe for FnS imo. What I like about this mascara: It doesn't smudge or flake at all on me. I like the packaging, even the bendy wand which I was prepared to dislike is not bad at all. The product itself comes off easily when I want to remove it and doesn't leave my lashes dry or falling out. Actually my lashes feel soft. What I don't like: It looks natural, almost too natural. And I don't find that it's all that buildable. It doesn't add much volume to my lashes, which is one of the claims. So, overall, this is a decent everyday mascara, but it doesn't live up to the claim of creating voluminous lashes. It is good for defining (separating) and darkening the lashes, but is still too natural looking for me. Will be moving on to another mascara after I finish this one.
