Wow I use to love this stuff, wish I could find it again! Was oddly fun to peel off and help exfoliate and smooth my skin in my late teens and early 20s.

This is one of my favorite beauty products. It is ridiculously cheap, dries well, and makes my skin soft and smells wonderful. It didn't hurt me at all. People may have left it on too long (it dries quickly, so I understand) or may have sensitive skin.
I love this product and wish to find more of it because it's safe (I believe ... nothing has happened yet) and cheap. I just don't know where and would love suggestions. Even the online site doesn't have the product anymore! : (

peel-off masks and pore strips don't really pull gunk out of pores deep enough to make a lasting impact. it only works if theres a strict regimen but the effects would be a result of a combination of factors, not just one mask or one strip. that being said the one redeeming factor about this mask was the satisfaction of peeling it. pretty amusing :)

aww i saw this line on hear and hadto review for it! i used this in like 7th and 8th grade... i loved loved loved this stuff like crazy because of the smell and it made my skin very soft, and smooth. i havent use it in like 2 years now but it really is good for young girly girls who care about their skin like i did..worked for me back then but i dont know if it would now with more serious skin issues.

LOVE this mask! My skin glows and feels sooo clean and refreshed after I use it. Of course it stings a little, peel off masks generally do, but it's not that bad, and definately worth the results. I'll definately re-purchase.

Maybe I am in the minority here, but I love this masque. I have had no pain whatsoever when I peel it off and love the softness that it leaves behind. I also like the fact that it dries so well (to me that makes it easier to peel) -- I only use this about once a week, but when I do my skin just glows ... it's wonderful for such an inexpensive product.

C'mon, ladies ~~ This mask doesn't hurt that much to peel off. I'm 53. My skin has never looked so good. I use the mask every night (if I can spare the time). Actually, I don't feel clean without it. It PULLS; it tugs ALL the gunk out of my pores. My aura is CLEAN -- AHHHHH! I buy it five tubes at a time from the Freeman Beauty website. I could not live without this mask.

i wanted a peel mask and it was between this one and the Got2b peel off. i chose this one because it was cheaper. it's clear, slimy, and came out of the bottle really fast but this is normal with peel offs. i put it on my entire face. it took awhile too dry but no biggie. it hurt to peel it off! i could deal with the pain but still! it did make my skin feel softer but i didn't notice any effect with clearing up my blackheads. i would stick to just using it on my nose or chin and not my entire face.

This is a FANTASTIC product. The masque is this clear grapefruit-scented gloop that you smooth on to your skin, leave on for about 10-15 minutes and peel off. To begin with, I found it painful to remove because I just started peeling it off, as it's expected to. But there is a simpler alternative- go crazy with your facial expressions and the masque peels itself off, painlessly! That's what I did. After I removed the masque, my skin was ultra soft and MY BLACKHEADS HAD GONE! Woohoo! =) I loved this product.
EDIT 12/11/05: I think my I formed my opinions a tad fast on how great this masque actually is. It did work fine the first couple of times, but the 'wow' factor diminishes after awhile. Now it doesn't have much of an effect on my black/white heads--but it still is a great refresher, though.

I love this mask over most in the drugstore. It is amazing and goes on clear so you don't have to scare anyone else in your household wearing it. Every time I use this mask my skin always seems better than before. I know it can be a hassle to peel off but not really it only takes me like a minute to peel off. If you don't get it all you can easily wash off any remenents. I left it at my boyfriends one day and he tried it and loved it too, now we use it together while watching tv. This is definitely a product I will not go without. It works better than any cleansing masks or strips on the market. Way better than biore nose strips and products like that. The only thing I didn't like was the packaging. I don't like that the liquid runs out if you're not careful so I only gave it 4 lippys for that fact but other than that it's a perfect product that is a staple in my beauty routine. It's also dirt cheap. Definitely a must have!

This did absolutely nothing for me, good or bad. I didn't find that it hurt that much to pull off like others have said, but I couldn't see that it had pulled anything out either. My skin didn't really feel any smoother at all. It wasn't too much of a nuisance to apply. It was sort of runny, but I found just putting a bit on my fingers at a time and closing it straight away kept me from making a mess. Still, that doesn't really matter, since it did absolutely nothing, and I would definately not buy again.

First I have to say: OUCH!!!!!!! But then my face feels SOOOOOO MUCH smoother afterwards, the 3 sec. of pain (while peeling the mask off) is totally worth it. The smell of this mask is not the most appealing, but it's not appalling either. I like to pile it on (since it's so cheap I don't have to be stingy), and the mask tends to drip a bit before it starts to dry and stay put. But the mask dries up fairly fast, and when it's completely dry and peeled off, boy, it's the coolest thing!!!!! I can see all the blackheads, whiteheads, dead skin cells, and whatever else that the mask pulls up. My face feels cleaner, and my pores look smaller, and did I mentioned that my skin feels smoother? I wouldn't recommend this mask to anyone with sensitive skin or who has low pain tolerance. But for everyone else, for only about $4.00, this mask is worth a try. I myself will definitely buy it again.

definately not for the delicate of skin.
(note- elmer's glue makes a more effective deep cleaner than those biore strips, and it's got a much shorter ingredient list ;)
but I get a pleasant enzyme tingle from it, and noticed that it dried faster on my t-zone than the sides of my face, which would kinda make sense.
did have trouble getting it out of my hairline, though.

I would definitely not recommend this product. It made my skin very red and is difficult to remove. Peeling it off hurt so bad my eyes started to tear. This mask did absolutely nothing for my skin, it did not remove any of my blackheads. It is very thick, sticky, and messy to apply. I would say the only good thing about this product is it smells good enough to eat! Overall, I would give this product a big thumbs down.

I managed to get this on sale at a grocery store for $1.50 so I don't feel ripped off or anything. I found this product to be easy-to-use and effective. It dried REAL quickly. Faster than the five minutes it said on the bottle. But I wasn't complaining. Peeling off was fun and it felt like a more gentle Biore. I actually saw the blackhead forest on the gooey stuff. I'm glad I saw something. I didn't have too hard of a time peeling it off. Most of the time, it comes off in maybe one or two large sheets and the only problem areas I have are the edges of my cheeks since that's where it's most the thinnest. I just slather it on before I begin playing video games or something like that, let it sit for a little bit and just feel good. I use it most often on around my nose where I have the most blackhead breakouts and I must say that the skin in that area is much much smoother than the rest of my face and I don't have nearly as many blackheads. I think it works.

I agree with most of the other reviewers. This doesn't make any difference on my skin, and it's a pain to use. It takes a long time to really dry, more like thirty minutes, not five like the package says. Then the peeling process takes forever and I still have bits in my hair. And furthermore, OW. God forbid you get any in your eyebrows. The only reason I gave it a two is that it's kinda fun, like peeling a sunburn, LOL.

Oooooh!!!! My skin felt so clean after using this. There's really not much of a smell, so not at all bothersome. I only wish that the mask was coloured rather than clear b/c I found it kind of difficult to peel it off my throat. I would definitely buy it again.

I LOVE this product. yes it hurts like hell when you peel it off. but for me it clears up my face and it feels like your pores are actually breathing. I use this twice a week and it has changed my skin completely. loves it<3

ICK. This smells nasty, feels gross on, and hurts like the devil when you try to remove it. I gave up and tried to rinse it off, no go. I scrubbed with Apricot scrub. Nope. I washed with a Philosophy cleanser. Not moving! I am sitting here with residue all over my face and red blotches. Thanks, Totally Juicy!

hearing the horror stories of how painful it is to peel it off when used by itself...i tried this new method that i heard one MUAer was raving about...she said slather QHMJ on ur face and let it dry...then, slather a layer off a peel off mask (in this case, im using totally juicy) on top of it and wait for 5 or 10 minutes...then peel off the whole entire mask...its a lot less painful than peeling ur whole entire face with totally juicy (but it still hurts like hell!)and it takes away most blackheads!my skin was super smooth in the end.....just keep repeating to urself....pain is beauty (lol...j/k)
