I'm surprised nobody has reviewed this one yet even though it's one of Annayake's most popular perfumes.
Matsuri in Japanese means 'holiday', at first the scent is in your face with the mix of cardamom, cinnamon, ylang-ylang and sandalwood however after a few minutes the scent cools down and washes you with the warmth of cloves and some mixed oriental floral smells like jasmine and pink peony.
the scent is best described as an exotic mix of both floral and spices without being over powering. this perfume is more suitable for mature women however since most teenagers and young adults tend to carry the scent of spices very poorly.
