This is a lovely shade--it has been described well below, so I have nothing to add there. I've worn it and enjoyed it for years. The application isn't that smooth, but a little chapstick helps with that.

This is a great colour to wear with warms shades or anything pinky or red-toned. Le Lipstique is by far my favorite liner. This comes with a brush so that you can blend it out, and I find this colour to be versatile-you can wear it during the day with more neutral colours or wear it dressed up with deeper-toned shades. Personally I have been wearing this with Lancome's Le Rouge Absolue in Rendez-vous.

Love this (I love all of these that are a good match for me - the glide on and wear and blend like a dream!). It is just a little lighter and brighter pink than I expected (I ordered it online after people here described it as a browner pink), but it is very close to my natural lip color, so it is a great every day, and I can always mix it with something a tad browner for a better effect!

I bought this liner after seeing a sample and Saks; unfortunately they were out of it so I bought in online at Lancome.com. On the monitor, the liner looks bright red. On the contrary, it is actually very natural-neutral and goes well with my pink lipsticks like Lancome's impulse. I layer Simmer from their Juicy tube over it. The nice thing about the lancome liners is that they go on smoothly and fill in easily. Mars also goes well with beige-brown lipsticks so it is a good purpose all around liner, good for day or night.

I've been wearing this since 1995 and love it. I find the Le Lipstique collection to be the only one i could wear that doesn't bleed. This particular color is very versatile. I've worn it with reds, pinks and browns. Blends beatuifully

Mars is a shimmering wine color. It's pretty but I find so many problems with the Lancome liners that I won't be repurchasing this color. The only color I'll repurchase is Glacelle, which seems to be completely different from the way the other Le Lipstique colors wear.

Great color and staying power. Goes best with rose colored lipsticks.

This product is a staple in my makeup drawer. Lancome's Le Lipstique pencils are the best liners available on the market, far exceeding all competitors. Mars is a shimmery coper/burnt-red color that can be layered light or dark depending on the desired look. The consistency of the liner is incredibly smooth and moist, but it doesn't budge once its applied. And, on the opposite end is a nice lipbrush for blending! The only downside to this product is that its so costly! But well worth every penny!

Mars is like 666 lippencil from Wet and Wild only ten times more expensive. I think this has a better texture than the 666. Its a warm pinky brown shimmer. Just beautiful.
