True to all Absolute Color Eyeshadow Monos: I chose "yes" to the buy again option even though, to be honest, the pots of eyeshadow provided are big enough to last me a lifetime, at least the way I use them. The current size is 2g; older shadows used to contain 2.5g. The packaging is a bit of a copy of Shu Uemura shadows; practically, this means if you have longish fingernails you will have a hell of a time opening and closing these annoying little things. Fortunately enough, they are very easy to depot if you use a heat method - something which I highly recommend to do if you collect more than one or two of their colors. Sometimes the color return on a shadow will seem to be poor; very often with Catrice this goes away if you give the top of the shadow a light scraping with a disposable mascara wand or similar to remove the overspray. Most of the shadows, like their nailpolishes, come with tongue-in-cheek names that relate to modern pop culture and are enjoyable to giggle at; also like their nailpolishes, many of the shadow colors are pretty good dupes of higher end brands.
Specific to Heidi Plum: this is one of their monos that comes with better pigmentation, making it a good investment for the price if you're looking for a deep, shimmery pink-and-gold laced purple. It's important to note that they have 2 versions of Heidi Plum; the older ones were matte, or so I hear. The new version is a nice dark color that doesn't look flat due to the subtle multicolor shimmer, and a very good buy if you like purple eyeshadows with depth. For the drugstore price you can get it in Europe, it's a steal - whether you love purples or just want to experiment with one. Highly recommended!

I am lucky to have a few swappers that I now count almost more like friends that are in EU and can get these Catrice items for me that are not sold in the US (our loss!). I have been really impressed with the pigment of these Catrice shadows. The packaging is thick clear plastic that is a bit clunky, but really cushion an impact if you are a klutz like me with your makeup. I actually depotted mine, and they came out really well and are now nicely lined up in my Z-palette. I have 4 of these now, and would like to add to them. The color of this shadow is a deep smokey blue toned plum color, similar to MAC Shadowy Lady (but more blue toned), but with infinitely better pigment and way more product. I really enjoy using this color as a liner, or to put on top of a liner to smudge it out. This looks great with my green eyes - really makes them pop! You can wear a super neutral eye, and just punch it up a notch using this as a liner - it's a very pretty look. This is super pigmented, and will last you a long time - I highly recommend this color!
