I bought this initially because I loved the colour and it was so inexpensive. After I purchased, I read some reviews because I was curious on its performance and was worried because there were so many negative comments. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this nail polish! I have it in the colour Peach Smoothie and it is pretty good! It takes about 3 coats for it to be opaque, but that is not a big deal to me as I have some essie nail polishes that are the exact same. Staying power seems to be pretty good so far, and for the price you really can't go wrong!

I brought urban turquoise and it stained my nails! Absolutely gutted as it looked like a great colour...it isn't going to come off until my nails grow them out. Such a shame but is not worth buying

I bought the Maybelline Color Show polish in 380 Porcelain Party to use as a base for some nail art. I did not want to spend too much since I would be practicing.
The color is white, think white-out. It does not go on even or offer good coverage. I think if you were to use it alone you would need a minimum of 3 coats. It goops up at your cuticles, unlike a pricier polish and it doesn't appear to dry very quick. My nails are still tacky as I type and it has been at least 30 minutes.
I will not purchase this brand of polish again.

Goopy and uneven. If you are a beginner at painting your nails do NOT get this nail polish. I am very good at painting my nails but this stuff is extremely hard to get even. It never dries completely hard even if you do thin layers. It goops around your cuticle which doesn't happen with other nail polishes like wet'n'wild which are cheaper and over all better.Other the brush is too long and floppy for me to use.
The only thing I do like about this nail polish is its matte finish however if you bang your nail at all it will leave a dent into the polish and become a big mess REAL fast.

I was wanting to paint my nails to look like the origin of symmetry album art for a friends party so I figured that it wasn't worth splashing out on a colour I wasn't going to use much, and at £1.99 a pot it was REALLY cheap. The range of colours Maybelline had was quite impressive, I went for 749 electric yellow. When applying it, however, it all went downhill, the applicator was useless and the product itself was incredibly gloopy, it was much too thick around the edges and really thin in the middle, when I tried to adjust this it went streaky so no points there. it took 3 coats to get it resembling the colour it was in the bottle, thus, it took forever to dry and even when it did it scratched and chipped a lot more than any other nail polish I have used. For the particular colour I used, I ended up having to apply a white base coat beforehand to get the intense colour I wanted, but once the top coat was on It actually didn't look too bad, however it did still chip a lot. at £1.99 though you really can't expect much more that what I got, the only reason I would buy it again it because of the range of colours you can get so you don’t have to splash out on a look you only plan to do once.

Bought this in pink chiffon and I'm so happy I did. Only nail polish that lasts on me for more the 2 days. I love the gel like finish and the colour selection is great. Will definitely be buying more.

First off, hate the packaging. The round cap makes it more difficult to paint my nails. The formula is unusable for me. It's goopy, streaky and NEVER dries. I picked this up in a grey color and I was so disappointed with this it went to the trash.

I bought this in Fuchsia Fever from Wal Mart for $2.50 and honestly for the price I am not dissapointed at all ! It's not at all compareable to Essie or OPI, but I have had it on for a week now, no chips! You need to put on a single thin coat, wait 10 mins, and then repeat until you've done about 3-4 coats though! It can be streaky but it depends on your nail polish skills, this shade dries matte, which is a nice effect given the color!
Over all super cute shade for summer, great price, lasts long

I'm kinda surprised that these nail polishes got such bad reviews. I actually really like them and they work great. I use it with Seche Vite base coat, 2 coats of the polish, Seche Vite top coat, onyx fast drying spray, and opi drying drops. Works great for me. I guess because I take so many precautions.

I bought this in Orange Fix at Walmart. It takes a couple coats for a really nice colour. It dried pretty quickly was kind of matte. I didn't put on a top coat as I was lazy and it chipped the next day. The formula makes it dry with a very plastic like texture so you can just peel it off. Don't know if I'll be buying this again even with the $2.50 price...

Bought @walmart for 2.50cdn. HAD to get Crushed Coral when I saw that beautiful stand-out color. Didn't know anything of its staying power so came here to read reviews..... YES AFTER I bought it. I immediately regretted it and expected the worse.
Key to this brand and quality is patience!!!!! And it will pay off.
First coat- a little streaky but BEAUTIFUL.
Second coat- perfect. The same color that attracted me in the first place.
It took long to dry but key also, is thin layers. Start a blob at the center of the nail and spread out as you can always dab off the excess into the bottle cause it will dry out on you and get rough if you go back and forth.
Let dry COMPLETELY between coats. You may have to touch up as u may see pools even after the second coat.
I think the trick to it all too was that I topped it off with a Sally Hansen Hard as nails top coat.
Let me tell you, the job I have- my nails get the brunt of it. I have to handle suitcases, zippers and all. And it hasn't chipped on me yet... But its only over one day....
But like I said, I expected much much WORSE.
Also its a nail polish you'd like to apply just before you sleep (in another ventilated room... Not ur bedroom!!!)so itd have all night to dry (just to be sure) and if u sleep like a log like me........
Meeeeeehhhhh u won't have much of a problem hehehe

This is the worst polish I have used! I painted my nails and used a top coat. Within 2 hours it chipped! I would just like to point out I did nothing but watch tv for the 2 hours so I'm completely confused as to how it even chipped. The colors are really nice ( pink shock and bold gold ) which is the only reason this doesn't get one lippie.

For 2.5$ the packaging is great and the variaty of colors are amazing (soo many), but in terms of a nail polish, not so good. the texture is a bit stick/ lumpy/ takes too long to dry, and even after it dries (like 3 hours later), i showered and it completely smudged!
I would probably recommend it if your only wearing it for 1 night out and need a specific color only one time (since its cheap), but overall not too happy with this product.
* I forgot to mention the brush streaks are obvious due to the thickness of the nail polish.

I agree with the comment,it depends on which nail polish of this brand you buy.Wine and Dine is watery,so is Boho Gold..with these 2,you have to apply at least 3-4 coats to get any color. If you dont mind that, then ok.BUT,one thing I have observed,is that, this polish(particularly the watery ones of course)those are the only ones I have tried, and they come off like a piece of cake. For one hand,I use only 1 cotton ball, and all the polish is off and no polish down in those corners, that is usually hard to get off with a more pigmented nail polish. If you put this polish on your bare nails(I have tried)it dries so quick!I was just testing.I have Bold Gold,Iced Queen and Amethyst Ablaze, and they are not watery.Soooooo, use at your own risk..have fun, they do have pretty colors but beware of some! There, ummmm, ok.I love my Essie polish.Good luck Ladies:)
Would also like to mention..even the watery polishes, they stayed on me about 4-5 days..I always wear a base coat and top coat,I was just curious and was testing these to see how they own up:)I really like the Bold Gold..I have it on my bare nail now for testing, and it looks like 1 coat will do it,but me,Im so used to using 2 coats anyway.I will take it off and put it on for work tomorrow, and see how it goes.Iced Queen is a 2 coater and the Blaze one is a 2 coater.Just putting that out there:)

Great color, dries quickly, but chips and peels almost immediately. I bought this product in Bold Gold and it lasted less than 24 hours.

I bought this for $5 at cvs which I think is an alright price, people may think it's a little pricey for how much you get. Anyhow, i think this polish is wonderful! I got it in amathest ablaze which is a pretty purple metallic color. The bottle shows more silver than purple. Since this is the only color I tried out, I give it 4 stars because other colors may not turn out so good according to the other reviews. But this color is gorgeous! Only one coat is enough. I love the brush!! It's small and perfect for application because it makes it so easy to apply a nice even coat. One coat dries fast. Top it off with a top coat and you are good to go!
EDIT:
Ok, my fault for giving a review too early on to know the full effects of this polish. I went from 4 stars to 2 stars because although I still stand by the beauty of the nail polish color I got, it chipped way too fast, like the next day my nails showed signs of wear. Plus, for the price I got, not even worth it.

Bought this on a whim simply because the color looked pretty (I got the color 'Green With Envy') and it was cheap.
First thing I noticed when I went to put it on was how horrible the brush was. It made it hard for me to apply the polish evenly. I had to use 4-5 coats to make my nails look somewhat even and the color opaque. It doesn't dry very fast. It chips in a day or two. Don't waste your time or money on this polish unless you like chipped nail polish!

I love these nail polishes. They're about $3 a piece, and sure, they're small, but I never use up a whole nail polish bottle anyway. I'd rather be able to buy a bunch of different colors than be stuck with the same old expensive shade all year long. These aren't any longer-wearing than any other drugstore brand for me, but if I apply two coats and a quality topcoat, it won't chip for about four days, which is about average for me. The brush is easy to work with, and most of the colors are incredibly opaque. I especially love the spring and summer shades. It's so much fun to mix them up during the warmer seasons. A must-have, and for $3, totally worth it.
