This is a good matte fdn, light to medium coverage, rather matte looking. It is OK on my slight oily T zone but I tried to be careful not to overdo it on my dry cheek. I find it more useful as a finishing powder.
One thing I don't like is that rubber (Nars) type of package.

I bought this at my local Ulta store. I've been using everyday minerals for a few years but was ready for a change. I read a few reviews here & whittled down my choices & went with the IT Celebration base. I've tried a couple powder foundations from drugstores but they were too heavy for me & I felt very greasy/oily from them. I don't get that from the IT cosmetics base at all. Coverage is great, it applies easily & blends well for me. I have some scarring & it covers nicely with this base. Best part is, at the end of the day, my face still has makeup & I'm not a grease pit, which for me is huge.
I like the rubbery case but it's a little fiddly to open. I have to use my fingernail to open or just the mirrored part opens. When I finish this package, I'll definitely buy from qvc.com to get the brush included, I'm using a cheap one I picked up at Ulta. I generally don't pay this much for makeup but I think the results are worth it. The color match was good; the store only stocked three shades, not sure if they make more, if so, I may go one shade lighter next time.

This one was a flop for me. I was really excited to try this product out, held off for a couple of months since I have been really loving the pressed powder from the pur minerals line. So when my local ulta ran out of my shade, I figure it was a good time to try something new. There is so much hype around the it cosmetics line, especially this powder. Anytime I'm at ulta there are always a group of women hovering around the it cosmetics section. After being matched and reassured by the sa that I was going to really love this product, I took it home excitedly, waiting to do my makeup. So I get home and put it on. The color match is spot on, but it did feel a little tacky even after it set. The powder itself does seem to have a creamy texture, unlike the pur minerals I am so used to. It did have nice medium coverage and I didn't bother trying to build it up since I was satisfied with one layer. This is claimed to be a full coverage foundation and I can see it being that. But after 5 hours of wear time, my face felt a big itchy and I noticed two large bumps on my cheek and chin. Tried it out the next day and after four hours, had to wash it off since my face felt really gross. I returned it the next day. I did notice that this product does contain ascorbyl palmitate, which can be a comedogenic ingredient. Not entirely sure if this was the culprit of my two now very large zits, but I'm not willing to make it worse. I'll gladly stick to pur minerals.

I was using Cargo powder which I do like for taking photos but being a woman of age(55) it did settle into line if I used too much, but I too saw the lady on TV. But I only have broken capillaries on my cheek and around my nose so I got this IT powder and I really do love it too. Just like some else said your face needs to be prepped. I moisture and use primed and pore less. And do a little spot concealer of my sunspots and my bright white concealer under my eyes(I don't really need it but I like it) and then use this powder and I really do love it. I finish and highlight and blush with Too Faced No Makeup Makeup ! I like that it has NO talc and NO Mica!

First, I think you ladies need to know the condition of my face. My HBC caused horrible cystic acne along with regular pimples along my jawline. They were appearing faster than they would heal, leading to very noticeable scarring and hyper-pigmentation. My skin is finally in check after starting a strict Clarisonic regimen
I've used BB cream for the most part to provide daily humanizing of my face. Most provided some coverage for the lighter scars, but there was a lot more that needed to be covered. Since I had just recovered from the worst break out of my life, I didn't want to touch any heavy make up that could break me out again.
I was sitting up one night watching QVC with my mom while I was home visiting and they were showing IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation. I loved the brush and the way the models looked after just a few swipes of the brush. I read some reviews and acne prone people didn't seem to have too many issues with this product, so I went ahead and ordered it.
Before I start on the product, let me echo what everyone seems to have said so far..THE BRUSH IS AMAZING. It feels sturdy yet delightfully soft. This brush is just perfect.
So...on to the foundation.
I got the compact out. I adore the packaging. It's not slick, it's rubberized, so it doesn't fly out of my hands like a hockey puck when I'm in a hurry. The latch is very secure, so if I throw it in my purse or my overnight bag, I don't have to worry about a huge mess (I had this issue with Bare Minerals. Even when I managed to not crack the lids (I travel a lot) it seemed to have phantom make up dust all over the packaging, even though I always wiped the outside down, which led to whatever it was touching having that sparkly tan dust embedded until I could wash it). Even though it's secure, it's not hard to get open. It might sound super picky, but I want to have my product secured without having to break a nail to get it open. They definitely got it right with this compact.
I was all a tizzy to try the foundation, after all, I got this to hopefully find something to make me feel human again, not just to play with the packaging. Usually, I get medium colored make up (Garnier's BB cream in medium was damn near a perfect blend), but after reading reviews I decided to get one color darker, Tan. I was a little surprised opening up the foundation as it looked a bit lighter than most mediums look!
My first application was midway through the day on a bare face (a few hours after cleansing, toning, & moisturizing). I was a bit disappointed that one swipe didn't cover my scars. It looked very chalky and light on my skin (although it did get rid of my slight bags with one brush). I was a bit disheartened as I really enjoyed the texture while I was applying it. It was light and velvety. I was overjoyed that I didn't have a huge mess all over my sink to clean up afterwards, too.
I wasn't ready to give up on this foundation. I really wanted it to be the HG product it promised to be, so I decided to give it another go. I was going to a job interview and had gotten up early enough that if it looked bad, I still had more than enough time to cleanse and start over.
Timing with this product made all the difference. Since I had just cleansed, toned, and moisturized, the powder seemed to sit MUCH better on my skin. It definitely is not full coverage, but it does offer a very buildable coverage without feeling or looking artificial like with SB Halo Perfecting Powder (which isn't necessarily bad, depending on the occasion) or looking caked on like Bare Minerals if you try to build coverage with it.
I'm one of those that tends to be heavy handed because I like to see the product on my brush, but I controlled my urge to swirl the every living crap out of the pressed powder and imitated Jamie's two swipe technique. Buffing is definitely the way to go. I'm not usually patient with things like that, but I buffed my little heart out and low and behold! I'm seeing coverage!
It usually takes one coat for my whole face (two swipes of powder for each side) for general coverage, but to cover the scars, I have to apply a little more after the initial buffing. The coverage is phenomenal. You can't see a difference in texture between the areas where I did multiple applications. When I used to use BM, even though the color would remain even, you could definitely see a difference with the texture on areas I was trying to get more coverage on, making it obvious that I was trying to cover.
It goes on light, but if you give it a few minutes to set, it starts to look like the right color.
I usually have to wear concealer to get complete, perfect coverage, even with building with SB Halo. Building with Celebration, I can get near perfect coverage. It's not lacking enough to need to use concealer to achieve perfection, since it's not noticeable unless I'm an inch from the mirror. It doesn't into pores or whatever topography your face has, so even my raised scar is invisible. Despite hiding all my scars, my skin doesn't feel clogged. It's been a few weeks, and there's not a zit in sight!
Unlike some other powders, it doesn't oxidize, so there's no worrying about becoming an oompa loompa while you're out.
I'm a bartender, so I have to look good. The first time wearing this to work, I packed the compact in my purse in case it settled or changed colors. Despite sweating and occasionally splashing liquids, I was surprised that I didn't need any touch ups, and my scars remained perfectly covered over my double shift.
I love that I don't look artificial wearing it either. When I wear it with just mascara, people comment on how flawless my natural complexion is (if they only knew!). It also is great with blush and bronzer. They show up really nicely with this foundation, so I don't have to shellac them on to get nice color, like I had to with Bare Minerals.
Basically, I'm in love with the brush and the foundation. I've found my new HG

Ugh - I wanted this to work so badly, but it goes back today :o(.
I tried this foundation on in Ulta a couple of times before taking the plunge and buying the QVC Package (with the brush). The first time in Ulta, I did half of my face and audibly gasped - I looked absolutely flawless. Airbrushed. But once I walked outside, it was like every imperfection I had was magnified by 1000 for the whole world to see.
On me, this product seemed to do the exact opposite of everything it claimed to do. It looked unbelievably dry and powdery. It was like someone had taken a handful of white flour and sneezed it onto my face. It caked and cracked and wore off in little places within minutes. It settled into every fine little wrinkle I had and made me look 20 years older. And, on top of all that, it unfortunately made me break out in little whiteheads all over my face, and caused some sort of awful scaly skin reaction on my entire jaw and lower lip.
I tried it on dry skin, with different primers, with different moisturizers, with hydrating setting sprays, all to no avail. I stippled and/or buffed teeny amounts at a time. Still, it always looked like I had a full face of pancake makeup. The best way to describe it, as I've read here and on the QVC site, is that it looked like "morticians makeup". Yes, the brush is nice, but back it goes to QVC!
EDIT - It has been two days since I stopped using this powder. My entire face has been dried out and become very scaly, but it's getting better every day. My chin and jaw are especially bad - it's so tight I feel like a ventriloquist doll! I am sure that this product caused some sort of allergic reaction which irritated my skin, but I'm hoping that with a few more days of pampering that it will be back to normal :o(!

I wouldn't normally write a review after one day but I'm going to this time! For reference I'm 48, dry-ish skin, can get oily in my t-zone so I do blot that a few times a day ICCF...the color in Light (Light/Medium) is PERFECT for my skin, it arrived yesterday after work so like any excited person I packed it on OVER my makeup. Not good. It was really dry looking on my nose to mouth lines but I decided to bite the bullet and wear it to work today but not over an already made up face. I used a small brush to "conceal" a few (hundred) broken capillaries on my face then applied over my face with the brush that came with it. I did not use it under my eyes...yet. I will this weekend. Amazing how much more youthful you can look with "good skin". It looked amazing! I was careful around my nose to mouth area but it looked great! I did not have to touch it once. NOT ONCE. My skin looked flawless but not dry and cakey, it actually looked a little luminous and natural as if I had great skin.My job? Industrial Hygiene... hardly a cushy, climate controlled office job.I worked an industrial ventilation job all day, we were sweating like mad! My makeup didn't budge, fade, smear, smudge, move, oxidize...nothing. I looked near perfect coming out of that job. I only blotted twice. I will update in a few days.

I love this foundation powder. It is the first powder that has not broken me out and does not look caked on. I love knowing Im putting on a product thats great for my skin and Im so happy Ulta started carrying it now.

This is, without a doubt, the best powder foundation on the market right now. The coverage is excellent and it gives you a sort of healthy glow. In Canada, on the Shopping Channel, it's often included in the Showstopper and that's when I stock up. Price is unbeatable this way. With the exception of the line's eye shadows, IT Cosmetics is all I wear now. Amazing, wonderful products.

OMG I love this stuff!! It's so quick and easy to apply. No primer needed and your complexion looks beautiful! I have issues with sun spots on my face and redness around my nose. I've been looking for my HG foundation for YEARS and this is it. The brush alone is worth the cost of admission. This foundation lasts all day for me in the August heat and humidity of FL. When I wash my face at 8:00 at night my face is still flawless. No sensitivity or irritation issues with this like I've had with mineral foundations. Will def buy again and will try their concealer next!
