I found these to be too drying for my skin to use comfortably.

I use these regularly a couple of times a week in the evening before using my night cream. My skin is very dry, but I'm prone to breakouts around my chin and nose. Using this product a couple of times a week removes any flaky, chapped skin, and has stopped me from having breakouts. I use my night cream straight afterwards, I think if used alone this product would be very drying and probably more beneficial for oily skin tones. Yes, one side of the wipe is very rough and scratchy, so it's important not to rub your face too vigorously with it, it is fine when used gently and lightly.

I can understand why some people may not like these but i really do. They are scratchy, but i figure that is what we expect from exfoliating products. They may be too harsh for sensitive skin and i dont use them everyday because you really arent suppose to exfoliate everyday. After i use it, my face is so soft and smooth!
The one thing that doesnt make sense to me is the people complaining about the smell. I dont notice any smell at all actually. And when something has ingredients that generally have scents how do they get em all out anyway? I suppose thats a question for a professional though. Anyway, if your face isnt too sensitive and you can find em on sale, id say give em a try.

Just no on these wipes very scratchy when I used these I was left with scaley patches on my cheeks and I can not use them on my eyes at all they burn I am not sure if it is just the weird texture of the wipe or not but I am going to stick with the normal ones form removing my makeup.

I generally only use facial cleansing clothes when I'm too tired to follow my normal routine before bed, but I might as well not even bother with these. They don't get even a fraction of the makeup off my face and I always end up breaking out because of all the makeup and dirt they leave in my pores. They also have an unpleasant texture that makes them too rough to use for removing eye makeup and just uncomfortable on your skin in general. That would be understandable if they actually were exfoliating, but they do absolutely nothing to exfoliate my skin. I will certainly not be purchasing these again, and probably won't even use the ones I have left.

I personally loathe these wipes. I bought them because they were on sale with a $1.00 off coupon and I was bored with my usual wipes. They promise exfoliating and they deliver and then some. The more gentle side is what is typical to the exfoliating side of most wipes, while the exfoliating side of this wipe is harsh enough to remove a few layers of skin off my face. The first time I used them, I used the rough side one swipe on one cheek and not only was it painful, it left a red streak like a sunburn visible for a day. My skin isn't sensitive at all and gets pretty greasy at the end of the day, I can't imagine what they would feel like on dry, delicate, and/or sensitive skin they're meant for. I can imagine they'd be great at removing, say, heavy pancake makeup for the theater, or for smoothing rough patches of skin on the knees, elbows, or heels. The only positive things I can say about these wipes are; next to no smell, what little smell there is is quite pleasant; they are very large, the size I wish all wipes were.

For people who need the extra scrub down (especially around my nose), this stuff is pretty awesome. I do agree with others that the texture of the wipe is a bit rough, HOWEVER, it has two sides. One side is textured a bit rough, the other is not. For areas like my nose, chin and forehead, i wipe down with the rough side. For my cheeks and around my eyes, i use the smooth side. People that have written it off should give it another try using both sides of the wipe.

I purchased these wipes, thinking they were like the cleansing facial wipes. Boy oh boy, was I terribly wrong! They're NOTHING like the cleansing wipes! The only thing in common: the citrusy smell. These wipes have a semi-flat side... and a side that is like sandpaper. I cannot use these wipes on my face; they were just too rough! I used them to exfoliate my hands and even on my feet sometimes. They were able to exfoliate my feet really well; however, that was not the main purpose of these wipes. As much as I love this brand and their products, I will not be repurchasing the exfoliating facial wipes again.

I've been using Simple's Exfoliating wipes for a couple of months now. I wash my face at night, and follow up with one of these bad boys before I hit the sack. I've got to say, I absolutely adore them. My skin is combination and VERY acne prone, and these wipes do an amazing job of buffing away dead skin and any makeup impurities that might be left on my skin. They don't smell and are very big, making it easy to cover the entire face.
There's a smooth side and a rough side. I generally don't use the smooth side, save for around my eyes and lips. My skin always feels amazing after a good exfoliation with these bad boys. While I'm not 100% sure they're doing all too much for my acne, they do serve their purpose of being a natural and deeply exfoliating wipe.
I buy these on a regular basis, and am tempted to try the other Simple products as well.

I gave this a total 4 because while they are not really dry, I feel like these could be moister. They exfoliate well. Rub gently! They take makeup off pretty easily but if they were more moist they would be much better on mascara. i love cleansing wipes I don't have to rinse after using because I HATE bending over the sink to wash my face and I shower in the morning. These do not leave a residue on my skin. I can use my moisturizer directly after. Another thing that i love about these is there is no perfume.
I took 1 point off the price because for $6 and really looking at what they are, you should get more IMO. The up & up brand wipes from Target work great as well and you get the same amount for $3.99. I also took 2 points off of the packaging. I hate the packages that use that sticky tab to reclose. They don't stay sticky and they don't close well. I use a ziplock bag to keep them from drying out. I love packages that have the little plastic clicky top. Like baby wipes.
I will repurchase.

I grabbed these when I couldn't find my usual Simple Facial Wipes, assuming they would be fairly similar. Wrong! These feel like sandpaper and caused my skin great irritation. Since they are not going anywhere near my face again, I've repurposed them. With a few sprays of household cleaner, the wipes are great for bathtubs, sinks, and counters. Strange, but true!

I was expecting the makeup removing towelettes .Since it says Exfoliating Facial Wipes you would think it would clean your face it doesn't there i very little moisture on the towel making it hard to move it around gently.I also don\y find them exfoliating at all the cloth it self is very rough but not in a good way it's a mesh cloth. It feels scratchy and makes your skin be irritated and sore from what feel like scratches on my face.
I would stay away from this product unless you have very thick skin so what little exfoliating you get out of this product doesn't damage your skin
It doesn't do either of it's two claims .well so not worth the 10$ spent.

Meh.
My feelings on these are fairly neutral. However, that being said I would never repurchase them again, nor recommend them to a friend. Here is a detailed list of why.
1.) The texture is akin to sandpaper. I am pretty sure my rabbit raking her claws down my face would be comparable.
2.) I would never use these as a "cleansing" wipe, they are not meant for that and they don't do a very good job.
3.) Wtf is that smell? It's almost as bad as my Witch Hazel, but at least the Witch Hazel actually serves a purpose.
4.) Aren't these supposed to be scent free? -checking package-
5.) Hmm, should I toss them?
6.) Nah, that would be a waste, I'll just never use them! YES! I am so smart!
7.) Hey its those wipes I bought, I think I'll use one..
8.) Yep, they still suck and my face feels like I walked across the beach on it..
Sorry I got a little off track there, but I think you get my point. I don't see how these could work on sensitive skin, however if you like a rough sort of facial these things are definately for you! (I find both sides equally rough, though there is supposed to be a difference.) So your probably wondering where the neutral part of my feelings on these come in. Well here you go, they never really made me break out, or gave me any problems in general. Most of what I don't like about them boils down to personal preference.

I usually use Ponds Morning refresh with citrus and cucumber.
I bought this product and was not impressed for three reasons;
1)They are really dry
2)They almost smell like wine! (they are supposed to be sent free)
3) And they feel like sand paper
I complained to the company. Never buying this again!
The Cleansing wipes are MUCH better.

I bought these because I love trying new makeup removing wipes. I have used the Biore ones for a very long time, but wanted to try these based on all the hype revolving around this brand. When I first opened the package I immediately hated the smell. For being fragrance free they have an awful scent and I usually don't notice scents. The next thing I noticed while using them was that they hurt my face. I love products that exfoliate but these wipes hurt so bad that I couldn't use them around my eyes (which is where I need to remove the most makeup) and my face felt rubbed raw after using them. I used up the package, but only because they were the only ones I had and I was determined to finish them. I will never repurchase them and I am surprised by how many great reviews they have gotten.

I love these wipes!!
I actually decided to try them on the strength of their MUA reviews and I don't regret my choice!
Background:
I have oily, clog-prone skin with previously really bad breakouts that have slowly been getting better over 4 months. I'm on a lemon juice and retin-a/benzoyl peroxide regime and mostly my skin has tons of residual scarring but not any new breakouts. I usually use no-name wet wipes (I knoooowww) to take my makeup off.
Pros:
-these exfoliate (somehow) better than my clarisonic. LEGIT.
-fragrance free, if some of the "liquid" gets in my eyes by accident, doesn't even burn
-gentle but highly effective at getting off makeup, everything except waterproof mascara (which I rarely use)
-25/pack isn't bad if you use 1 a day
-no harsh chemicals
Cons:
-would (like the others already stated) prefer a plastic closure, but I store the wipes lid side down and am careful to close them properly, so they work fine.
-a bit pricey (more than.. store brand wet wipes!) but worth it if you can afford them
-they aren't great for the environment (obvs) and are a disposable product.. but useful in travelling
Overall:
BUY THESE.

These are by far, my new favorite wipes! They don't have any fragrance but smell a little soapy. The texture is very nice...I like to use the exfoliating side to really scrub off MU. They do a great job of removing mascara, as well, and leave my face feeling clean without leaving behind any grease or film, like some wipes will do. It felt fine to use my moisturizer afterwards and made my routine simple while I was traveling. I am repurchasing these for sure.

I cannot believe these have positive reviews.
I always use facial wipes at night because I'm too lazy to wash my face right before bed. These were fine for about two weeks and then I had a HORRIBLE cystic acne breakout. I don't generally breakout and so I was all confused about what the hell was wrong with me before I realized it was the wipes as they were the only thing about my routine that had changed. Unfortunately I had made it 2/3 of the way through the package.
It took about a week for my face to clear up after I chucked these puppies in the garage.
Oh, also, they "exfoliating" side is scratchy as hell. Rough, even by my standards and I sand a layer off my face every three days.
For the record, I use oil of Olay regenerist wipes or soap and glory wipes without any problem at all.
