On my second jar of this. One lippie off because it's not super practical to cart around in a pocket or with a tiny handbag. However, it's worth it's pricetag and by far better and more efficient at preventing chapped lips than the La Mer balm I had purchased prior.
I also enjoy the coconutty smell and the ingredient list. It's easy for me to find this because there's an actual Perricone shop near me in Malibu. I'm not sure what shipping is. I suppose if it's out of control I might buy one and use it exclusively for bedtime, but I'm glad I don't have that issue.
In the container, it has some of the 'grit' as Nuxe Reve de Miel which easily dissipates with the warmth of your skin as you massage it on your lips. Anyone who bought the Blabbermouth balm that was underground popular (and made by Elijah Wood's sister) would recognize a lot of similarity. That's actually why I bought this when I tested it at the Perricone store. Good stuff.

Got this as i was suffering from ezcema on my lower lip that wasn't going away after a getting a skin peel. I tried so many different creams and balms from the chemist and nothing helped. Read that coconut oil mimics the skins natural oils so tried to look for something that had it and found this.
Amazing, amazing, AMAZING! After a few days i noticed a huge change in the dry patch on my lip and after about a week it was completely gone! Literally cannot leave the house without this now as it's winter in Australia and this has saved my life!
Anyone who has seriously dry/chapped lips should give this a go!

I got this from Sephora on sale. I slather this on my lips before bed and I've found that I'm having less problems with dry peeling lips. I'm not sure if I attribute that completely to this balm but I think its helped. As the previous reviewer said it has a realistic coconut scent which I've found inoffensive even though coconut scents are not a favorite of mine.

This is a lip balm that comes in a heavy glass pot. It goes on clear and doesn't have a taste or sweetness to it. The smell is lovely, though; it has a very realistic, fresh coconut scent, which isn't heavy or cloying. It's a little pricey ($20), but I got it when SkinStore had a sale. Plus, this container is much bigger (0.5 fl oz) than the standard lip balm tubes, so you're getting much more product. I entered the ingredients up above.
I don't know about their claims of the coconut oil containing minerals and nutrients that help the skin, nor do I know about their claims of tocotrienols. But the balm does seem to be hydrating to my skin. This balm is much easier to apply when the weather is warmer and the balm softens up. Otherwise, you may have to work to get a nice coating on the lips. This balm isn't thick, waxy, or super long-lasting. It has more of a smooth and pleasant feel on the lips.
I don't normally like lip balms that come in pots, but this is an exception to the rule. I use it as more of a lip treatment than a normal balm anyway. I tend to use this before bed or whenever I need extra moisture. (I usually follow this up with a normal, longer-lasting balm after a short while.) I will continue to repurchase this as long as it's available. Actually, I wish that Super by Dr. Nicholas Perricone would sell more of these balms in other flavors/superfoods as well.
