I am on my third bottle of this. Initially I didn't really buy the idea that a foamed up product would cleanse better, but strangely I think it does. Most of the time it cleanses well and isn't harsh on the skin, but if my skin is feeling dehydrated or tight, I'll tend to skip this. Anyway, those who think that the foaming ball is unhygienic can consider looking into a foaming net like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsbPysL-U9k . Muji sells one for cheap-ish.

I keep using this washing powder for around 10 years. You can tell how much I love this product. I did change to other cleanser in between, but I switched it back after a short period of time.
I only use it in the morning as it is not a makeup remover, so I can't use it at night. No other product can give me such large amount of foam, and i don't feel tight nor dry afterwards. The foaming ball does the job perfectly, as I don't rub the ball on my face (which is not supposed to anyway) and I change it once a month, so I am ok with the hygienic part.
I got it from Hong Kong from my brother, so it is not pricy at all (around AUD $23), which is cheaper than a lot of brands, eg. biotherm, lancome, etc.

I like how it is cute to use, the foam feels really soft and refreshing on my skin and is non-drying. Best of all, my face does not feel tight or itchy, and it seems to cleanse my face really well. I noticed that the white heads around my nose appear less frequent as a result of using this. I bought the Vit C brightening one to try out as it was limited edition then. I wouldn't say it makes a huge huge immediate difference but I found that my face looks more radiant over time and I'm less prone to breakouts! :)

Just repurchased this product today with the entire set of moisturizers, milky lotion light and lotion light. Will update once I've tried them. Another thing I love about fancl is how they are generous with samples; I decided on getting the light series because after trying the sample I found they were less sticky than the normal series.

Although other liquid cleansers are more convenient, I'd be more inclined to go for what's effective and better for my skin.

I bought this product because a friend of mine told me that this is a pretty good product. I got it and this 'cleanser' did nothing to my skin. I could get an average cleanser like this with cheaper price. Also, I don't like the idea of washing my face with the foaming ball because you are not sure if the foaming ball is actually clean or not after a period of time. So I wouldn't recommend this product.

I have combo skin, flaky cheeks but shiny t-zone. My skin was going nuts when I was pregnant and this was my go to brand during those volatile months. It is one of the those products that does nothing special but will not make my skin break out or dry it out. I have tried to find other more exciting cleansers but have always returned to this product....

I started buying Fancl products after acknowledging they don't contain any preservatives nor harsh chemicals. I wanted to love this washing powder as it was quite fun to use, however, it would make my skin quite tight and dry. I have sensitive + combination skin (mainly normal, but slightly oily in the T-zone). It didn't do anything special to my skin other than clearing the dirt. I wouldn't buy it again.

I started using this as my only cleanser on a daily basis for about 3 months but it did nothing for my skin so I switched to using it only in the morning. It is one of the rare cleansers that doesnt cause redness after cleansing so that's great for me.

I've tried HABA previously, and if I would to compare. Both are about the same. I believe both are mild cleanser for people with normal skins, there is simply no oil control at all.

I love powder wash so I'll continue to find my HG powder wash.

This product caused my cheek areas to itch badly that I had to immediately re-wash with another cleanser.

A few more points which I do not like this product:
- It is not cheap with the size
- It expires fast
- It needs the sponge to foam - cumbersome step in this fast pace society. I want something which cleanse fast so I can save more time for other things such as sleeping. :p

I have bought this product 4 days ago after the recommendation of a good friend. When I first used it, it left my skin a bit tight after cleansing (I used it after Fancl mild cleansing oil). Now after 4 days of using (only at night), my skin got fleaky and I have breakouts even around my eyes. The condition of my skin has never been worse. I really don't recommend this product if you have sensitive skin.

I got this in Moist. I will say it is gentle than Cetaphil and hardly feel any tightness or dryness after washing. My morning cleanser, no complain no rave, just normal. Wont buy again.

Despite the good reviews, i had a bad experience with this product.... I used it according to the instructions but i got some bad breakouts from it. I have normal-dry skin during winter, and decided to give this a try. Despite the claims, my skin felt tight after washing. I quickly slapped on moisturizer. After using it for a week, skin still felt tight, and started to break out. The strange thing was i felt as if my skin had become thinner and more fragile, and the zits looked weird. My skin recovered after i chucked this thing away!

Great product! I love Fancl washing powder as it is effective and fun to use. It contains moisture retaining ingredients which helped my dry skin. In addition, it doesn't contain harmful preservatives like other brands of cleansers. Price doesn't matter for good products. I'll definitely buy it again

Most gentlest cleanser I've ever tried. It's a fine powder that bubbles nicely with a little bit of water (not too much though, it's not a foaming cleanser). It has no added fragrances, or irritating ingredients. Does not dry out the skin, actually leaves it soft and supple. Best! I would highly recommend it for anyone with dry, sensitive skin. I use it after my oil cleanser for double-cleansing, and in the mornings. The fresh period for the washing powder is half as that of the oil cleanser, so it's usable up to 2 months.

I'm reviewing the regular, moist version; the one in the blue cap. There's another version called "Light" in a white cap that isn't as moisturizing. I would think the "Light" version would be suitable for oily skintypes. Ingredients list from "Phoebe's Ingredients". Can't say about its accuracy.

Ingredients: Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Mannitol, Glucose, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Sodium Palmoyl Glutamate, Sodium Lauroyl Aspartaye, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, Talc, Agar, Serine, Allantoin, Dextran Hydroxypropyl Trimonium, Chloride

The jar was really small and i thought it'd soon end but it just lasted and lasted forever. I thought i'd have it years! It was mild and gentle and didn't cause any breakouts. It's also easy to take with you if you're going somewhere eg. for a weekend. I recommend!

I love Fancl's products!! And this washing powder in particular! I went to check all the ingredients of Fancl products I have and they are all very safe to use, without any preservatives and harsh chemicals.

I wash my face with facial wash product once a day every evening. One bottle of this lasts 1 - 1.5 month.

The foam is very rich and gentle, using it together with the facial buff can eliminate any dead skin build-up on the skin surface, after rinsing, it makes your skin very soft to touch and hydrated, without a sticky film coating the skin like some other facial wash I had tried in the past, does not seem to leave any residue in the pores that can cause blackheads. It efficiently removes the daily build-up of dead skin. I feel that I do not need any facial scrub as long as I keep using this washing powder, maybe not as frequent as I did. Good stuff, will continue to purchase and re-purchase over and over again :).

I like that it leaves my skin soft and not too drying, and it doesn't irritate my eyes, but the application is a bit of a pain.

This is the kind of product that I am not sure if I love it or not, even though I am already on my third tube (should I call it a tube or a jar or something else?) It's not too expensive in Asia, and the product lasts a long time (I use a lot of it everytime, to make enough "bubbles", and it still lasts quite a while)

I feel the same way about all the Fancl products I have tried so far, they are "safe" as in they don't cause your skin any kind of trouble, and they are decent as in they do what they are supposed to do, but there's just nothing outstanding about them (I have to admit, sometimes that's all you need, something that's safe and decent, especially when your skin is acting up, and it's nice to know that you can always fall back to Fancl in those situations)

I would love to try their cleansing oil though.

I like the idea of cleansing powder that it's fresh and clean. But the application is sth. really annoying me. I'm too lazy to foaming the powder with sponge everytime I use. Sometimes I wanted to skip washing my face because of that.
