I love the color of this polish. It is a dusky lavendar gray shade and not the least bit beige. I thought by the name "Greige" this was going to be a gray/beige polish but this is delightfully purple! This is a cool shade and it looks so vintage on. I am really loving this color on me. It looks the color of wet concrete from afar but when you get close you can see it's really a lavender-gray. The color is the best thing this polish has going for it though and this is not one of Sally Hansen's better formulas. To start with this is quite a bit more sheer than I expected and it took 4 coats to obtain opacity. This went on streaky and patchy and for some reason really didn't want to apply on the tips. It was as if it was being dragged off by the brush in the same manner a glitter polish does. I had to add extra polish to the tips to cover the thin patches. This has not has good wear either. This is advertised as a "complete" polish meaning there is no base coat or top coat needed. I applied this in my usual manner over a protein based protective coat and the 4 coats of this then a fast drying top coat. I only put this on less than 24 hours ago and already I have a chip on one thumbnail right next to the cuticle, and 2 other tips have tiny chips, and there is visible tip wear. The tip wear I am seeing isn't terribly bad, but it looks like a 5 day mani rather than just last night's. I noticed this wear by lunch today and I had only worked half a shift! My manicures usually last a full week without chipping and very minimal tip wear. I was disappointed in seeing this as I really love this color. But this coupled with all the coats I had to use and the extra work in trying to cover the patchy areas and tips really disappoints me and all that work and it didn't even last a full day. That is irritating. I can touch it up, but the point is - I shouldn't have to. I picked this up when Sally Hansen was discounting these to make room for the new reformulated Complete Salon Manicure. This could have been a really great polish, it's too bad this is the old formula. I still love this color and don't have anything like it, but I'm not sure I would recommend this to a friend based on the application issues and poor wear time.

I found this at ocean state job lot for $2.00, and picked it up. i've never used this specific type of polish before, and was wary of the thick brush. however, the brush really seems to help me apply my polish. it's a great brush to use for toe nails, and makes painting my nails super quick. this color is gorgeous, i always get compliments on it. it's super shiny, long lasting, and beautiful. it's a grey that is almost lavender, gorgeous.

I guess I'm in the minority here but I love this color. I got this on sale for less than $2..so it was a great price and the color is between a purple and grey. 2 coats for full coverage..I really like this color in my collection.

I'm underwhelmed by this. My biggest problem with it is that it needs a minimum of 3 coats to reach something almost resembling opacity, and I'm a 2-coat-maximum kind of gal. The colour is OK - a cool-toned medium purple-gray with more purple than gray; definitely no beige in there to make it "greige" - although for some reason this gives me a touch of lobster hands in certain lighting. On the plus side, I do love the big flat brush, and the formula dries very quickly.

I've been looking for a nice grey-purple polish for a while to replace my Parlez Vous OPI? That has been discontinued. This is a nice polish. It applies perfectly and lasts long - I have several polishes from the complete salon manicure line and the formula is fantastic. The colour was kind of what I was looking for but it really isn't anything special.

I thought this color looked really good in the bottle. It's a grayish purple creme. I used 2 coats, and the formula was not too goopy. The wide and short brush looked weird at first but was nice to use since 3 brush strokes was the most I needed to completely cover a nail. The lasting power was about the same as my OPI and Essie polishes. The only thing I didn't like was that the color didn't look great with my skin tone. I have fair Asian skin and while the color didn't look horrible, it seemed to lack something.

This is a medium grey colour but not exactly "Greige." It is similar to Commander in Chic but slightly lighter and more of a lavender grey than a grey beige. The Complete Salon Manicure line claims no need for base or top coat, but I always use one anyway. I think the bottle is pretty, I like the rubber gripper strip around the top, and it has a wide, oval shaped brush. I'm on the fence about the brush - I guess it helps coat the entire nail in one or two strokes, but my nail beds are small and it's actually larger than my pinky nail. This has become my go-to colour when I'm in a hurry or can't decide what to wear. It has excellent coverage in two coats and with a quick dry top coat I'm out the door within ten minutes. Recommended.
