Was given to me as a gift. At first it kind of weirded me out putting the "fiber" step on. It kind of reminded me of laundry lint. I learned that you need to let the base coat dry before doing the second step (other wise it clumps). Not "better than false lashes"- but pretty amazing.

Love this mascara. I really have not experienced what other people have. I only found my eyelashes were sticking together when I did the top and bottom consecutively... I let the top dry first and then apply on the bottom. It gives my lashes incredible length and thickness. And I was able to remove the mascara easily with makeup wipes. I would absolutely recommend.

After using Lancome Hypnose for years, I wanted to find a mascara that gave me both fullness and length. The girls at Sephora raved about this product!!! I was convinced and excited to try it on for my birthday dinner. After following the instructions and layering on the product, I was standing in the mirror looking at myself and wondering if I was putting it on wrong. It was as if I used dollar store mascara. I was deflated and really annoyed but went out to dinner anyway with it on. I asked my family and friends of what they thought of my new million dollar mascara and they all said "Are you even wearing mascara?". For the price you pay, this is not worth it!!! Whatever mascara you currently use is probably 10 times better than this! I returned it the next day! I now use Voluminous and Telescopic by L'oreal (drug store products) and they are way better than this crap and Lancomes 35 dollar mascara!!!

I must be weird as I hated the beautyblender that everyone seems to love but I love this which most people don't! I don't really understand the difficulty as I found it super easy to apply from the first application, looks fantastic, if I took more time applying I imagine I could build for super long lashes. My only issue so far is that when blinking I can feel my lashes sticking a little bit to the bottom (even though I didn't apply to bottom lashes), I'm hoping this will stop once the mascara is completely dry though. It's not at all uncomfortable to wear, or apply, but it's so expensive! Also, I already have pretty long lashes which is probably why the sticking is happening.

PURRRRLEASE........ I once again was fooled by the pretty packaging and the ridiculous promises on it.98% longer lashes? 98% increase in volume? 90% thicker lashes? An alternative to false eyelashes?
It is NONE of the above and I would gladly return it if I could. I get far better results by using 2 or 3 coats of L'OREAL X4..... The lashes turn out looking like clumnpy twigs, it's smudges, it looks fake....but not as in "false eyelash-fake". This product has not got one thing going for it. I even paid over 3o euros for it...... Never again..... Don't buy it.....

I was really excited to try this product after I first saw it at a Sephora store back in October while I was out of town. I tried it on in the store and seemed to get really excellent results, so once I got back I ordered it. It worked wonderfully the first couple of times, but recently the lengthening effect has been really minimal-I don't know if the formula has dried out or the chemistry of it changes after awhile, but it just isn't working as well as it originally did. As others have stated, it doesn't really do much to volumize. It is also very sticky, but at the same time the fibers will flake off and I just end up looking like a mess. Will not purchase again.

OKAY, well first of all I LOVE too faced products. So i saw this stuff, and I asked the cashier at Ulta about it, and she was like "Well this stuff made my lashes look so good, but it was really hard to get off." I went on here and read the reviews and they didn't look so good. Still I was not discouraged, and my curiosity made me buy this stuff. I mean this is really the first "nylon lash extension" product that I have ever seen. I, just like every other girl, am always on the lookout for a product to give me a "fake lash" look without the extra work of applying fake lashes. The package comes with two different tubes. The bigger one is the actual mascara and the smaller one is the lash extensions. You put the lash extensions on first and they're like these white fuzzies that stick to your lashes. Then you put the mascara on over it and it supposedly lengthens and volumizes your lashes. WELL, the fuzzies do get in your eyes and irritate them, and make your eyes water. Your lashes do seem a teensy bit longer than normal, but I don't think it's worth it. It really doesn't look that much different from regular mascara. It's also really hard to get off. Also this stuff is really expensive. Like $36. So overall, this stuff does not do what it says it's going to do really. But it's not a bad mascara and does lengthen your lashes if you apply it right.

Works great for me. Really does make my lashes longer. It does take some work to remove it but for the ease of application versus false lashes it's so worth it. I have short sparse Asian lashes and this product is great for them.

This product comes with two things. The actual mascara that you apply as a base and top coat, and the fiber thing that you put in between. It does what it's advertised as, which is making lashes super long. I absolutely despised it because I'm someone that chooses comfort over other things. When I applied the mascara, for hours on end my top eyelashes would stick to my bottom lashes after simple blinks. I didn't even use the mascara on my bottom lashes either. Removing it was also the worst. I had to scrub it off and it always left my eyes very puffy and red. If you're someone that prefers comfort over other things, then don't get this product. If you're willing to deal with the pain in the ass this is to get the long lashes, then this is for you. Because it will give you those long lashes.
I trashed it after a bit...

Heard about all the hype regarding this product and just had to try these for my stubborn asian lashes. Before i plunked the cash down for this product, i tried the essence dupe sold at ulta. That one irritated my contact lenses so in the trash it went. However, i did enjoy the effect it gave me so when the sephora vib sale came around, i bought its high end counterpart...this too faced lash system. This surprisingly did not irritate my contact wearing eyes. HOWEVER it sucked. It's the type of mascara that never really dries down. Sometimes i enjoy that type of formulation so i can really layer on the mascara. However i cant really continually layer this mascara because if so, the little fibers would just come off. I found this system to be really gooey resulting in smears galore. I can get the same effect from my maybelline falsies. RETURNED.

The mascara is used as a base and top coat. The fibers are used in between the initial base application.
It takes a long time to really build up your lashes, which is unfortunate. You have to be careful not to get the fibers in your eye as well. After doing the first 3 steps, my lashes were really long. I decided to do these 3 steps again, and my lashes were extremely long and feathery. I have never had my eyelashes so long before. They were really fanned out and pretty, except this mascara isn't very pigmented. I would have liked my lashes to be at least a little more black. When I tried to just layer on more of just the mascara to build up the color, that's when my lashes started to clump and stick together like crazy. I ended up having brittle spider lashes that made my eye water and red. Not to mention, it was a pain to take off.
If I had $35 to spare, I would buy this again just for the opened-eye look. It'd be good for everyday, but not if you want something really dramatic and black.

this product takes practice!
my lashes stick together if i put on more than two coats at once, so if i want to put on a third coat of the "sealer", i have to wait a minute or so.
i love how this mascara comes off in the shower but doesn't leave black circles under my eyes!

This mascara looks good initially when I apply it, but moments later my eyelashes start to stick together. I try to separate them with a brush, which just makes it look like no mascara, but it's impossible to apply more because the lashes get further stuck together in clumps. I have tried both with the fiber wand and without and it makes no difference, I do not like this stuff.

I was interested in this mascara when I heard it was coming out. "Better than false lashes," eh? We'll see. I purchased it online at Sephora for $35 and was anticipating its arrival to my door so I could see if it was worth the money I shelled out for it.
This mascara is a three step system. The mascara is a base and top coat, while the nylon fibers are put on after the initial coat. It comes in a box, with two tubes- one is short and white with a gold cap. This is what contains the Flexistretch fibers. These fibers are purported to lengthen and thicken your lashes. The brush to the fibers is very narrow and about the width of the interior wand itself. The other tube is larger, and it is shiny metallic gold. The brush to the mascara is larger and really nothing extraordinary. When I tried it out, I applied the mascara "base" first, and while it was still a little wet, I applied the fibers just as I would mascara from root to tip. My lashes had all these fuzzy white fibers on them. Then I applied the mascara again to "seal" the fibers onto my lashes. I did find that it noticeably lengthened them. However, the volume that I was looking for wasn't really dramatic. I also found that if I added more coats of the mascara afterwards, it made my lashes look like they had split ends. Eww. Just one coat of each left my lashes longer, and it looked natural. I also have to comment no raccoon eyes, or smudging. It does flake a little though, especially after I put in eye drops. I also found that I couldn't put this on my lower lashes, because then my upper and lower lashes would stick together. Very strange! I had to be careful to keep the brush parallel with the lash line or else it would clump. The price is steep for this product, I think it should be priced lower. $35 for Too Faced? Perhaps for a luxury brand, but not this one. Nonetheless, I did like this mascara. It lengthened my lashes, held my curl, and didn't smudge into panda eyes at the end of a long work day. It also is easy to remove with just cleanser and water. There are negatives with this mascara, but it does have positives so I am willing to overlook the other issues. I think I would purchase this again.

This product works!!! There are some negatives. It does take patience and practice (only a couple times) but after all is said and done, my eyelashes are noticeably longer. At first glance the fibers are like little pieces of fuzz getting in your eyes. If I wasn't 100% happy with the finished look, I would hesitate to buy. I've tried every (almost) mascara out their that "lengthens" eyelashes. I save this for special occasions which makes the 32.00 I spent on the product worth it. Bottom line is that this product does exactly what it promises to do. If you purchase at Ulta you can practice putting it on several times before you buy it.

When I saw reviews for this product I got excited and decided to buy it. Let me start off by saying that this is way too expensive for a mascara AND the quality isn't that great. It takes time to apply and the results aren't very extraordinary, I have used a drugstore mascara and the results were BETTER than this product's results. I would not repurchase it and I regret spending so much money on a product that is nothing out of the ordinary.

I have sensitive eyes and this didn't irritate my eyes. The lash fibers are a strange idea. They don't seem to apply evenly and you really need to take your time or else you have some lashes that are longer then other ones. The mascara is also difficult to remove as it doesn't seem to fully dry, but just stay a dry rubbery texture. Hard to explain. One thing I love about it is it is great for my blephoritis and it doesn't transfer in my concealer and create raccoon eyes like so many other mascaras do. In fact it doesn't seem to transfer anywhere at all after it dries.

I bought this without reading any reviews or trying it out first. Such a huge mistake! So basically, this is a two step nylon fiber mascara. It comes with an activator and a fiber tube. You put on the activator, then the build the nylon fibers, and finish off with the activator again. My lashes are average, semi thick, with some curl to it. I usually look for a volumizing and lengthening mascara and this did not work at all. It turns your lashes into a sticky, clumpy, spidery mess. I've tried plenty of different methods: went light on the fiber, more the activator and vice versa, and still the same sad results. The nylon fibers also bothered my eyes, so those with senstive eyes and contact lense wearers, becareful!!! My cheap voluminous millions mascara works 50x better.
