This has been my HG liquid eyeliner for over 2 years by now. I first picked this up intending to use it during a music festival. I wanted something that wouldn't budge while I was in the sun all weekend and it did its job! It dries glossy, so if you like a matte finish you won't like this one. It doesn't come off unless I use a makeup remover which I love. My only complaint is that after a few weeks, the cap stops screwing back on the whole way. I noticed other reviewers had the same problem. I can't figure out what it is, I tried to clean it up as best as I could and it still didn't close all the way. Weird.
Anyway, this eyeliner has been my best friend through Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza and Coachella. It's waterproof alright!

I bought this the other day because I wanted to try a waterproof liquid eyeliner. For $13 in New York City , I really wanted to love it. First of all, the applicator is terrible and skips too much, making a line that's anything but smooth. I had the hardest time using it. The formula was super runny and not pigmented enough. I had champagne eyeshadow underneath and within minutes of the liner drying, my shadow showed through no matter how many times I went over it, which was many many times. I will stick with wet n wild mega last in non waterproof for $3.00 and best color payoff and applicator. Do not waste your money on this subpar l'oreal liner !!!

You can peel this product off your eyelid and it leaves a glossy look! I usually buy maybeline but they didn't have it so i thought i would try this one and it's going in the garbage!

Having fallen in love with L'Oreal's Lineur Intense in Carbon Black, which is a dream to work with, I picked up their Telescopic Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Dark Brown, expecting a similar product in a different color.
I'm incredibly disappointed. It's thin and runny going on (it literally runs into my eyelashes and eyes), it's almost impossible to get a straight line, and it clumps and flakes off within a couple of hours.
I genuinely don't understand how L'Oreal can make two such vastly different products.

This would've been my hg eyeliner since it is the only one I tried that doesn't transfer on my hooded lid, but it flakes so bad I'm left with black flecks all over my cheeks and it wears off in little patches.

I have been using this eyeliner for over a year. It is absolutely waterproof, I've found that it doesn't fade and it isn't too difficult to remove. It is exactly what I'm looking for. But my issue with it is that after about 2-3 weeks something starts going horribly wrong with the container. I've tried cleaning out the cap and removing any excess build-up that I see, but still it gets to a point where I can't screw the cap on all the way. And eventually it cracks and I have to throw it out. I wouldn't mind paying the $12.99 that it costs if it actually lasted longer than a few weeks. It is so frustrating because this eyeliner has everything that I'm looking for. I've bought this many times and it does this every single time. I have a friend that has used it as well and she said this happens to her too. Does anyone else have this problem? I wish there were a way to avoid this because it's so perfect in every other way!!

totally waterproof and the most strong eyeliner I ever use. I use it one and half year already and I am still using it. the cap broke though. I find if I don't wear anything else just wear it alone, it did smudge on me.

This is my favorite liquid liner from the drug store. I have used both brown and black. The black is great...wears well, easy to apply and removes easily with dual phase makeup remover. The brown was clumpy and flaked.
L'Oreal seems to have problems when it comes to consistency. Different colors of products wear and perform very differently. Very weird.

I have major problems getting eyeliner to stay on my eyes. This eyeliner will stay on my upper lash line all day! It is very black in color and it stays that way until you take it off. I find that it is similar to Lancome's artist liquid eyeliner except it is a little thicker in formula and lasts longer...the applicator applies a slightly thicker line as well. I used this everyday for about 4 months and my artist eyeliner for special occasions because it does apply and look a little better due to quality. I would have given it a 4 because it isn't perfect...I still haven't found a product that will stay on my lower lashline or waterline without fading or smudging and I've tried quite a few eyeliners...everything from revlon colorstay to urban decay 24/7 liners. But this product still gets a 3 because after 3 to 4 months the formula went bad, started to smell and turned blue. You also have to be careful to get this off your lashes (and it is hard to do without an amazing oil cleanser) or it will irritate your eyes. I wish I could put that I maybe or might buy this product again because right now I'm going to keep looking for something that works as good but is not irritating and product that doesn't go bad as quickly. If I can't find something else then I might try it again but for now I will not buy again.
