I have found this is a pretty good moisturizer for my skin. Really nice silky feeling lotion with a light, pleasant fragrance. I have sensitive skin and I have not had any adverse reactions from it. It is cheaper than the rest of the Vichy line. I notice an immediate improvement in the condition of my skin after applying.

Essentielles is supposed to be a line of basic products at a more affordable price than the rest of Vichy, I presume.
Even so, I spend around 10€ in a pump bottle of this cream with 400ml. Not cheap, but not too expensive if the product was good. But it isn't.
This has a milky consistency, milky colour and smells really good. Not recommended for anyone not keen on fragrance. The bottle is pretty with a pink flower and the pump is always practical. And that's about it for the good points. Now for the cons: it doesn't absorb well at all, you can be rubbing for 10minutes and it won't sink in and the results aren't particularly moisturising for something that claims to be for dry skin.
Other than that, it caused me a big rash in my upper arms, where I have very sensitive skin. The cream does warn not to be used on the face, but it also claims to be hypoalergenic. Either way, I can't use it in my arms and I mostly don't feel like using it anywhere else either.
