I bought this lipstick in shade 825 Pink Brandy as I was looking for a coral colour lipstick but wasn't brave enough to go for a full on orange one, i found this was the perfect medium colour for me. Not quite pure pink but not orange either.
The lipstick consistency is lovely, not sticky or dry but a nice texture that glides onto your lips, it also stays put a long time and even longer when using a good primer. Just as others have said it also stains the lips after the initial coat has gone.
It has a strange perfumey taste to it which I'm not really that fond off as I can taste it in the back of my throat occasionally but I can live with that as I find the colour so pretty.
Another thing I wasn't very impressed with was the actual amount of lipstick you get, only half the tube is lipstick the other half is an extra bit of tube... I don't know if this is the norm lately as I haven't bought a lipstick in a long time but I was not happy when i wound it up to the top. Even though the price is good, I don't enjoy not getting my moneys worth so I'm not sure if i'd buy again due to that.

Lipstick I got as a gift and now it's my favorite of the No. 1 It offers a wide range of shades, I own No 615 Star Dust Pink. In the beginning I was afraid that it would dry out my lips (like most other lipsticks), but very pleasantly surprised me, I likened it to balm and lipstick in one. Even though the color is beautifully saturated and even relatively long lasting. It has a nice subtle scent. I also like the golden wrap that adds a touch of elegance lipstick.

I have this in Secret Cerise and Maroon Dust. Secret Cerise is quite a bold pink which actually looks slightly frosted when you put it on (but not in a completely awful 80s way). It's a fun colour for daytime that I wear for a 'pick me up' when I'm feeling tired and washed out. This lipstick has loads of pigment and the colour really lasts without drying. It goes on really smoothly (even when my lips are a bit dry) and doesn't bleed, even when I wear it without lipliner or any sort of base or foundation. This is a slightly buish pink so it might be better for cool skintones. Some reviewers have commented on the smell of this lipstick, but I don't notice it. The only downside is that it is really hard to get off. Maroon Dust was a bit of a mistake and just doesn't suit me. It looks like it should be a nude, but it's a bit peachy for me. Maybe it would suit a warmer skintone? Having read the MUA reviews I am keen to try Burnt Caramel.

I own this lipstick in three shades: Burnt Caramel, Sunbronzed, and Chili.

This is my all time favourite drugstore lipstick. It runs expensive (at least in Germany) for a drugstore brand, somewhat comparable to L'Oreal - I believe I purchased mine for roughly 8-9 €/tube on sale. That being said, they are completely worth the money comparative to other D/S brands. The scent is not offensive (unlike L'Oreal), the formula is very moisturizing, great for more mature lips, and yet does not feather or run (unlike L'Oreal's mature line Colour Riche lipsticks), and yet the pigmentation is so good that it lasts all day. It stains the lips without drying them out, so even if the lipstick itself starts to wear off, you still end up with a nice color on your lips - just without the finish. The packaging is sturdy and pleasant to look at, not overly cheap nor flimsy (again, in contrast to similarly priced L'Oreal). My one critique for this line would be the extremely limited shade selection - they do have a small range of colours to choose from, but the ones marketed as Color Elixir - the moisturizing variety - have an extremely limited shade range.

Burnt Caramel is a surprisingly wearable rosewood color that is MLBB on my darker skin. It has a smooth, satiny but not matte finish that can be shined up a bit with lip gloss. It's classed as a "brown" by Max Factor.

Sunbronzed is a bit more shimmery than Burnt Caramel but still a very satiny finish. It actually runs a more warm purple mauve on my skin, although from the color on the bottom of the tube one would think it's a red shade. It's classed as a "brown" by Max Factor.

Chili is a very warm toned deep red that looks great on medium to darker skintones. It might be a bit more shockingly red and dark on those with paler skintones, however. I don't find myself reaching for it as often as the other two because it is a more dramatic shade, but it's still wearable in the daytime with the right styling and makeup. It's classed as a "red" by Max Factor.

I will most definitely buy Burnt Caramel once again when I run out of it, and I will run out of it - it's my favourite lip colour and formula in my entire collection, and wearable with nearly everything in every season. I would probably buy Sunbronzed again if I ever ran out, too. I highly recommend this line to those with drier lips but looking for a long lasting lipstick; however, ONLY if you can find a suitable colour for your skintone within their extremely limited range. Unbeatable performance for the price!

I really love this product! I love it so much that I got almost every color!
But my two favorites are:
-Ruby Tuesday
-Bewitching Coral

Ruby Tuesday is a lovely bright red color and it is amazing! During a day I only have to reapply it twice! That is so so great! It does not flake och dry out the lip, I believe that it is actually super hydrating!

Bewitching Coral is perfect! A lovely pinky coral color. It gives the appearance of bigger and fuller lips, since it is so colorful! This color is perfect for a nude eye, even a bare eye!

I love these lipsticks and I will buy this product over and over again!

In my opinion, the quality of this lipstick far exceeds its price range. It's great for people who don't really collect lipsticks in many different shades, they just need a few go-to flattering and well-made products.

I have it in Ruby Tuesday, the gorgeous, matte bright red. It's fairly neutral, maybe a little bluish, but I think it would look beautiful against many skintones.

What I love about this lipstick:

- It goes on smoothly and evenly, not too creamy and smudgy, but also not dry.
- Doesn't get much drier over time, like a lot of lipsticks do.
- Doesn't smudge or bleed during wearing.
- It's really longlasting.
- Plus, even when it eventually does wear off a little, it still looks nice, because it leaves more of an even tint than colour patches or that unwanted "lipliner effect".
- I don't necessarily have to use a lipliner with this one (although it's bright red), because the formula is so brilliant to work with.

What you might not find so great about it:

- It has somewhat sweet, vanillic smell to it, which some people might not like.
- It's so persistent that I have to take it off with a makeup remover to get rid of it completely. Personally, it doesn't bother me at all.
- The colour choice is a bit restricted, a lot of similar shades.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend it, it's well worth the money. I'm getting Rosewood for daytime, and then stocking up on both. :)

this is such a great lipstick! i got mine in Ruby Tuesday because i wanted to somehow get the quintessential max factor red lipstick. i love it! i just got mine 2 weeks ago and i've been using it everyday because it just brightens up my face. makes my teeth whiter and brighter when i smile, too! this lasts long on the lips- in fact it stayed still looking great after i ate a cheeseburger! after i wiped my lips, i was happily surprised to see that it left an even stain. i tried just putting on lip balm over the stain and it still worked. wow. also, i love that there is no overwhelming scent and taste (as i like to be extra picky with lipsticks when it comes to these 2 points.) the only thing that might give people (just like my sister) issue is the texture. yes, it is creamy and moisturizing but after a while it gives a waxy feel to your lips-especially if you've swiped on quite heavily or after a retouch. but since i am not a stickler for texture, i must say this is one of the best lipsticks i own.

recently, i let my mom try it on. her lips are so acidic that she was hesitant to even try it on. she was glad that i convinced her to because her face just got brighter and younger-looking. as regards her acidic lips, the color just deepened into an even more flattering color! i'm telling you this lipstick is great!

When I saw this in Burnt Caramel I knew I had to buy it but I talked myself out of it, went home and googled it and next day I bought it. WOW a gorgeous browned/smoked pink with hints of mauve and peach. A great shade for any Nude lippie collector - case is just gorgeous and has a lovely vanilla scent and what I would describe as a semi-matte finish. Beautiful

I have ruby tuesday and pink brandy from this max factor line. Ruby tuesday is my HG red!! It's very blue toned and bright. Not a dark shade of red at all. Wears about 4hrs on me and is quite moisturising but It doesn't replace lipbalm for me. It instantly makes my face brighter and appear fresher. It has a sheen to it too. Not matte at all. Very similar to MAC Red.

Now pink brandy...hmmmm. I actually got this colour because for some reason, it appeared corally and I was on the hunt for a coral lipstick at that time. It's pink. Not bright, a muted pink with a hint of brown? It looks somewhat dusky in the tube. This lipstick applies true to colour on my lips and has a slight sheen too. Sometimes I like this shade sometimes I wonder why I bought it. Doesn't look like anything I own though. Wears for about 2hrs before fading.

I can't stand the scent of these lipsticks though. Is it chocolate or what? Not foul but too strong for me + it doesn't fade away quickly. I love the packaging of these lipsticks. The gold colour of the tube and the embossed logo makes it look more HE than DS. Would repurchase ruby tuesday again and would check out other shades. Wouldn't repurchase pink brandy though

I bought this lipstick in the colour Angel Pink, which looked perfect when I swatched it in the shop, but unfortunately when I tried it at home it was a bit too "Barbie pink". Apart from that though this lipstick is very moisturising and feels very comfortable on the lips, and although I wouldn't buy this shade again, I could be tempted to buy another one in a different colour. I loved the packaging of this, I thought it makes it look much more expensive than it is and I love the fact that the lipstick has the Max Factor symbol embossed on it! I was a bit torn between awarding this a 3 or a 4, it's a perfect 3.5, but because I'm a hard marker and a tough woman to please I marked it down to 3 Certainly not Holy Grail material but saying that it's still a nice cheap lipstick!
