I picked this up at the store because it was on sale. Plus I had just bleached parts of my hair and needed a good shampoo. I actually really like the shampoo. It made my hair so much healthier looking and the shampoo smells amazing. Not gonna lie though, all of the reviews about people's hair falling out scared me pretty bad but I've been using the shampoo for a month now and my hair is fine.

i have dry hair that is falling out. but i am 56 so thats probably normal. i have been trying shampoos for a few months and never found a quick result. i have used the Clear Scalp and Hair now about half a dozen times.i always alternate my shampoos it was amazing the first time, my hair felt so young and thick..i thought i would use it forever. but it is so rich and heavy i will most likely just use it two or three times a week. especially since i saw the hair loss comments. ill keep and eye on it.

At first, I absolutely loved this duo. My hair is extremely over processed thanks to a bad idea involving bleach. I have always had oily hair and dandruff. When I first gave this a shot, it completely cleaned up my scalp and I didn't need to use anti-dandruff products anymore. It also took my frizzy ends and gave me some beautiful waves.
Fast forward two months to right now. My hair gets extremely oily in no time. I'm talking washed on Wednesday and by Friday it already looks like I went a week without washing. It is THAT bad. My dandruff is still managed but at this point the greasy hair is not worth it. I have noticed that when I'm actually using the products in the shower, that they do leave a sort of film on my hair. When I'm rinsing the conditioner out, it mixes with the water and sometimes it gets on my face and lips and I can literally feel some residue left on my face from the conditioner. That HAS to be what's up with the greasy roots after 2 days.
My ends are alright, but they're straw compared to my oily roots. I guess it's done a little too much "nourishing" to my scalp. I loved it at first, but over time it really builds up in your hair and makes you a little grease bucket.

This shampoo and conditioner is amazing! Recently I purchased the new tresemme keratin smooth shamp and cond. It was freakin horrible my hair was dry, dull, and frizzy. I returned it and bought these Clear Scalp and Therapy products and fell in love. It's the same cheap price as tresemme and it made my hair shiny, soft, and it smells really good. My boyfriend has long hair and even he can't stay out of my hair products. I think I found my new shampoo and conditioner. I would recommend using a clarifying shampoo every once in a while, because I can see this product most likely
leaving some build up. That's really not a big deal to me. But seriously try this stuff!

I purchased Clear Scalp and Hair Therapy Ultra Shea as a replacement for my regular hair product which has not arrived yet. I thought the smell was good and definately needed some moisture in my hair and scalp. I will NEVER purchase this product again. My scalp feels greasy and so does my hair. I have rinsed this stuff out 3 times and as a last resort I used Dawn to wash my hair to get this stuff out of it. Nothing is working...My hair looks greased and nasty! What on earth do I need to do to get this stuff out of my hair?

Pros
+Makes your hair so soft and smooth!
+Makes your hair more manageable
+Smells really good and the scent lasts
+Cheap
Cons
+Waaaaaay more hair loss than usual & tangles when I got out of the shower
This shampoo would be a holy grail in my book if I didn't loose so much hair using it. Lucky I have a lot of hair so I will continue to use it. I'm not sure if it just feels thinner because it is smooth or if I did lose a good amount. Lots of clumps came out in my brush so we will see what happens in the long run!

I purchased this product on a whim solely on its fragrance (my husband loved the smell at the store) so I had little expectations except that it might make my hair smell good. I used it and after just that one use i'm amazed. I just chopped off most of my hair due to chemical damage, but it's still dry & the ends are split and frizzy. This shampoo and conditioner smoothed out my hair from root to tip. My split ends are smooth, you can barely tell they are split. My hair is shiny, soft, manageable and I can actually run my fingers through it!! I'm so excited and in love with this (which is rare for me, i've literally tried EVERY shampoo and conditioner from $1 deals to $100 professional products). If you are sensitive to fragrance I would not use a lot because it is strongly scented and the scent lasts (major plus for me, i love the lasting smell of freshness). It isn't too expensive so at least give it a try, you will be pleasantly surprised like I was!

Initially in the first week or so, I would have to have agreed. In fact, I bragged to my family about it and got my mom to by the peoduct, as she could see the difference in my hair right away (as said in most of these reviews). Three weeks later I find myself in the Dr.'s office balling my eyes out because I have lost half of my hair in less than a month and I don't know why. I had to get blood tests (and await the results!), endure the emotional havoc that is losing your hair at 27, and spend way too much time crying. All of this distress and money spent for me finally put two-and-two together, and go back to my Head and Shoulders and some random conditioner I was using for that month for ONE day, and I had only about 5-10 strands of hair fall out. If there is an ingredient that may cause people to be more susceptible to an allergic reaction, this needs to be addressed. Or the company needs to be responsible for what this is causing some people. Just use with caution, and if you notice an unusual amount of hair falling out, STOP using this product immediately because it doesn't take long.

While I haven't really noticed whether this sham/cond combo has retained the color of my hair any longer than the other color safe products I've used in the past, I HAVE noticed over the course of a few weeks that my hair seems in to be in overall better condition. My hair seems to have grown longer (usually it stops growing at a certain length) and feels softer, silker, and and less frizzy than normal. It also seems to have helped thicken it up a bit, if that's possible! Overall I'm very pleased:)

I absolutely love this product, as well as it's conditioning counterpart. My hair is very dry and brittle, and I suffer from a dry and itchy scalp. However, my hair is also very fine and easily weighed down at the roots, causing a greasy and unpleasant look and feel. I have been desperately looking for a moisturizing-yet-non-greasy shampoo and conditioner to soothe the itch and hydrate my frizzy ends, my most recent endeavor being Pantene Aqua-Light. It worked okay for moisture, but the itch was still there! After I used this shampoo just once, my hair was so silky and shiny I could not stop touching it. And the itch and dry scalp? Gone. I grew up thinking conditioner did not go on your scalp, but this shampoo and conditioner are changing that way of thinking! Best shampoo and conditioner ever!!

3.5 stars......... i got this first as a trial sample and i loved it. i used total care. then i actually went out and bought fullsize s/c in the color damage line and it was........meh. i love the scent but it isnt super moisturizing or anything, but it doesnt make my hair greasy and i like that. by using this s/c combo, i can wash my hair every other day whch i like because it keeps it healthier (i love washing my hair everyday to keep fresh but its just too stripping). anyways ... im undecided if i would repurchase. its good but im not crazy about it.

Update: Someone else had said that they had had hair loss after using this. Now I'm not saying it is related at all, however at the same time I experienced some hair loss as well. To the point I went and had my thyroid checked, etc. Everything was fine but I was (and still am) going through a stressful period in my life. The hair loss has stopped, thank goodness, but I just wanted it to be known. Again, I'm not positive it was due to this at all and I will keep my rating at three. Original Review: I love the smell and the packaging! I have the conditioner for Color Treated Hair. I have used this on and off for a couple of weeks and it does make my hair very soft and shiny - however it weighs my fine, long blonde hair down like crazy. I will use it up on days I just put my hair in a bun or ponytail but I won't buy this again.

I LOVE this product! I have suffered from eczema or dermatitis on my scalp for YEARS...anyway, I didn't have my hopes too up for this but, wow!!! It left my hair shiny, soft and less frizzy. I had beautiful, glossy hair and really can't say enough about how much I loved this. I had tried the Shea line (including the drop and the balm) because my hair is so frizzy and dry. It was too heavy for me. The color care one was just right. I have colored my hair so much over the years, the damage has been unimaginable. I just dyed my hair blonde and it looks healthy. I use the conditioner as a deep masque by leaving it on for a long time while I do housechores, etc.

the only good thing about this shampoo and conditioner is the bottle. this is a new shampoo being marketed on tv right now which i dont understand how a shampoo/ conditioner chucked full of 3 different silicones will help ur scalp?? if anything its going to make your scalp more dry. i have curly hair so my hair always needs moisture :) i belive there should NEVER be silicones in shampoo because thats what cleans all the buildup off your scalp and hair. if you keep using sh/cn with silicones it just builds up on your hair suffocating the hair shaft invest in a shampoo and conditioner that will actually fix damage like human hair keratin like joico offers. no silicones to cover up damaged areas. worked in hair care indusrty for 4years. this is my opinion from what i have learned.

I use to love this, my original review was 5 stars, until i started loosing my hair. I switched to the length version of this and am not losing any. If you like the pros but wanna keep your hair, the length version is that way to go!
