GARBAGE! Made me break out horribly. Most overpriced crap I've ever tried. Waste of money, does nothing. Advanced hydration? I had dry patches all the time using this. AWFUL!

ok IM shocked that there are good reviews for this creme! awful, awfulllll smell!!! so bad in fact that i was GRIMACING as i was applying this on my face! so bad that i had to hop onto MUA today and immediately right a review about this! as i tried to find some redeeming points about this creme sadly there were none. superrrr oily (best for DRY skin), runny consistency and i woke up to a nice juicy white head on my chin this morning. UGH-bad bad bad. all skin types? no way. and did i mention how HORRIBLE this smelled? like chemical+oranges+vanilla+grossness.

I am 100% CONFUSED about the other reviews on it smelling bad. It smells awesome to me. One of the reasons I love it honestly. Not to mention it brightens my skin. My problem with it is the price, its expensive but so far its the only thing I can use on my sensitive skin.

I got this moisturizer in a sample kit along with the truth serum. They both work great...this moisturizes and doesn't leave any residue or greasy feeling behind. That being said...IT SMELLS SO BAD...like rotting oranges in moldy vanilla. I could handle the smell if it didn't linger so bad. I put it on my face one day and I could smell it on my hands after I washed them and it lingered on my face for probably 4 or 5 hours. I will probably finish my sample jar at night when I can't smell it. I will NOT repurchase it UNLESS it is in a kit lol. If you can handle the smell...go for it....if you can't it isn't worth the money.

On a side note IF you use Lancome dual finish versatile powder makeup the floral old lady scent of that will over power this lol just sayin

I'm trying to find a new moisturizer so got a sample of this from Sephora. Unlike other posters, I don't mind the scent. It's strong orange/vanilla but fine. It provided just the right amount of moisture and evened out my skin tone, but around the fourth day I started breaking out. Really a shame because I thought I had found a keeper.

First off, it smells awful. Like bad, artificial, sickly sweet orange. And the smell LINGERS. I couldn't even use it during my first trimester because it added to my nausea. Moving on past the scent, it helps with the horrible dryness that I am attributing to being pregnant in the winter. My face actually feels moisturized after I use this, which is more than I can say for my daytime Boscia moisturizer. I only use it at night because it does take some time to sink in and has no SPF. I haven't noticed any brightening but I didn't really expect to. I don't like the tub because I'm clumsy and have knocked it over before. It's also not very hygienic but I'm just thankful to have something that gets rid of my flakies! The smell is just a deal breaker, I won't be repurchasing.

The other reviewers are right, this smells terrible. It's like rotten oranges with rotten vanilla lol! I'm sure it's a lovely product otherwise, I just can't get past the smell and write a proper review of it. I'm sticking to their Sheer Transformation creme instead

UPDATE: I can't use this at all anymore. I kept getting little bumps above my cheekbones, and it kept migrating into my eyes. Ow! Original review: My skin is sensitive and oily but dehydrated. I used a sample of this all over my face for a week, and it seriously brightened my complexion and helped my dehydrated skin. The texture is light and didn't feel greasy at all. A little goes a long way. LOVED it until the clogged pores and breakouts started. So disappointing because it made my skin glow and provided hydration without making it more oily. I cannot use this all over my face anymore, but it works wonderfully as an eye cream (applied not too close to the lash line though. This burns like heck if it gets into the eye). The orangish scent is similar to the Truth Serum, but it's not quite as fresh-smelling as the Truth Serum. This has a bit of a rancid/old smell to it. It's kind of off-putting at first, but it fades away and isn't too noticeable after a few minutes. This is a great moisturizer if your skin likes it, and you can tolerate the scent. I will use it up as an eye cream, but I won't repurchase since it didn't work for my face.

I'm shocked that people don't like the smell of this stuff. It has a light orangey smell to it, but to me, it's nothing overpowering. I actually like it quite a bit.

Performance wise, I really like it. It's light, non-greasy and leaves my skin looking really nice. I got this in my QVC quarterly beauty tube, but I'd purchase it on its own.

Yes it smells like oranges. Which I equate to the smell of a cleaner. Yuk.
It it nice and light and works well for oily skin. But I don't feel it really did anything for me at all.
I won't repurchase because it just didn't have a wow factor for me and for the price I'd like a little wow.

I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews about the smell - that's actually one of the things I like about it. It smells light and clean with a hint of orange. It doesn't sink in as quickly as other moisturizers but does leave skin with a nice glow and isn't irritating at all. I usually use La Mer gel cream and this feels richer, which I desperately need during the winter as my skin gets downright flaky. This makes it feel softer and smoother. My only complaint is the slightly tacky feeling, but I used a generous amount. The tacky feeling went away eventually and my skin felt incredible and satiny - even the dry, rough spots that I thought I'd have to exfoliate were smoothed over. I will be using this instead of La Mer. After trying a sample from Sephora, I bought this, the serum, and the eye cream. I love how youthful and dewy my skin looks! It even makes my pores look smaller.

Agreed with the reviews that say this stuff reeks. I received this as a free sample and would caution anyone with sensitive noses to avoid it!! The moisturizer itself not too bad, but the smell is too much of a turn-off.

I'm an Ole Henriksen fan, having used the Truth Serum for years. I swear by that stuff! Therefore, when I shop at Sephora, I always choose the samples from Ole H. I snapped up a sample of this moisturizer and used it right away. My review could be summed up in one word: UGH. It absolutely reeks. I didn't realize how awful it smelled until I got it on my face. It was so bad I'd have washed it off and started over if I'd had time. The reviewer who described it as a BO smell is dead-on. It was like an orange with BO. I kept smelling it off and on throughout the day. Aside from the odor, this didn't hydrate like I thought it would--I get a lot more hydration from Ole's Sheer Transformation creme than this. I threw out the rest of the sample.

If I get a chance to sample this again in the future, I might--I have to wonder if Sephora got a bunch of rotten samples, given the recent reviews here--but I'll take a sniff of it before I put it on my face.

I received this s a sample from Sephora and finally got around to trying it today. All I can say is it stinks. It started out smelling pleasant and fruity, then turned to a foul BO type smell. |I kept smelling it all day long, sometimes wondering where the bad smell was coming from. Threw out the rest of the sample. I don't care what it does for my skin, I can't tolerate the bad smell. It's probably overpriced too.

I admit that I only just bought this as part of a trial size pairing with the truth serum just yesterday. I tried them out only last night and then this morning. The truth serum feels great. But then when you put this moisturizer over it - YUCK. The smell is AWFUL. And last night it made me feel SO greasy and stunk so badly that I had to wash it all over and use a different moisturizer. I left it on this morning since I wasn't going anywhere and while the awful smell is still there, my skin looks too shiny but yet kind of nicely bright also.

So I might update this review after continued use - I will give it a good try to see if it does work. But if it doesn't work quickly, I will ditch it. The smell is beyond awful.

I got a sample of this at Sephora. At the moment I love my Vichy night cream and Biotherm Aquasource for day, but this one looked really interesting to try. What I dislike about this product - smell. It really bothers me. Second - it does not dry fast, I had to wait more than I'm used to. However, I guess it moisturizes well and I will be testing it for couple of more days.
This cream is for all skin types but I think my skin is little too dry for this cream. I do not like the greasy texture after applying this cream.
UPDATE: After just one day of using it - I hate it. My skin was getting more and more greasy and the pores on nose started to bring out water. It was really weird, happens to me with rich and greasy creams only.

I love love love this product!!! This is by far the best moisturizing, antioxidant and brightening serum I've ever tried. I like the gel texture, the orange hint and it effects. It keeps my skin moisturized and tightened through out the day and night. I use it both day and night. It is now my new "can't live without" product. The only thing I hope they improve is their pump, coz sometimes it comes out a huge amount that can cover my face, neck and collar bones...

I got a sample of this and am quite impressed. I have oily/combination skin and this doesn't make my skin greasy at all but hydrates amazingly! I have to say Ole Hendriksen does great moisturizers. I am currently using Sheer Transformation for the summer but I think I'm going to buy a jar of this when winter comes around!
