Don't really like this shampoo. Left my fine hair dry and coarse. It did weight down the fly aways though.

This is what my hair has been crying out for, for ages!
If you are a 4c'er, go get a bottle!
I am so impressed with this Dove intense repair shampoo, that it may become my go to from now on. Creamy, thick and nourishing, it supplies my super curly, coíly hair with all that it needs all year round. I am glad that I took the risk to get this one year in Asda for a pound.
I don't feel compelled to use a conditioner after using this shampoo, and all those with curly afro hair will be asking themselves, "what?" But it is true, this shampoo feels as though it is also a conditioner, and you can leave it on without that nasty stripped feeling. I have gone through two bottles of conditioner, and just finished my shampoo; and I really do not want to go onto something else in the meantime until a sale is on at a supermarket or Boots.
And that is kinda rare for a black lady to say about a mainstream shampoo :)

This saved my hair this winter. My dry hair was driving me insane and NOTHING helped. No treatments, no olive oil, nothing.
So this was my last hope.
I bought this with the conditioner and within three washes my hair was back in shape. Shiny, smooth, silky.
Even though my hair is not really long this doesn't make it look greasy or flat. Just overall healthy.
I'm close to finishing the bottle and I think I will try the one for colour treated hair next, but if it doesn't work I'll come back to this one. I strongly reccomend this to everyone with damaged hair who wants a product low in price.

i bought this shampoo because the liquid is clear
reason behind this is because opaque liquids give me dandruff (weird i know)
anyways , it was 3$ so i picked it up and i love it !
lathers well, smells great and doesnt dry out my hair
i pair it with my redken smooth lock conditioner and my hair is baby soft
i havent noticed if it actually '' repairs'' because i get my hair trimmed every 4 weeks and therefore have little split ends
i would def repurchase

I always get split ends during winter. It's just something I've come to expect and dread every time I see the first snowflakes fall outside. However, seeing this product on the shelves a during December I decided to give it a shot before my hair took a turn for the dull and lifeless fate it was doomed for by the end of February.
This shampoo completely restored my hair to how it usually is during the warmer months! I no longer have any split ends, it's incredibly soft, and there's a nice scent that manages to linger all day along with it. Spring will be starting soon and I'm definitely glad that I'll have a nice head of hair this time to show off ;).

This really does work. I have really bad split ends from years of dying my hair blonde and failing to take proper care of it (ie. using deep conditioning, treatments...). After going to a new hair stylist, I realized how dry and sad my hair really was. I bought this shampoo along with Tresemme Split Remedy Conditioner (?) and Sunsilk HydraTLC shampoo and some deep conditioning products. I mostly used the Sunsilk HyrdraTLC shampoo, and one day used this instead... my hair was so soft, shiny, not as frizzy and my split ends were less obvious! It really made a difference.

On my trip to Florida, the chlorine in the pool SEVERELY damaged my hair to a point where it felt like straw. I picked this shampoo up along with the conditioner and after two uses my hair was soft and shiny. Thisis amazing for damaged hair and will definitely repurchase.

This shampoo is pretty average. I haven't really noticed any difference in my hair since I've been using it; it certainly has not made my hair any softer, and it's hard to judge whether it's stronger at all. I do not think it has decreased breakage. I have not used the system with the matching conditioner, but I have paired it with an expensive Kevin Murphy conditioner and am still seeing nothing special. I got this in a value pack so it was a good deal, but I won't buy again when I finish the bottle.

This is my cheap go to shampoo. It smells great and is moisturizing, though since I have very thick dry hair, I wish it was a tad more moisturizing.

After the first wash, there was a HUGE difference in my hair, and my hair is extreeeemmmely damaged. Amazing, Dove is so impressive. My hair feels stronger, thicker, and all around healthier. It's like the shampoo took away all the years of blow drying, straightening, and teasing.

After using this for 3 weeks ive seen a majior improvement on my hair ! I use this alongside my suave almond& shea butter conditioner. I bought this for the reason that i have wanted to grow out my hair yet not cut it. i had a TON of split ends and looking through my hair now i see none ! This has tamed my frizzies down and really improved the health of my hair !! i will keep using !

would give it five stars if the packaging was actually cute~ i know dove wants to appeal to all women but these bottles are too matronal~ i think it is the obnoxious white bottle~ and the whole damage therapy line looks like this~ it is stupid i have to place the sets together to make sure im buying the correct thing~ i do love this shampoo and matching conditioner~ i tried everything from bigsexyhair to bedhead to j frieda to biolage etc etc but the intensive repair set fixed everything: dryness| frizz| split ends| tangles| etc~ their commercial says "you wont stop touching your hair" or smth and that is so true esp with the antifrizz serum oh its so cheap you must have it all~ okay also the four lippys thing i have naturally wavy hair and i have awesome natural waves but my hair just wasnt any good~ this just fixed it all but my waves are barely there now :c i dont wash my hair every day either so naturally its straight by day three~ my only goal with my hair now though is to get it very long~ right now its long so my friends say but im just getting started since finding this stuff a while ago~ this changed my hair the very first time i used it and its only gotten better~ the intensive repair shampoo and conditioner huge bottles are only five dollhairs each at target so try it out if you dont like it return it and say you got the wrong one for your mum so you get your money back (^_^)y

I bought this after reading such good reviews. BIG MISTAKE! I wanted a cheap alternative to my miracle 7 keratin(purple bottle). I have blonde highlights which need special attention. There is nothing in the ingredients that help promote strong healthy hair. It has mineral oil, and silicones (yuck!) that basically coat your hair and make it look and feel healthy. But I thought i would give it a try, due to it being so cheap. After I was done, it left a waxy feel on my hair. I was NOT impressed at all. I gave it to lippys due to the fact that it DID tame my frizz and control my fly aways. But I will not be buying again!

Bought this product last week, along with the same brand conditioner. I was a bit thrown off at first with the price, being so cheap I figured it wouldn't work THAT well, but I was so pleasantly surprised!! It coats your hair wonderfully, and leaves my hair bouncy and springy with NO frizz! I have thick, damaged, LONG brown hair, and it brought life back to it! Definitely worth the 3 bucks I paid! It smells great- clean and refreshing. So recommend buying this!

This shampoo and conditioner paired are very moisturizing and strengthening. Great for the dry winter months when I use my straightener nearly every day. I really like the smell. It is clean and refreshing. Not darn fruity and floral like most seem to be. Takes a long time to rinse out but that is good if extreme moisturization is needed. I am using Clear now because I've found it to be slightly better all-around. Dove definitely got my hair back on track. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those with damaged hair. Works better than all salon brands I've tried. #1- Clear. #2- Dove.

I really like this shampoo because it moisturizes my hair without leaving it greasy. I haven't experienced such smooth hair after any other shampoo. I've used shampoos for damaged hair that made my hair greasy the next day. This product is wonderful and smells so nice. I definitely recommend this product.

I got this and a few of the other shampoos in this range in my local 99p store (woohoo!). But it's just the same old shit, different bottle. It's kind of nice to apply, smooth and thick. But my hair is no different than if I used any old shampoo.

If you find that you are losing more hair than normal, try this shampoo. Not only was I losing a good bit of hair in the shower, my floors and clothes looked like I had a cat in the house. Almost immediately, I found an improvement (within the first few washes). It may not work for you, but it was next to miraculous for me.

My best friend is an amazing, award winning stylist who has owned her own high end very expensive shop in Cheshire. Connecticut. She recently celebrated the 25th aniversary of her shop. As a matter of fact we met in hairdressing school in 1977. We are both hair care snobs and always have benn, but I must tell you what is now availane in 2012 in drustores/Walmart there is almost no reason to spend 30 bucks on a shampoo. This Dove Damage Therapy Intensive Repair Shampoo with micro moisture serum and fiber actives has done wonders for my hair (combined with the matching conditioner and leave in Nourishing Oil Care leave in Soothing Cream. I ened up lifting my hair color 4-5 levels w/40 volume peroxide and then went over it with bleach for foil hi-lites and many of them at that! This line of Dove products literally brought my hair back from the dead and for as little money as I've ever spent on haircare. Dove has since expanded their line even further and they seem to continue to do so. I use Dove soap (with Nutrium or Oil care) and nothing else. This brand has really grown and done so successfully with quality/price being unbeatable. They need to come out with an entire skincare and makeup line next as I think this would be just as successful if they maintain their control ove rthis qualit/price I refer to. There really isn't any need to spend a fortune on hair products anymore as it's redundent when it comes to Dove!!!
