It lacks pigment. I bought black, but it looks gray. It is very easy to apply, but smells like a sharpie and is not dark at all.

Dirt cheap and easy to apply, but lacks in the pigment department..severely... Would not repurchase.
Mine is in black though.

not so HD! I only like this bc its fun to play with and I know that ill eventually use the tip of this to apply my gel liner once the product runs out. this stuff is watery, streaky, patchy, and even if you go over it a bunch of times it wont get opaque. it smudges. its better to spend on the nyc liquid liner with a brush tip. don't leave this upside down for a long period or else the ink will spill out everywhere into the cap leaving you a huge mess. I make sure to leave this in my purse if I want to put a nice sheer black line on my lids for a verry subtle look but other than that, its not that great of a product.

It's not bad for the price! I've worn it for 8 hours straight a few times without re-application and haven't noticed smudging or fading (note: have not had the chance to test it in warm weather). The marker tip allows you to make both thick and thin lines. The color is a bit sheer and you need to apply more than one layer to achieve an "extra black" line.

DO NOT BUY THIS EYELINER. IT IS NOT PIGMENTED AT ALL AND VERY WATERY. I was on the hunt for a good felt tip eyeliner and this got pretty good reviews so I decided to try it. I usually like NYC products however this one is horrible. When I got home and tested this on my hand the color was a horrible grey/green color. I thought I would just because it was new so I tried to use it more. It still stayed the nasty grey color. When I tried to wash this off my hand it left a green stain on my hand! I really wished I could return it now because I just wasted my money. NEVER GOING TO BUY THIS AGAIN.

This is the BEST liquid liner I have found to date. I have tried the high end ones and I cannot justify paying that much for a cosmetic item I run through so quickly. The Loreal Lineur intense was garbage to me. The tip never stayed precise and the formula was very thin. All the other drugstore ones just do not compare to this one.
The NYC liner's tip is the perfect width and comes to a beautiful point. Precise enough I can get right into the lash light with no gaps. The NYX one was waaaaayyy too thin to make a nice cat eye. NYC's is insanely pigmented and the formula is thick enough it doesn't look like I took a Sharpie to my eye.
Try it! For the price its at least giving a shot!

I was so disappointed in this, the only good thing I can say about this is that it is extremely precise but other than that I can't recommend it in any way. The pigmentation was horrible and I couldn't get it to stay on my lid without a primer . All in all I returned an will never buy again

This stuff is average, I've given it three lippies because of the price. It's a pain to apply though, especially if you've used an eyeliner that delivered fluid, dark color. This one does the opposite. I have to use the side of the pen to apply it because using the tip wouldn't give much color. Application takes a lot of going over, because the color sucks! It hardly goes on and when it does it's more like a black watercolor that fades to grey.

This is fine for beginners, like for young girls who are just starting out. Reason why I say this is because it's easy to wipe off with your fingers, meaning you can fix any cat eye that you feel is uneven. For me, that means that I can use this pen to first draw on the shape of the cat eye I want, and then go over it with a darker (better) liquid liner.

LOVE! I didn't expect much from this eyeliner as it was very cheap and wasn't high end! But I love this so much! I have oily lids and they stay put as long as I put on moisturizer or primer. It's a pigmented color and stays very dark and has extremely easy application! Definitely a favorite

This liner does not stay put! I wouldn't say I have particularly oily lids at all, but this stuff can be wiped away with a light touch. Not to mention it smudges under my eyes and gives me raccoon eyes and occasionally transfers to my creases. The smell is also not to pleasant, it smells just like a marker. Speaking of marker, it looks like one and goes one similar to one, which isn't a bad thing. It applies very smoothly and darkly, it does not build up and crack/peel like other eyeliners do. But the fact that the staying power doesn't exist is definitely a deal breaker for me.

This is simply the best liquid eyeliner I've tried. I didn't like it at first because it applies a bit differently from most liquid eyeliners I've used, but once you get the hang of it it goes on much more smoothly and evenly than just about any other product. It's not too wet and lasts a long time, and at $3-4 the price can't be beat.

I LOVE this eyeliner! So happy I found this. If you struggle with drawing cat eyes, buy this. I was able to draw a decent cat eye with this liner on my first try, ie, this eyeliner makes drawing cat eyes EASY! :) Most liquid eyeliners will transfer to my upper lids when I blink- this product does not do that., thank goodness! Usually my eyelashes get in the way of drawing lines on my upper lids. I think the firmness of this eyeliner's tip helps significantly. I do wish the color was a bit darker, I think one of the previous reviewer was right in saying that it's because the manufacturer packaged it right-side up. I just lay the pen horizontally/flat on my make-up stand.

I love using this when I'm giving makeovers to my friends and sisters! I knew this product wasn't for me when i bought it given my pale skin with red hair. Even though it looks HORRIBLE on me I LOVE using this product on anyone else who can pull off the black eyeliner! It is very easy to apply with a nice even look!

my HG eyeliner! i wasn't thrilled with this eyeliner the first time i used it, luckily i tried it again recently and am super pleased with it. I'm awful when it comes to applying liquid eyeliner, and the brush on this is makes it easier than most, and is just the right firmness. The color is nice, it's not super intense but it's definitely a solid black. The best thing about this is the staying power, and that it absolutely does not transfer to the area above my lids. Every single eyeliner I've ever used, liquid/pencil/gel/etc has always transferred. I was expecting this one to, but it doesn't. It does fade after a few hours so I carry it with me for touch ups. I've left the cap off accidentally for longer than I should, and it hasn't dried out.

I was using a Revlon pen similar to this, and it was about 8-9 bucks per pen. I randomly picked this up at walmart for $3.99 and debated about it before leaving. ("It probably flakes, or isn't very dark.") I'm so happy I tried it though!

The black is pretty dark and wears wonderfully! I experience no flaking or smudging with it! If you've never used a pen eyeliner they can take a few uses to get use to but this one is super easy to get a thin or thick line.I still have a Revlon pen to finish up but I always grab my NYC one instead. I will be repurchasing!

That being said, I feel like I should add I refer to these eyeliner pens as being "water based." Meaning they're not meant for the water line and erase quickly if they come into contact with water. For me that's a positive because it washes off easily. Or if you make a mistake when applying a q-tip with a little water will fix it no problem. Great if you make the line to thick!

I used this eyeliner for the first time at a dance and it stayed on all night. It was very inexpensive at Target for only about $2. It has a very skinny felt, very similar to a marker and makes very clean strokes. I do not plan on purchasing this product in the future because it isn't waterproof and can could easily be removed by accidentally swiping your eye.

Wow! This is a million times better than I was expecting. With eyeliner, I really just want something simple, easy to apply, and won't crease/smudge. This is exactly that. The felt tip is small and easy to maneuver. It is super cheap, I think it was around $3. I was very worried it would leave a ring on my eyelid by the end of the day, but it did not! My only complaint, which isn't even the product's fault, is that the manufacturer packaged it right-side up, making all the ink to sink to the bottom of the pen. If you buy this and find the color is not rich enough, sit it in a cup upside down and leave it there over night. You will find that the color will be a lot darker :)

I'm so, so surprised at how amazing this is. I picked it up for $3, and it's got amazing staying power and it's a very dark black. It stays all day on my oily, hooded lids without smudging or flaking off, and the point is nice and fine without being hard. You can get a thin or thick line very easily. Great product overall!

I love this! This is the only eyeliner pen that I can use easily and not mess up.It can easily make either a thick or thin line. The formula is really black with just one swipe and it doesn't seem to fade throughout the day.If you are a beginner or an expert i think you'll love this.
