I'm fairly new to makeup and I guess this eyeliner isn't too bad. I got the bronze and black. The black is very opaque, pigmented, and matte. The bronze has a brown base with tiny copper glitter. I mainly use eyeliner to tightline, and this works fairly good. You have to let it set for a couple seconds though. The only problem I have with it is that when my eyes tear up from yawning, the outer corner lightly transfers to my water line. It stays on pretty well, doesn't really fade, and comes off easy. Definitely worth trying.

I have this in black. this is the first NYX products that i really don't like. i used it on my upper lash lines and by the end of the day it transfer to my lower inner corners. also there were flakes under my eyes. It only cost a few bucks but it's not worth it.

A great eyeliner, very creamy and nice to apply, long lasting power and great color payoff. I bought the black liner on sale for 4 bucks, but I personally feel that the product itself has no difference compare to some of the most expansive HE liners I've used. The down side for me is unlike others, I do find it smudges under my eyes. I don't blame on the product though, because it happened to me with all the liners I used, so I think it's a personal issue. However, I easily solved the problem by setting a little bit translucent powder on the liner, and no smudging after a long day. Definitely a HG liner for me, my days of paying $$$ on HE liners are over. Thanks NYX!

Update: I decide to give it 5 lipsticks instead of 4, because the more I use it the more I love it. After using so many HE eyeliners (chanel, dior, lancome, ysl, mac...) I've never thought I would find my HG at a $4 price tag (the least I've spend on an eyeliner). At first I didn't expect much from this eyeliner, only decided to give it a try after reading all the good reviews on MUA. And after using it for a few times I decided to give it 4 lipsticks because it's so cheap and works as well as my good HE eyeliners. But wait, I've been using it for two months now and found that it is actually better than my HE eyeliners and truly deserves 5 lipsticks regardless its super low price.

First of all, it actually doesn't smudge if I don't blend it (which I think it's why they don't include a sponge tip on the liner like others, because you're not suppose to blend it). If I want smoky eyes I just layer some dark or black eyeshadow on top of the eyeliner to create that blended eyeliner look. I use it on my upper and lower lash line, waterline and tightline my eyes it just stay put all day.

Secondly, it's very pigmented, I've been using it very often (because it's dirt cheap, I didn't care about it running out like my expansive HE eyeliners) and surprisingly when I twisted all the product up and seems like it has hardly been used, not much of the product has gone since I bought it (My other eyeliner pencils would have been sharpened to half by now if I use them at the same frequency).

Thirdly, I checked the ingredient and found that the formula doesn't contain paraben or any other harsh chemical. What a surprise! I can find all kinds of paraben in the ingredient on my HE eyeliners. I checked it on the Health Website and it's rated 8 out of 10 where YSL and Lancome eyeliners are having the rating of 0.

After all, great quality on packaging, very convenient to use, extremely low price, easy to buy. Unless they discontinue this product (they will be crazy if they do), I don't see myself would ever spend time and money on trying any other eyeliners.

Love this eyeliner! I have 04 Brown and I love it for smuding into my lashes. This is my everyday liner, it is longwearing and mostly waterproof (if your eyes are really watering and then you rub them, it will transfer), and very cheap. There are probably eyeliners that are fully waterproof, but it is enough for anything beyond a really emotional day or a day at the beach, and it removes fairly easily. And it is so cheap! But you don't get a ton of product. Overall great eyeliner, comparable to Mac Pearlglide crayons.

I have this in brown. It's cheap, easy to apply, and the staying power is awesome. I live in a humid country and I ride motorcycle everywhere. As much as I'm sweating and my skin gets oily, this eyeliner never failed to amaze me. It never smudge or makes my eyes look horrible, not even when I'm crying. I went out from 8am to 3pm and it stays just as it is when first applied. when I accidentally rub my lid the color fade, but didn't create horrible smokey smudge look. LOVE IT

I bought this in gray. It applies super creamy and doesnt tug at your eyes but the staying power is pretty great--and I have super oily lids!!! The one drawback for me about this liner is that it's self-sharpening so you cant get a thin line if thats what youre looking for. Otherwise, its one of the best eyeliners Ive ever used! (And all eyeliners are kind of the same to me, so I was surprised this one stood out).

NYX products are a great value and this eyeliner is another winner! Purchased lime green and turquoise blue (nice dupe for UD 24/7 in Clash) to use as a pop of color on my lower lash line and they work great! More long-lasting than UD 24/7 and much cheaper too! The shade selection is awesome and if you're a UD fan like me, and on a budget, these are a great dupe! My only minor complaint is they smudge after 8 hours of wear, I always put primer underneath to help with this. My eyelids are so oily that it interferes with any eyeliner I wear, so keep that in mind! Great pigmentation, especially the lime green.

Great alternative to MAC Technakohl liners! Texture is creamy and yet it does NOT budge! I've repurchased the "Brown" shade several times now....its a deep cool brown shade that is similar (just slightly more brown) to MAC Photogravure. A great deal too! Very impressed with this NYX product!

I love this eyeliner! I always buy in black, but I play around with some of the other colors sometimes. I actually love this eyeliner so much that I gift it to my girlfriends c:

I've never had a problem with the packaging, the liner goes on smoothly, has a nice color, etc. Best of all, it stays on all day and doesn't smear a bit! That's really what makes it my favorite eyeliner (and the cheap price).

Anyway, NYX never disappoints me c: what a great cruelty-free makeup company.

I have this in the shade Deep Blue. While it is a lovely shade, it is not what I would call a dark blue, as their is an obvious purple tone to it. Goes on smooth and has an amazing staying power. Just tested it on my hand with a few other eye pencils, waited till it set and then did the rub test. It hardly smudged at all.

i think the only thing i dont like is how silky cashmere makes my bottom lashes gives a huge contrast and makes them look darker and thicker. which is not a bad thing for some people. but i think thats my fauly for not trying it first.
but other than that good colour pay off. cheap. dont break easily like my maybelline white retractable one :S great choice of colours :)

This eyeliner is amazing they have many colors in the line that are beautiful. The colors I have are purple and blue eyes the color pay off is really good but the blue one has some shimmer. These eyeliners are truly waterproof I had the purple one on a few days ago and I was crying when I went to the bath room to check my makeup it was still on. If your looking for a inexpansive eyeliner that last all day you should consider buying these!!!!

This is a great liner. It goes on smoothly, has a pretty color range (although almost all the colors are shimmery), and stays put. I would definitely recommend it.

I have tried this eyeliner in several shades, and overall I am very happy with it. It is waterproof, and when they say waterproof, they mean it! It stays on until you take it off, and no under-eye smudges, even in hot, humid weather. It is easily comparable to more expensive liners I have used, and at only around seven dollars, I will definetly be coming back for more. The formula glides on easily without tugging or skipping, and isn't as dry as some others I have tried-I have never had a problem with the tips breaking off when they are wound up.
The only issue I have with these is that there isn't really any way to sharpen them-the first time you use them, you get this terrific clean line, but when the tip gets blunted, there's no way to get back that nice sharp point. But the tip is still so tiny, it doesn't present that much of a problem, just a slightly less sharp outline. I will definetly buy again. I found mine at Ulta, but you can also order them online.

I have this in gray, its a taupey midtone matte gray. Nice for lining the upper lids for smokey looks, appears to smudge on lower lashes in high humidity. For the water line it appears true to color & will smudge/fade if you have sensitive/teary eyes, it needs about 10 secs to set so bare with it. Its not as harsh as black and gives a soft daily look especially in the summer. But I did orginally buy this to tightline somewhat naturally, I'm disappointed. Even several swipes does not give the same color as the product. It barely shows; probably because this area is naturally already moist & you cant give it the same time as your water line to do a full lash swipe without it beginning to fade. I'll use it up but probably not repurchase.

Before buying these I had been using the Covergirl line blast and was unimpressed. These are only a little bit better. I was hoping to find the slide-on glide-on but of course those were out of stock so I brought the black and brown in these.

They stay MUCH better than the Covergirl ones and are more opaque as well. They say on the packaging that they are waterproof and I would say that's about right. They stay in my tightline and waterline for a pretty long.

I'm very picky about my eyeliner but these are okay, I will finish the two I bought then I might just cave in and buy the urban decay ones I have been eyeing for months.

I just got this in white. And right now I absolutely love it. The white is so white. I also tried the pencil one and I did not like it. This one goes great in the waterline and because its water proof it last long ( well I think it does because I just cleaned my face and its still there ^^) I would do an update later on. Oh and I've been looking for a really white one for my water line I've used the revlon and this is so much better and for less then 4$ this is great.

This is a review for the retractable eye liner pencil which I don't see in the extensive list of NYX products.
I bought this on a whim since I was looking for green makeup for St. Paddy's day (lime green). It's very inexpensive and the color is actually nice; I've worn it since. It is WP and stays put all day unlike others I have (JK, Almay, Maybelline), no smudging and smearing in my crease. It goes on smoothly and the retractable pencil means no need for sharpening. I think this was a lucky find and I will be purchasing other colors.
Also have a beautiful purple eyeshadow that goes on smooth and lasts.
