This liquid eyeliner was terrible for me. The brush is a felt tip that was very thick. The eyeliner itself, is very watery. It's black, but watery. It takes 4ever to dry! It doesn't give me a straight line. It burns my eye if its near the bottom of my eye. The packaging is adorable though. It's shaped like a bullet. I got this eyeliner for $3 at my local SDM. I would not buy this product again.

First of all, I am an eyeliner girl. I use eyeliner everyday. So I can safely say that I am an expert. I can draw a perfect line with gel eyeliner, liquid, pencil and so on.
Now this eyeliner is dirt cheap, it stays on all day BUT it is not easy to apply. The tip is not sharp, it's kind of a weird shape, like flat and sharp at the same time....Difficult to describe if you don't own one, but trust me, if you're not an expert, you will have difficulties drawing a thin line, especially towards the inner corner of your eye. When I use it, I end up with a much bigger line that i'm accustomed to and it looks really fake. So i won't repurchase. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Stila one but so far, no luck.

I have the waterproof version of this eyeliner. The felt tip makes for an easy application, and the formula is easy to work with and is pigmented.
My eyelids tend to get oily throughout the day, but this eyeliner still lasts. HOWEVER, it does flake and fade if you don't prime your eyes before hand or "set" the eyeliner, which I highly recommend you do. I usually apply this liner after I've lined my eyes with a pencil first, or I apply this liner and then layer the Essence gel liner on top.
Overall this is a great product. It is dirt cheap for only $2.99 at shoppers drug mart. All of the essence eye products I've tried are slowly becoming my go-to products. Will buy again!

Years ago I gave up on drugstore brands in favor of way too expensive but very alluring brands like Shiseido and Chanel. But now I see the error of my ways. This eyeliner is really cheap and very good. Good texture, good brush. What more could I wish for?

I have to admit that this eyeliner is the best eyeliner that I have ever bought so far.I love the matte finish,it's consistency, and the true black of the product. On the packaging,it says that this eyeliner is waterproof.Well based on my experience, this eyeliner is easy to wash off with a wet tissue,I'm not sure if it's because of my oily lids though. But it's smudge-proof ! Which is great! But I don't like the applicator because it's not as pointy as a pen eyeliner applicator, I prefer a pen eyeliner over a regular liquid eyeliner but this essence eyeliner works just as good.Essence is the only product that is very cheap and affordable in my country but it works as good as other good drugstore product. The only big downside about this eyeliner is that it flakes,I rather prefer my eyeliner fades than flakes because it looks horrible! But otherwise this eyeliner is pretty good.I would repurchase this eyeliner if there is no other liquid eyeliner that ismuch better than this.

Ultra black and it has the perfect handle, short and managable.
I really recommend it, you should try that thing. You won't pay unnecessarily big tags for Loreal superliner again.

Hands down, best liquid eyeliner EVER. I paid $1.50 USD for it at Ulta and i have to say, its the best buck and a half i've ever spent. I've used it everyday for almost a year now, and i feel like i could use the same tube for another year! (And i might add-i use A LOT of eyeliner). It hasn't dried up at all, its so pigmented that you barely need any, and it's made my eyelashes look better that ever. This is definitely a must have for anyone inter wearing eyeliner- wether you're a drugstore or high-end junkie you'll love it!

This was my first liquid eyeliner purchase. I am exceedingly happy with it. I bought the water proof formula with the blue packaging for under $3CAD. You cannot beat that.
I gave the product four lippies. It is very pigmented and offers a solid black line. Also, the formula truly is waterproof. I left the tester on the back of my hand after purchasing. It did not budge until I showered the next day. Please *note that I wash my hands obsessively, so this really was impressive. The wand is small and easy to maneuver. However, the felt tip leaves a little to be desired. It is rather chunky and fading the line in the outer corner to produce a wing is quite tricky. I usually use q-tips and makeup remover to help me out (although I am quite inexperienced). Finally, I bought the product two and there seems to be lots left! So for less than $3CAD, it's worth a try!

Amazing pigmentation, easy to apply. Can go as think or thin as I want. What more can one want in a liquid eyeliner?

This eyeliner isn't one of my favourite liquid eyeliners, but I still sort of like it. It runs out really quickly and I've had to buy 5 bottles in under 3 months! It also dries up quite fast and doesn't give a very nice effect once it's dried up. I have a shimmery purple one (can't remember the colour) and I used to love wearing it to parties as it always caught the light and used to shine like hell! But I think I'm going to stop buying it now, and just settle for wearing shimmery eyeshadows to parties instead.

I got the waterproof version and its a great price and decent forumula but the applicator just plain sucks. Its blunt on the end which makes doing a wingtip end very challanging.
If you can get past that, its a good liner especially for the price. And it really is waterproof. This stuff ain't moving! A good makeup remover is needed to get this stuff off if you want to avoid rubbing and tugging.

I've always had the hardest time with liquid eyeliner- even gel sometimes. But with this little guy: problem solved! It is SO SO SO easy to apply. It is also very black, wears nicely throughout the day and it is very inexpensive. I love it!
(this review is on the waterproof one)

The W-P. ONE:
I have tried many liquid eye liners and have always stuck to gel and creme liners because Liquid always flaked and smudged on me. I've bought mostly drugstore eyeliners, but I have tried a few high end ones that did not impress me. This is actually the first liquid liner that has not smudged on me, and that is saying alot because I am also a monolider, meaning my eye crease is invisible as it is very close to my lash line, making liners crease/smudge/fade even more easily.
This liner is very dark and black, and I believe that it is the only colour available. It did take a minute or two for the liner to dry.
One last thing for the wp liner before I talk about the non wp one. It might be just me, but when I used only this liner on my lids, it actually made my lids feel tight and it was a bit uncomfortable. I could feel that I had liner on my lids, if that makes sense..
THE NON W-P. ONE:
I liked this one better than the wp one. This took less time to remove and was WAY easier. The other one actually tugged at my eyelid when I tried removing it with AN OIL-BASED remover. This also didnt make my lids feel tight and flaked less, but still cracked on my lids after 3-4 hours. I might try this over gel liner to see if it cracks less, but it is not very convenient, because I am always rushing to get to school.
It has a nice dark colour like the wp one, but I actually felt like this one stung my eyes a slightly. for those that are wondering, I prefer the washable version over the wp one.
The packaging is sturdy and compact, and good for travelling or carrying around for touch-ups, but that wont be needed because this liner will not smudge on you! The applicator is quite nice, supple but not too flexible so its easy to draw a steady line. The tip isn't too point/precise, but practice makes perfect!
I'm saying all good things about this, so why only 3 lippies? Because it did crack and flaked a bit on me. I wore this to school one day from 8-5pm, so about 9 hours, and when I got home, it had cracked and flaked a bit. However, I wasnt ready to chuck this in the trash just yet because IT DIDNT SMUDGE LIKE ALL THE OTHER LIQUID LINERS, so I will test some more and maybe edit later.
EDIT: The WP one runs a bit too easily, the slightest MIST of water and its running down your face. This and the fact that both versions sting my eyes have made me stop using them, but still worth a try if you guys are on the lookout for a liquid eyeliner!

I love how compact this liners packaging is. I always had the hardest time applying liquid liner because the applicator/brush handle was so long and hard for me to maneuver but this ones is just perfect! I got this in the waterproof version because I live in Fl and nothing non waterproof lasts in this heat. This stuff lasts so long. I have actually fallen asleep in it and woke up to it looking just as nice as when I first applied it. I don't remember exactly what I paid for it but I know it was cheap, no more than $2 at Ulta.

My local Shoppers Drug Mart recently started carrying this line. I purchased this liquid eyeliner for $2.99 and this has become my new HG drugstore liner. It has a felt tip applicator that makes it so easy to achieve a variety of liner looks from thin to thick and even winged. The colour is very pigmented black, the consistency is perfect and glides on easily, plus dries so quickly. In terms of wear it lasts all day without flaking, peeling, or smudging. Seriously awesome inexpensive liner and I have already purchased a back up.
