I like this mascara! I have pretty long lashes to begin with and I just prefer volumizing mascaras. The mascara wand is definitely a little different from some other mascaras that I've tried in the past, I don't know how to explain it. It volumizes quite well with two coats and most importantly, it holds my curl up fantastically (12+ hours).

I took one lippy off because I don't find it to be *perfectly* waterproof. I still do get slight smudging at the corners of my eyes by the end of the day. Nothing embarrassing enough to make me stop using the product (but to be fair, I have that problem with almost all waterproof mascaras).

My review is for the black smoke version. I really like it. It's a dark matte color. It does make my lashes look very plush. It's surprising that I like this because I've tried the regular version in very black and I hated it.

I decided to use this product as it was recommended by a friend! After using it, I usually don't like a lot of makeup on my face but this mascara was just right it gave a nice voluminous lash while being very sudtle.

I bought this product because L'Oreal is usally known for good makeup and mascara. I was WRONG, the brush is horrible and the mascara clumps and wearing and flakes off within two hours.

This has got to be one of my top five worst mascaras I have ever tried. The brush looked so full and wonderful like the original voluminous mascara. I decided to try it out because the original is my favorite mascara. This unfortunately was horrible. The bristles poked my eyes and transferred almost no product to my lashes. It does not I repeat does not add any volume or length whatsoever to my eyelashes. I am just sad I did not keep my receipt to exchange this for a better product.

this mascara didn't add any volume or length. it barely defined my lashes. i can't tell if it was because the formula was too dry or the brush just didn't pick up enough product... but it actually felt like the brush was scratching, tugging, dragging through my lashes. i could only do one coat because the moment the mascara touched my lashes the brush started to feel like it was raking roughly and futilely through even through secondary swipes of the first application. it also seemed to irritate my eyes with days of consecutive use. the only good thing was that it held my curl... but then again, most if not all wp mascara would do the same. fail product. returned to store and will not ever try again.

This is a prime example of a mascara with a great formula but a horrible brush. The formula is great (as I find with most L'Oreal mascaras)- the waterproof is actually waterproof and it doesn't smudge. Couldn't ask for much more in a formula. As for the brush, I personally don't like it at all. I find it clumps together my lashes a lot- I have to do a few coats in order to properly separate my lashes.
My advice? By Voluminous Million Lashes in waterproof instead. Its formula is just as good, but with a better brush. It's my HG mascara for sure, and the only mascara I've ever found myself coming back to everytime.

I love this mascara so much. I have what my friends call 'baby lashes', so I need mascaras with thick, bristle-y wands. I wasn't actually expecting much, but wow! It does a really nice job of coating every lash without clumping. I absolutely ove this brand, but I can't say I would recommend this, mainly because of the fact that everyone's lashes are different.

I love this mascara. After having two favorites (L'oreal Grande Curl, Shiseido Lasting Lift) discontinued I've been floundering trying to find something that gave me volume and held curl. My lashes are long, but straight. I tried three different high-end mascaras just to watch the curl fall out before I even finished my makeup, and they also smudged a bit underneath my eyes. This one goes on nicely, does not clump, gives me great-looking lashes and doesn't come off at all--and I have oily eyes.

I'm a mascara fanatic and I've literally tried them all. The latest 2 were Diorshow and Benefit Bad Gal. Dior was nothing special,,,just blah and Bad Gal gave me the dreaded panda eyes. What I'm always looking for is volume and a deep black color. Dior gave me no volume whatsoever and Bad Gal did give volume but ran. I'm absolutely blown away by this new mascara that I just stumbled upon at Target. I have **never** ever seen my lashes look like this!! They don't even look real! They are so thick yet soft. And as far as running, I put it on and went outside in 80 degree weather and worked on the yard for 2 hours. I came back in certain to see smudging,,,,,and no smudging!!!! It seems whenever I fall in love with a product (which is rare) it becomes discontinued. So,,tomorrow I'm headed to Target and Walmart and buying them all up and storing them in my private vault.

Ugh. What a waste of money. The only good thing I can say about this is that it separates your lashes. Other than that, it does nothing. If you want to darken your lashes and look like you're not wearing anything, you can use this. Otherwise, it's useless.

I bought this on sale at Target so it was only $5.99. Most mascaras can't hold a curl to my short Asian lashes, but this one did a fantastic job! It didn't give me a whole lot of volume, despite the name, but it drastically lengthened my lashes with the "collagen fibers". Although it's supposed to last 24 hours, this mascara gave me panda eyes after a few hours, no flaking though. But I have to say, most drug-store mascara give me the panda eyes anyway. Application is good, no clumping but the brush is enormous! A little overwhelming when using it on my small Asian eyes!

Epic fail. I didn't see much volume, it made my lashes feel stiff and crunchy and it was pretty clumpy. I prefer waterproof mascara so that I don't wind up with racoon eyes after my lunch-time walk. It's not quite 70 degrees here today, cloudy, but pretty humid. I just returned from my walk, and there's lots of flakes under my eyes. This mascara could not withstand humidity and light persperation. I had no trouble removing it, because most of it had already worn off.

I think I would like the regular version of this stuff better than the waterproof...but not sure. When I first applied this it looked like nothing was happening; I wasn't seeing the lush lashes that the regular Voluminous wp gives me. This is also one of the driest formulas I have ever seen come out of L'Oreal. By the time my lashes were built up the lashes looked clunky and crisp. I hated it immediately. At the end of the day,I used my MAC Cleanse Off Oil and my face cleanser and NOTHING was getting this stuff off of my eyes. It was coming off in balls/flakes...but I could still feel it on my lashes. I followed up with a Neutrogena face wipe and SK eye makeup remover and was still struggling to remove it all. This makes CG LashBlast wp look like a cake walk to get off! I am done...I do not need a mascara this harsh.
